I always love my hair color. They always make my color the way I want. But this past order it was wrong. My color is mahogany. Last order the color looks more like black!

This was my second time to color my hair with E-Salon. I followed the directions and after I shampooed and conditioned my hair, I had to wash it again and it still felt waxy. Couldn’t get all the color out. Called customer service and they suggested I use baking soda with the shampoo and that should take care of the issue. While it helped, I still had to wash my hair 2 more times, so 6 times in all to get all of the color out and I was left with damaged hair. I called back again and they said they would send me some repair shampoo and conditioner.
Before this I had hair below my shoulders and I ended up having to cut my hair short to right at my neckline because it was so damaged.
I will not be using this product again.

Habe eine Haarfarbe bestellt, die zu hell ausgefallen ist und den Ansatz nicht abgedeckt hat. War mein Verschulden. Eine neue Haarfarbe konnte ich mir nicht bestellen, ging nicht weil ich einmalig eine Farbe wollte um zu probieren, der Betrag konnte aber nicht mit Rechnung bezahlt werden. War nicht möglich. Eine telefonische Auskunft ist auch nicht möglich und per E- Mail gibt's nur standardisierte Antworten die nicht auf die Probleme eingehen. Krönung des Ganzen: Ich kann das Konto nicht löschen, ich möchte dort kein Kunde mehr sein. Gesamturteil jedenfalls für mich: unbefriedigend

I give it a 3 star because I liked how it was packaged and the directions. I have dyed my hair many times. When I placed my order I stated that when I dye my hair a darker brown it has red tint and when I dye it lighter it has a orange tint. Not pleased with the color . My hair was like a orange color and then you send me another one. Very dispointed with this product.

I was unable to get to the salon before the 2020 corona virus state shut down. I ordered a color that was medium brown, and told my colorist that I wanted something to get the red out. She adjusted the color and I was sent DARK brown because she thought the original color I selected would be too "warm". I have nothing against warm, it was the reddish orange color I didn't want. I am almost fully gray, so now I have dark red where I was gray and almost black for the rest of my hair. I am sad that I was sent such a dark color. After what seemed like an eternity of back and forth with the consultant, she said to patch test the color before hand but I couldn't stand waiting another week with no color for my hair, so I tried it. It is going to take many times going back to the salon to get this back to what I wanted.

Bonsoir j'envoie un message un peu tard car je viens de finir ma couleur, cette semaine j'étais très contente car ma commande a été très vite envoyer ,mais je suis vraiment très déçue du résultat !!!!!
J'ai demandé une coloration qui s'apparente au plus près du rouge que j'avais et je finis châtain foncé je ne recommanderais pas chez vous et ne vous ferai pas de très bonne pub!!! je suis dégoûtée, il va falloir que je démaquille mes cheveux pour pouvoir refaire une coloration par-dessus!!!! en ces temps de confinement il est très compliqué de se procuer des colorations, je me faisais une joie d'avoir une couleur personnalisée.... en habitant seule c'était la seule joie que j'avais de cette semaine, entre le travail et la solitude....suis très triste, déçue et pas contente du tout....

It didn't cover my grays at all and the color was WAY too light. Surprising since all of the reviews said it was quite dark.

major breakage

started using esalon when my box color was discontinued. i used it pretty regularly for about a year, it took some time to get color right. quit using it a couple months ago when i noticed chunks of hair breaking off. haven’t colored hair at all recently and still noticing breakage. i have very long hair, considering cutting it short the damage is so bad.

It seems like the 2 bottles were switched. I DID NOT mix them up. I'm very used to coloring my hair. But bottle one was supposed to be more dark blonde than gold and mahogany but my roots look ORANGE!!! Not dark blonde. Not mahogany. Orange. Not happy whatsoever. And the smell!!! The second bottle was so bad it was hard to breath in the shower for the last step. This was not worth $10 deal, let alone if they want more for another try. Just..... No

Initially when applying the colour it really stang my scalp so I didn’t keep
it on for the allotted time.
I’m so glad I didn’t because certain parts of my hair turned more of an ash
blonde which is not what I wanted at all.
So I definitely won’t be using it again.
Will be sticking to my normal trusted brand!!

