I am going to just jump right in...
Pros:
1. Home delivery, what's not to love about that?
2. Clear directions and everything you need to DIY
3. Love that it came with 2 sets of gloves, stain remover, a skin prep pack, and the bonus sticker so I could put those directions right on my mirror!
4. The money savings vs. going to the salon is HUGE
5. The option to apply with a brush or bottle is nice
6. The quality of the packaging/merch is amazing
7. I loved seeing my name on the product that was fun
Side note; I didn't even have to use the stain remover and for me, that was a surprise because that has always been an issue in the past. Yay.
Con's
1. This was my first order and though I sent in a slew of current photos of myself, my hair condition, % of grey, and photos of my previous hair color, online pix I found showing the color I wanted, and a very detailed email outlining what I wanted, the color didn't quite give me the results I was expecting given the extensive info. I provided. I wanted more red and maybe a level lighter. Having said all that I AM STILL VERY HAPPY because it did cover my minimal grey and the level of color is still great. I understand red is hard to deposit but with today's color being what it is you should at the very least get the results you want and then it fades within a dozen washings.
2. I have to apply the color, lol
3. I don't get that great salon shampoo, conditioner, massage, and style. lol
4. I don't have eyes in the back of my head to apply the color well. lol
I would have added before and after photos here but there is no link or ability to add attachments.
I will let my specialist know about my experience and I've no doubt the next shipment will be the perfect color. These things take time and I look forward to being a long-term customer. I hope my review helps new customers take the plunge.

I wasn’t able to find natural red at store- only purple burgundy maroon, sent a pic to team and they nailed the coppery brown red I wanted on the first try. Not as drippy as store bought, was not a huge mess. Im a subscriber, cant wait for next batch

Perfect! I waited a couple of months to review. Seeing as I dye my hair a red/brown shade, it typically fades out to a strawberry blonde within a month. My grays typically show through after only a week. I can say that it has been 2 months and my grays are just beginning to show in a couple of spots, and my color is still going strong! I have been raving about this product and will continue to do so. Thank you!!!!!

I don't want the color of CARROTS or A BURGUNDY, with that being said.....You guys nailed it! What's more important is that when it starts to fade, as all colors do, its very gradual.

I’ve been going to a salon for 25+ years but wanted to try something in between. I’m very picky and particular about the strawberry blonde shades I want. My first box came with 2 different color mixtures and I absolutely love them both. It’s perfect !! I will def keep using this product and may even be able to ditch the salon all together.

Great colour. Good instructions and accessories.
The colour was easy to use and covered well. Up to now it doesnt appear to be fading out like box dyes so very happy.

With my type of hair as a Black African PLUS it all being grey, I was skeptical about e salon because I didn't see any hair that looked like mine on the site and thought they will not really know how to deal with my type of coarse hair.
I was wrong. very wrong...
My hair came out so beautifully covered. I instantly felt more confident with myself.
I am so grateful I took a chance. It is the absolute best hair decision I HAVE EVER MADE.

I don’t know how my colorist got my color so perfectly. I sent a picture of my natural hair color, gave a description of what I wanted, and my colorist adjusted the goal color I chose to be lighter and I’m so glad she did. I’m obsessed!

I am in my late 60s and religiously went to salon every 4 to 6 weeks for color for over 25 years. But I stopped going during the pandemic and hopefully I can do it myself the rest of my life. Why.? It has never looked better. I actually get asked all the time who does my color and people are shocked when I say I do with eSalon. It took a few times to perfect formula, color, and my technique. I am also thrilled with the consistency. The eSalon products also keep my hair healthy looking, & color vibrant.

Bin begeistert,jahrelang die richtige Farbe gesucht und jetzt innerhalb weniger Tage gefunden!Genau meine Farbe!!!Das hat noch nicht einmal der Friseur hinbekommen.Der Aschton ist weg,die wenigen grauen Strähnchen auch.Danke für die schöne Farbe!!!!

