I love this color kit, I’d recommend this to anyone, but I have very thick hair and the bottles are not big enough for my hair. I only color the roots. I’ll still use it but wish I could buy a larger size.

Sehr schöne Farbe...
Etwas umständlich den Anweisungen zu folgen, aber ok.
Am Ansatz ist ein schöner braunton. Der Rest meiner Haare ist eher Richtung schwarz gegangen.. Also, dort wo vorher mal goldbraun drauf war, sieht etwas komisch aus.. Ich denke mal, ich muss zu dunkleren Farben greifen, oder wie bekomme ich den schwarzton weg bzw dunkeldunkelbraun..
Ansonsten waren eure Produkte wie conditioner und shampoo mega.. Haare fühlen sich weich an..

Color doesn’t last as long as previously

The last few times I’ve ordered coloring, I have noticed that after about three weeks, my grays are showing up. I literally wash my hair only twice a week, and don’t use any heat or styling devices. My hair is permed, it has been so for several years. I’m a little disappointed in this.

dommage que dans la pub ce n'est pas bien spécifié que la coloration contient de l'ammoniac... et pour le bleu reflet bleu, le reflet bleu disparait au premier shampooing....
Mis à part cela, ça fait plus d'un mois que j'ai fait la couleur, mes cheveux blanc sont toujours couvert, et le noir reste parfaitement noir!

My color was nice although a little too much copper. The gray coverage didn’t seem to be as good as with some other products I tried. Maybe I need to leave it on a bit longer.

I dyed my hair a beautiful red. Got a lot of compliments on it- but now the ends and middle are this brass rose gold color with my root a vibrant red. They just didn’t fade the same. It still looks ok, but I wish they would have faded to a similar color. It also faded pretty quick. I’d say about 2-3 weeks.

The steps were easy to follow. The color was perfect. However, it was not enough product for the amount of hair I have. Some parts didn’t get dyed. As well as, some parts of my bleached hair had a brassy look. So, I’ve talk to my stylist and we are hoping round 2 will work out.

I love how soft this hair product made my hair (going on 2.5 weeks), and like the overall color but the newer hairline grays around my face did not cover very well, and I could see this immediately after coloring my hair. Then within a couple of days, the color washed out in this area altogether and the greys in this area came back as if I didn't color them. I'm using a color spray to correct it, but wish the permanent color covered them. Overall, it is a good product.

I LOVED the color —for the first week and a half. Then it began fading as my usual color does . By the third week it was a very light, light strawberry blond. All I could see is a ghost when I looked in a mirror. For this reason I am canceling future orders. If I am going to pay a higher price for hair color I at least want it to last as long as the least expensive one I used before. This was not the case. Please cancel future shipments.

I like the convenience of having the color shipped right to my front door but I still struggle with good coverage around my hairline and it seems after the first wash or two it seems to turn a bit brassy. I have watched your how to videos trying to get a better coverage but I seem to end up with gray showing around my temples.

My hair is really quite dark and over the years I have had quite the struggle, coloring it. If I try to go lighter (which of course I always do) it turns orange, or in some cases purple.
Seeing as I had terrible results with in home box color I started going to the salon. Paying at least 300 bucks per visit. Somehow with all that money I was never quite happy with the end results. I mean it was close enough and it covered my now graying head well so I kept doing it. Even when my hair started to look dry and damaged. I found eSalon purely by chance through an ad online during the lock down last spring and I was sceptical. I can safely say now that I will never go back to the salon. My hair is healthy shiny and a color I have only dreamed of!!! Let's not forget that it costs a fraction of what I was paying for a "meh" color job at a salon. I will never use anything else ever again. It's easy, they have professionals that make the color for "your" hair, and your desired outcome!!! Did I mention its affordable!! Please dont take my word for it check it out!

I’m naturally a brunette but have enough gray that I decided to medium ash blonde. Usually I pick up a couple of the better hair color brands at the drugstore to accomplish this. Cue the pandemic and getting out of the house is less appealing so I decided to try eSalon. I liked the question process although I had to ‘trick’ it to get the lighter blonde color I wanted. Otherwise everything has turned out well. The color is a bit red, almost strawberry blonde, but I think a toner will fix that. Definitely a good purchase!

I love the color that was prepared for me. The hair wasn’t dry after the application either. I took one star off because there was strong chemical smell while I was mixing the color.
For new buyer, you need a bowl to mix in your color because it is too thick to shake it in the bottle like the store/drugstore bought.

