Arrived damaged…andNo complaints about esalon…love you! My box arrived with the Tint leaking. A little messy, but I could deal. But the applicator (developer) bottle had no tip on it…which I didn’t realize till I shook it together with the color! My bathroom looked like the scene from “Psycho”. ColourI have amended my colour a couple of times. Both times I have not been satisfied with the outcome. I like a chocolate brown look, the colour looks like it has orange tinge and not as dark as I like. I have requested dark drown with good coverage of my greys. Though good hair color, it is hard to successfully color hairTwo months ago, the color bottle’s cap was tightened so much that nothing I used to open it would work. I tried to open it with pliers but cracked the bottle. This time, the gloves were so stuck (old?) that my fingers couldn’t go into their spots. Color IssueMy color has taken a much longer time to arrive after ordering and this round did not cover my roots at all. The consistency was much more foamy (which it has never done) and began making sizzle sounds as well. I’ve never been unhappy with an order but this time I am very disappointed. I cannot find anywhere on the site where I can email/contact support. The one place I found would not load a location to message. I plan to try and call support during the week. I’d like a replacement order to try and cover the roots that have grown out significantly due to such a long time for delivery (which has never been such a long wait in the past). Poor supportDur to lack of support I did not use the product. I actually needed to send it back and try a different formula. I was told yo just test it on a strand. Don’t buyThe colorist are not helpful. When I called to get clarity about highlights she was not helpful and acted like I was bothering her. If you’re trying to cover gray don’t use this product. Gray comes back very quickly and the color isn’t great. Prices keep going up. Not enough gray coverageThere was not enough gray coverage. Hard to use - Messy. Thinner than other hair coloring and bled at the edges onto my face. Very costly. I can Color my hair for under $10 an application. I wanted to try it but my biggest complaint it did not cover my gray at the edges and roots. Pas assez et pas la même couleurJ'ai reçu mon 1er kit d'essai et déjà par rapport à ma longueur de cheveux stipulée je n'avais pas assez de produit, c'était sec sur les pointes, impossible de tout finir. En plus, le service client me dit que si j'avais voulu plus il faut que je recommande un produit ( je vois pas l'intérêt de me demander ma longueur de cheveux alors. Soit j'achète un kit coloration complète soit un kit racines mais là c'était bien censé être complet ...) Et dernière chose, la couleur ne ressemble pas du tout à ce que j'avais sélectionné alors que mes cheveux étaient très décolorés. Le roux est inexistant, je suis simplement brune, bravo, retour à la case départ, ce que je ne voulais surtout pas. Root color didn't blend with endsIn June, I asked for a slightly lighter ash brown touch up for roots to match and blend with medium brown lowlights and highlights. I didn't use the touch up until November and the roots came out as brassy and light reddish brown. It did not match or blend with my ends. I just ordered another root touch to try and fix the problem. Hopefully, it will blend. Wrong color sent!I'm not sure what happened because the previous order's "darkest brown" with no copper/red was PERFECT for my roots. However, after I used the latest set, my roots ended up looking reddish like my previous color/highlights, despite my instructions saying my color is again the "darkest brown". I have used this company and product since 2020 so I'm really disappointed. DecepciónParto de un 8.34 aproximadamente y aunque mostré fotografías para modificar ligeramente mi color a un tono más cobrizo que rubio, el resultado ha sido una base muy oscura con un rubio medio como principal y después cobrizo. Calculo que es un 7.43. Cubre mis canas pero es demasiado oscuro, no es el tono que imaginé cuando hice el pedido. La caja me incluyó producto para medios y puntas de forma gratuita. Didn't work outI really wanted to like this since it is cheaper than Madison Reed. My color was supposed to be darkest ash brown ,it came out golden brown, no ash! Disappointed!!I started out with grow out from a high light, I asked for a dark blonde or light ash brown.. ended up with a head ful of copper !! They sent me another color again I expected a light ash brown? I got a dark chocolate brown!!I I was really upset and frustrated! So I explained again that this it WAY TO DARK !! So again I said I wanted a light ash brown !! They then told me that I couldn't go light on top of th DARK THAT THEY TURNED IT !! There solution was GO TO A SHOP and have it professionally done! Color did not turn outThe hair color I choose was a dark dark brown with a purple sheen to it. My hair turned out a weird lighter red brown on the top and dark brown on the bottom. Toner set completely turned my hair grey green - covered all my highlights!Very dissatisfied with the toner addition. Burned my hair more than other brandsColor was as I chose it but I’m going to adjust to a slightly darker color the next time. My only concerns with this companies formula is I had more than usual hair loss when I was rinsing the color out. It’s normal to have some hair loss when coloring but I had quite a bit more of hair burn than any other brands I’ve used like Madison Reed. Extremely Not Satisfied!Used the product and it DID NOT TAKE! I still have my grays and it actually seems like front of my crown turned slightly pink along the base of my hairline...extremely cheap product so I guess my bad - got what I paid for. Not working anymoreI've been using E Salon for years now, I really loved touching up my roots at home with it. I loved that E Salon does not damage your hair, and you can customize your own color. My problem is that the last few times, it did NOT cover all my grays, or color came out after few washes. This most recent time was bad. Halfway into the process, the dye turned warm and fizzy. It did NOT cover all my grays and I am disappointed. Discontinued my subscription and feel not only like I wasted my money, but also my hair because now I have to re dye it. Pretty badOverall I found the color a bit hard to apply evenly, but that may have been my eye sight. It came out okay initially, but is fading really quickly. Then tonight, 3 weeks after coloring, there are streaks of hair color all over my pillow. Wtf? I do not use hair product or heat style, just shampoo and condition with the same stuff I've used for months so I can't explain why the color is bleeding everywhere now. Didn't dye my hair at allI was so super excited to receive and use this Color Set and I have to say I am sorely disappointed. I have been almost fully gray since I was 17 (currently 36) and I've been dying my roots for 20 years. I followed these instructions step-by-step and after an hour of application and setting my timers, etc. I rinsed my hair out and it didn't color a single hair on my entire head. My hair didn't like it!I used the product exactly as instructed and my hair didn't take the color it turned almost a pink instead of the burgundy I was expecting and started falling out in clumps immediately. To be fair I never use any products in my hair so I didn't really know what to expect. Two completely different colorsI asked that my color be lightened JUST A LITTLE from last month since it was too auburn and I want more of a strawberry blonde. I got two colors (which is nice) to do roots, then middles and ends, but the middle and ends color ended up being like a Ronald McDonald red/orange and completely different from the roots and rest of my hair. I see no difference in hair colorI was so excited for this. And followed instructions exactly, but the color does not show it looks like ai did nothing to my hair my roots are still lighter than the rest and my hair is still brown with red. Staying powerThe color is fine. I like all the extras, stain remover etc. however, when I get my hair colored at the salon, the color is good for at least 2 weeks. I had no gray hair, My hair was natural dark blonde, color kit turned it orangeI spent $200 trying to fix it at real salon and still not right color.