After many years of using shop bought dye's I've got to say esalon has exceeded my expectations the whole kit was nothing but brilliant and the colour mixed for me coloured my greys superbly and it definitely lasted much longer compared to shop bought dye's. Cannot fault the kit am over the moon with it

I messaged my colorist asking for a slightly lighter shade than my previous order and she did perfectly! The color I had previously was just a little too stark of a contrast to my pale winter skin tone so I asked her to lighten it slightly and she did a perfect job. The richness is still there but much less harsh against my skin tone. It covers my greys nicely and is the easiest process. Very happy!

This combo worked so well. My hair looks amazing!!!!!! like I went to the salon. I dont have any dark spots, all my roots were covered, the color looks uniform throughout my hair. The changes in time and more formula I think was the right way to go. Only negative thing is my hair felt rough after I colored it, which didnt happen before. My scalp was also very dry afterwards.
Overall it was the perfect color!! just what I was expecting.

Hallo, seit ich 14 Jahre alt bin bekommen meine Haare immer wieder Farbe von mir oder meinem Friseur.
Nun trage ich meine Haare lang, da ist man vorsichtig mit dem was man seinen Haaren antut.
Hier „stinken“ meine Haare nicht nach Chemie und fühlen sich gut an. Die Anwendung ist leicht verständlich und gut aus zuführen. Der Preis ist zwar teuer als in einem Drogeriemarkt aber immer noch günstiger als beim Friseur.
Mein einzigste Manko ist die Farbe in den Längen, diese wäscht sich bei mir sehr schnell aus, so das ich mit einem intensiven Rot Shampoo arbeiten muss. Während der Rest noch super glänzt und aussieht wie am Tag 1.

Loved the kit, easy to use with clear instructions and every tool you need. My only gripe was that the product did not effectively cover my grays. However in contacting customer service I was given a solution and am excited to try again with my next kit. The level of customer service I received was fantastic, kudos to esalon for that. Overall I am very impressed, if this next kit works on my stubborn, pesky grays, I'll be a lifetime customer.

Habe durch Zufall den eSalon gefunden und dachte mir probiere es aus. Wurde professionell beraten und meine Farbe gefunden, heute kam sie an und so gleich getestet. I was looking for some adjustments to my strawberry blonde, and this one is a perfect formula. Will stick to this one. Colorists were helpful as always, which is what I like as much as the great color they provide. Have been a longtime customer and don't plan to quit any time soon. Highly recommend

I really loved how easy it is to color my roots in the comfort of my own home! I don’t have to worry about having color oops on hand in case I mess up because esalon’s coloring instructions are foolproof! This is the 3rd time I have used this kit and I will continue to purchase it.

Habe das erste mal die Haarfarbe benutzt und bin begeistert. So einfach, tolles Ergebnis, nette Aufmachung der Produkte. Bin gespannt, wie lange die Farbe hält und wie sich die Haare nach mehrmaliger Färbung anfühlen. Aber bisher finde ich das Ergebnis besser als beim Friseur und ich muss nicht ewig im Salon rumsitzen. Love it!!!!

Ich war mir Anfangs nicht sicher ob das klappt mit der Online Bestellung.
Nach zusenden der Fotos habe ich meine Haarfarbe bekommen. Nur die Grundfarbe habe ich ausgewählt.
Die Haarfarbe hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Passt super zu mir und lässt sich sehr gleichmäßig auftragen auch bei Ansatzfarbe.
Ich habe zwei Fotos hochgeladen. Ich werde auch weiterhin meine Farbe bei eSalon bestellen.
Ich habe für mich eine sehr gute alternative zwischen Drogeriemarkt u. Friseur gefunden.

I was a bit sceptical at first, I really didn’t want to box dye and loose the different tones but also couldn’t afford £150+ at the hair dressers on a colour. The kit arrived and it was so pretty, instructions very easy to follow and I went non ammonia as I hate the smell! The colour is perfect! My ends are lighter which I wanted to show depth on my curly hair, my hair is so soft and conditioned. Only thing I wish there was more conditioner, I have really thick hair and I needs lots. Other than that I’m very happy and recommended to lots of friends too!