Applied according to instructions but unfortunately my roots are noticeably more coppery that rest of hair.
Still a lovely colour but annoying as the last batch had evened my hair out, so a bit disappointed. I can only assume that the 30 mins on roots, 3’mins on rest of hair timing is a bit out. Would be good to get some advice on how to fix this or at least avoid it happening next time. X

No embarrassing roots

I haven't colored my hair in at least 6 years, probably 10 for two reasons. One, the salon cost $100 after tip and my roots were back in so soon - I hated the skunk look, which seemed to last longer than the new color. Secondly, I started to do it myself with box color from the stores, and the look after two weeks was awful, different shades and it seemed to just never match. For the first time, and I waited a few weeks before writing this review, there is no root discolor, or basically eSalon gave me a perfect match. Thank you eSalon for such a great match! I chose the semi permanent because as the grays come in they seem more natural and blended as if I wasn't coloring my hair at all. I also think that it is gentler on my baby fine hair. I love this product and will continue to use it. Once again thank you eSalon!

Five weeks after I used the second application (the new adjusted color) I noticed a small section of my gray hair was already faded. Not just the roots but the entire piece. Since I have already received the 3rd shipment, I will use the product once more, but I would like to cancel my subscription as of now. I will have my hair dresser do the color in the future.

Die Farbe von Esalon ist sehr schön. Leider bleibe ich nicht beim Abo, weil ich mich für was ganz anderes entschieden habe. Aber ich kann Esalon sehr empfehlen. Ist super einfach.

I requested a lighter brown but it's still on the dark side Im thinking because my last color was a darker brown. Maybe it will lighten up with time. Still a nice color though.

The color was great, but dear God, the fumes! I like the color, but may need to go darker. The one thing that was really notable were the fumes. Much worse than what I had been using. I’m not sure if that will be a deterrent from having me use this product again.

Really appreciated the effort that went into my color. I found the skin protection oil and the wipe to remove color very useful. Product went on well but I didn't love the smell which was simillar to store bought products. It started to look dull by the third week. So, I recolored at 3 weeks.

I don’t think you can go too wrong with dark brown but this is an excellent colour and matches my hairdressers the only difference is the price £45 cheaper highly recommended

Difficult to apply yourself if you have long hair. The root and ends color are noticeably different so if you aren’t good a blending you will miss spots like I did.

The colour is fantastic, looks really natural and it allows the natural strands of my hair to shine individually. Hair looks shiny, full and healthy.
My only complain is that grey coverage is a little less than expected on the length of the hair (it is perfect at the root, though, so the issue is maybe with the instructions)

Auf fb einem Link zu folgen finde ich immer etwas heikel.Die Werbung hab ich schon oft gesehen. Als das Angebot für 10€ inkl. Versand kam hab ich es gewagt.
Mir hat der Bestellvorgang gut gefallen auch dass ich Fotos von der aktuellen Haarfarbe hochladen konnte. Ebenfalls das anschließend ein feedback gewünscht ist und auch wieder ein Bild mit dem Farbergebnis gezeigt werden kann find ich gut.
Meine Farbe war mir einen Tick zu hell aber ansonsten hat es echt gepasst.
Das Set wirkt sehr hochwertig, dass der eigene Name drauf steht ist auch was besonderes.
Also von mir gibts hier eine klare Weiterempfehlung.
Auch Preis-Leistung passt. Hab beim Friseur immer um die 40€ nur für die Farbe bezahlt und da war die Beratung lang nicht so ausführlich.

Tried others but have returned to eSalon because the product is so gentle on my scalp: not drying, doesn't itch. Only wish someone could figure out how to keep red tone hair tones from washing out more quickly!

It's 3 weeks since I colored my hair, and I have to say the color is still vibrant. My grays are staying covered longer than the color I used previously. My only issue is the strong ammonia smell when mixing the developer and color together.

Da alle Friseure geschlossen hatten, musste ich mir mal wieder selber helfen. Die Haare habe ich mir schon öfter alleine geschnitten. Aber die Farbe aus dem Supermarkt ist schlimm. Entweder zu dunkel oder zu rot oder ....... Nun dachte ich mir, was habe ich zu verlieren, mehr als schief kann es nicht gehen, Aber nein, alles ist gut und vor allen Dingen hält die Coloration richtig gut. Man muss seltener etwas tun. Vielen Dank.

