Great product, smells good, and leaves my hair very managable, especially after I dye my roots, it softens that hardness from the dye. It also takes away any brassiness you may get after a while from having highlights. Love this product, don't love that it's out of stock!

I have blonde highlights so I am always apprehensive to try products outside a salon. This was wonderful! I used the highlight kit too and had beautiful results!

I always get asked if I got highlights when I use this product. I did my own balayage through eSalon last year and I still love to use this toning mask to renew the highlights in my dark brown hair. It revives the color and tint of the highlights and leaves my hair silky and shiny.

I love this product. It not only softens my hair, it gets rid of the "brassy orange-y" color that starts to show up after about week 6 and being in the sun too much. Really tones down the red for me. I have fine hair, mostly grey now and this product is really helpful. My hair color is a light brown/dark blonde color. I recommend it and frankly use it nearly every wash in the summer/ fall. Great product, good price too.

My blonde was getting brassy and this turned it back to a gorgeous cool color. I have really long hair so I used almost the entire bottle in one session. If I ever go blonde again I will buy more of this great product! I loved it!

This mask is just amazing! It is removing unwanted red and orange undertones from brunette hair, leaving the hair beautifully ashy. It smells great and the hair is very soft and silky afterwards. I highly recommend this product!

I used this after touching up my roots with medium blonde. It has made my roots less orange than they normally appear although they do normally calm down far a few washes. I will definitely be ordering again.

I like this before shampoo toning mask better than the after shampoo tint rinse. The rinse tangles my abundant but very fine hair too much. The toner did its job and left my hair so smooth and soft. Please bring it back.

I so wanted to read the answers to some of the questions that were asked about this product. I have many of the same questions but contacting the client by email is a nice touch but it would be nice if you would post the answers to the questions so others could benefit. I just bought this product for the first time and haven't used it yet. I can't really rate it honestly but I love eSalon products. However, I don't know how often to use it. I shampoo every day. Is every other day too frequent? Once a week? I also use the Devoted to Hue and absolutely love it!! It gives me a pop of color and covers my white hair! I use it every two to three days lightly. I don't want to be without it! I was hoping this would be the same or similar.

I haven’t used this yet because I didn’t know HOW to use it. Directions say to apply with gloves (which weren’t provided) which led me to believe perhaps I was to use this immediately after the color processing, yet how could I do that in the shower the wait the 10+ minutes to rinse. Hoping the results are better than the instructions!

All the products I have used have been of great quality, except for one hair color that was clumpy and did not mix well. I have been a client a good while. Now I have decided to accept my gray roots. I will not need color anymore, more in the future if there are products that are good for graying hair, I am sure I will try them. Thank you

Definitely needed more than one. Have shoulder length (maybe a couple inches below my shoulder). Didn't seem to help with softness or shine. If your hair is like mine it will still find a way to pull some red tones from the mask. Might need to make these more personalized too. Don't think I will get it again. Nice to try it though to see if it helped.

I tried the red neutralizer tint rinse first, it lightened the red in my baylage but didnt remove the brassiness, so then ordered this toning mask and it turned my reddish brass baylage into an ash brown and I love it, just wish it would last longer and bottle was bigger....I use blue shampoo the tint rinse then the toning mask

I used this product for 30 minutes after using the red neutralizer tint rinse. Luckily, it was able to remove the tangles that the tint rinse caused. I liked this product but it is very time consuming to use. Is there a daily shampoo/conditioner that could help maintain the results?

I noticed that this Toning Mask was making my hair darker, as in the basic color of my hair. The mask I used before was a Golden. I just thought that it was the same mask just the name had changed to encompass both shades. But this made my hair actually beige, with more of the beige standing out. So, I can't use this color.

I purchased this hoping to remove/neutralize brassy orange tones in my brunette hair. This did nothing to the color/tone of my hair. Total waste. I have started using a blue shampoo & conditioner I purchased elsewhere which has made a world of difference and totally neutralized my brassy tones. I would recommend that over this conditioner.

This is the most useless product I've ever bought! It does absolutely nothing to tone down red brass. Wasted money for anything else that would have been less expensive and more effective. DON'T BUY THIS!

I applied this product after shampooing and towel drying a bit to tone my platinum hair. I washed it out after exactly 15 minutes - It left my hair feeling soft but unfortunately the pigment deposited really unevenly and now I have very patchy bright blue splotches all over...Feeling a little nervous about getting the pigment out - may need to pay my colorist a visit to fix it :(

Didn't Do Anything To My Hair

I purchased this toning mask because I wanted to balance the warm tones in my light brown hair. I dyed my naturally brown hair a very bright red color and maintained it for about 7 months before I decided to dye over the red in an attempt to return to a tone as close as possible to my natural hair color. As the brown hair dye has started to fade, my hair has become very warm and brassy again. So I decided to try this product. After reading reviews, I chose the Blonde Neutralizer because I was afraid the one for reducing red would leave a blue hue on my hair. I applied this mask and washed a strand of my hair to check the progress after 15 minutes. I didn't notice any change so I decided to leave it on for 45 MINUTES TOTAL before washing it out. I let my hair dry and was so extremely disappointed. THERE WAS ZERO CHANGE TO MY HAIR COLOR. Maybe the red reducing toning mask would work but I'm hesitant to purchase it because I feel like there's a good chance it will also be a complete waste of time and money.

I wanted to try this toning mask after the soft red and red neutralizing tint rinses didn’t help remove or subdue any brassy tones in my hair. Unfortunately this product did not work any better. Again, I do like the smell and the way my hair feels after though.

I have dark brown hair with red undertones that shine through. This did nothing to help them at all.

I was sent this for free because the Light Set turned my hair orange. They said to use this to help fix it. It did nothing. Super disappointed with the light set and the mask. Will not purchase either again.

Did not help correct my unnatural orange color. Only use if you want to add coppery or strawberry color to blonde hair. Not sure why this was recommended to me when I was trying to go lighter.

I colored roots and put this mask on as advised after rinsing out color. The mask was not moisturizing for my hair ....smelled great though. Very disappointed that it dulled the professional highlights I had in rest of my hair. My hair looks mousy brown with no shine now. :(
It worked good for the area that gets brassy.