I LOVE this brand! Thibalt was my colorist and she mixed the perfect color for me! I’ve used box dyes for a while and they dried out my hair. Now that I’ve tried eSalon it was really easy and gave me my vibrant bright red back. My roots look good and the rest of my hair is wonderfully ruby red with copper tones. Thank you eSalon! :)

I am so in love with the custom color that was designed for me. It’s gorgeous! It’s also the closest to my natural color since I last saw my natural color back in the 90’s! Haha! I’m Hawaiian/Irish my mix is a mahogany, blonde and copper and it’s AMAZING! I’ve been asking my professional hairstylists for this color FOREVER! My husband told me my hair looked beautiful. My neighbors all said something while I was walking my dog, even the maintenance man noticed! I really enjoy everything about this product from the vibrant, long lasting color, the ease of doing it myself thanks to the great directions, and the really really nice packaging it all arrives in. I highly recommend!

I absolutely love the rich color I received from eSalon and my care team. I explained what I was looking for (golden brown) and I got exactly what I wanted. Didn’t think that was possible with my dark chocolate brown color. My gray has also been MIA for weeks! I’m so happy. Thank you. 🥰💕♥️

Pamper night was as good a night as any. Assumed it was to be used on dry, dirty hair but it took a quick search of the website to confirm (my box dye was apply to clean hair). Loved all the boxes, tubes and sachets. Also loved the little lid on the shaking bottle. Applied the stain preventer, separated hair into debatable quarters and went for it with the root colour. No problem!! Easiest hair dye ever!! Then noticed the 2nd bottle which I had assumed was for a re-touch was actually for mid length and ends. Ok, that's fine. Put the stuff in the bottle and started shaking. Didn't check for a lid, I mean why would I!! Needless to say you are supposed to use the lid from the first bottle. KEEP THIS IN MIND. Texted husband about the orange dots on the ceiling, walls, floor and everything else in the immediate vicinity. 2nd lot went off ok apart from missing the patch by the front of my ears, both ears (only noticed next morning). A new one on me is where you then fill up the dye bottle with the rest of the dye in it with water and mix. (I put my finger on the end!!) However what really got me (if you have read this far) is that you are told to put Ur head back and pour the bottle of mixed dye and water on the hair and hairline etc for the shine. I am in the house on my own, I am also nearly 50. There is no WAY I am doing the gymnastic type bend I need to do, to get my head back over the sink OR bath!! So bright idea, I will lay down in the empty bath on my back and do it that way and it will be fine. Now the bath we have at home is your finest 70's avocado and narrow. I'm not exactly skinny so it was a pretty tight fit (I had my head under the taps) poured all the stuff over and massaged it in and it was quite thick so I had a lot left coating my hands. Then I tried to get up ... Not happening. I was wedged in the bath with my hands and my head covered in dye and I was doing the stranded tortoise!! I tried flipping myself up with my upper body, I tried rolling. Nothing

I was afraid the color would come out too dark like Madison Reed's color did. This color came out perfect. I received wonderful compliments the next day on my color. No one could believe I had done it myself. Of course, E-Salon gets the credit for a wonderful product. I told everyone about this online company.

Best colour I've ever used.

I started using this hair colour during the covid 19 pandemic for the convenience of having it delivered to me. I have used it ever since! The condition of my hair is amazing, so strong and shiny. I get no banding or colour build up. The colour is never too dark either so no waiting for it to wash out a bit like I used to with box colours and it fades out in a flattering way. The colourists are very knowledgeable and have helped me with any queries. I will continue to use eSalon for my hair as I receive so many compliments!

I am over joyed with my color selection with gray hair at the roots I either purchased too black or too dark brown light. I love the golden tone. I have never in my life been so happy with a hair coloring treatment. I have very fine sensitive hair! The coloring was so on point and that fabulous leave in conditioner YES YES! I am all step up for my auto shipment! I am a very satisfied customer. Not so mad about going gray anymore and having to color my hair. I will let you know how long it last! I hope the whole four weeks.