Like many others, I am struggling to keep up with my hair color during the prolonged lockdown. Last year, I had a disaster attempt with a box dye, even though I thought I had the correct shade, so this time I decided not to risk it.
I like the feature where you can upload your own photo and get a custom mix. The box arrived fast and with everything you need (except a bow, but I already had that).
I enlisted my husband to help me out with the back of my head, took us a while to get the sectioning right but the result is fantastic for a first try!
The color is very vibrant and fits exactly the shades I already had (not easy when it comes to red/copper tones). My grays are covered very naturally, they didn't get extra "bright" like it can happen sometimes, even when the hairdresser does my hair.
The hair feels soft after the application and you can tell that this is a very high quality hair dye.

I love the color and the way it sort of covers the gray. I had another account under [email protected]. I received 1 credit before I realized that I had 2 accounts. Can I put that credit onto this account [email protected]. Also on 12/10/2020 my shipment was mailed. I never received that shipment. I called and the woman said that she would ship me a free order, that was in the middle of January. I never received the free color kit. HELP

I love the new brighter blonde that you mixed up. The only issue I can see, is that the sides of my hair, which is thinner on the sides, did not capture the blonde. It is not that big of a deal, and it is probably user error (me) anyways, but that was the only thing I noticed. I did not expect to receive the highlights kit because I think this color is good enough. I have not tried all the other products yet so I cannot review yet.

I loved how much product you receive, it was definitely enough for my long hair. While coloring my hair I did a very good job of making sure everything was covered but once it was finished I’m still seeing a few grays so this was disappointing since there was so much product. Love the smell of the shampoo and the conditioner made my hair very soft. I just did it today so I will see how long it lasts.

I would give eSalon 10 stars if I could. On placing my order, I was assigned a colourist who reviewed, based on a photo I sent and my desired look, the colour needed to achieve this. The first colour was a little too light to colour my grey roots, and when I told eSalon this, Amelia, my assigned colourist telephoned me to discuss how to rectify this. They then sent me, free of charge an adjusted colour and checked in with me to see how it worked out. I have now placed another order and we are going to tweak it ever so slightly, just to achieve perfection. If you can’t get to a hairdresser, this is the next best thing to ensure a good colour, and it doesn’t dry out your hair but leaves it shiny and glossy. You really feel that eSalon care about how your hair and I have been so impressed by all they have to offer.

Very good coverage but I find quite tricky to apply in spite of following the instructions very carefully.

Die Farbe ist wirklich toll und es ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Leider enthält die Farbe anscheinend Ammoniak und mir gehen die Haare davon aus, da es auch hormonell bedingt sein kann wechsel ich vorerst nicht, bis das geklärt ist. Es ist viel zu bequem und einfach sicher weil ich tatsächlich immer das gleiche Ergebnis habe, was bei Drogeriefarbe noch nie der Fall war.

Started using esalon when Covid closed salons here. When salons opened back up, I kept doing esalon since it’s a much cheaper alternative & the color looks good. I find the process time consuming & a bit messy but worth it for the savings & end result.

This color is perfect! There wasn’t a red or orange tone at all. Would be better with size large gloves. I always tear the medium ones.

Initially I loved the results but 3 weeks later I can see the grey hair coming through again as if the dye has faded. Possibly it would happen with any dye though. Loved the colour when it was first done.

I finally used it yesterday, March 26.
There really isn’t enough to do all the roots underneath the surface,
My hair is quite thick. I have that done at the hairdresser a couple of times a year,
it’s impossible for me to do that. But I had enough to do all the roots that show,
& it turned out pretty nice. I won’t need another set on April 1st.
I do my hair every 6 weeks or so, & I use temporary spray touch up in between.
I try to limit these chemicals as much as I can.
So I’ll let you know next time, about in one month, if I’ll need it.
My hairdresser is back at work, & I plan on going there within 1 month or so, to have my whole head done. I really need it. Didn’t go for 15 months.

This product was worth all the penny. It did not dry my hair after coloring my hair. Color looks more natural, although I wish they ha e the color that i like but all in all I'm satisfied.

I love my color, only thing I’m not to excited about is that my sparse white hairs along the hairline does not color or hold well. It either stays white or if does catch the color it fades quickly.The shampoo / conditioner/ tint is amazing! Keeps my hair silky soft and smells beautiful