Mir ging es wie einigen anderen Kunden auch so das ich es auf den ersten Blick nicht gesehen habe das ich mit einer Bestellung gleichzeitig ein Abo abschließe, habe es dann gekündigt und wäre vlt dabei geblieben wenn man vorher nachgefragt hätte ob grad eine weitere Färbung benötigt wird, denn für fast 30€ ist mir dies alle 5-6 Wochen zu teuer. Über die Farbe kann ich noch nichts sagen habe sie noch nicht verwendet.

I followed the directions very carefully, including the "very important final step" of massaging my scalp with leftover color mixed with water for 2-3 minutes in the shower. When doing so, the smell was overwhelming; it made me cough and it made my eyes water. The texture of my hair after washing with the shampoo and using the conditioner can only be described as damaged, coarse and straw-like. I am very disappointed in the condition of my hair following the application of this hair color. The color of my hair itself is great, but I am worried about the condition of my hair.

It was a lot of steps to not get any lighter..I will stick to regular box color and the salon when they open again. Not worth $30 for no change. Followed directions completely.

as you can see, my roots are darker than the rest of my hair. i wanted an all over, one color look, but the colors sent to me for roots and ends were the same color, and now my roots are still darker. didn't feel like a customized color process after all was said and done. i really like the color my ends came out, but i'm highly disappointed with the roots.

No estoy contenta porque no es cobre, es un tipo de castaño con tono cobre. Es muy oscuro y no se parece a la foto que me habéis mandado cuando hice el cuestionario. No está mal el color pero le falta el brillo, no es cobre. En la sección mis fotos la ultima foto que subí, es la de después de teñirme. Porfavor que la comparéis con las primeras para que veáis la diferencia. Yo quiero cobre intenso, anaranjado, no quiero castaño cobrizo. Gracias.

My hair is still orange. I only went up a couple shades, asked for the neutralizer to cut down on brassiness. Not impressed, but not surprised I've never found a color that works for me

Hello,
The color ended up being to dark in comparison to the rest of my hair and created an obvious separation of the new roots and my fading highlights it didn't blend in naturally. Also after washing it the tone turned really red, and in pictures my hair looked burgundy. The quality of the hair color is nice but this was definitely the wrong color and too dark.

My color was a little brassy and the gray roots were really light. I haven't used color that often so I'm certain my inexperience was part of the problem.

I specifically stated in my instructions that I was ordering the light ash blond because my hair has Gold and Red undertones and I wanted a light blond without any hints of those colors coming through. After coloring my hair was COMPLETELY GOLDEN. I'm extremely disappointed as I was a previous customer and came back to give them another shot and now I'm not sure what to do. Very disappointed

My last 2 color sets have not covered my gray roots as they usually do. I left the color on my roots for 30 minutes last time, but the result was a transparent looking light red color that doesn’t match the rest of my hair that is a darker red brown. I’m not an expert, so I really need good instruction on this. Heidi B

I used the recommended colorfill, then followed the directions and added the Demi color to my hair. Neither of the products seemed to work. Not even my lighter ends picked up color. No strawberry blonde throughout any part of my hair. I used the entire bottle and followed post coloring directions exactly.

This blend is on orange side. It defiantly does not blend with my Natural color. Even though I chose the lighter option when addressed my my colorist, I was under the impression that I was getting color to treat all my hair not just my roots. Even though the roots were my initial concern, I wanted a lighter tone all around, not just my roots and now they have a orange tint. Do not think I will reactivate my auto ship.

I tried this twice and sadly have been disappointed. Both times I could not even tell I colored my hair at all. I followed the instructions exactly. Nothing. Customer service was nice, but I am just not pleased with these color products.

I'm dissapointed. I requested a more neutral shade with a hint of warmth but the color I received (and followed instructions for using) turned out VERY warm (orangeish). In fact, the color seems very close to the last color I received and wasn't satisfied with. The pic (of my desired color) I attached to my last order is much more of a rich, neutral medium brown base color, and the highlights are a caramel shade. I'll accept another free base color that attempts to meet the more neutral shade I'd like (with a touch of warmth). Otherwise, I'll be canceling my subscription since this isn't working out for me as hoped.

While the instructions given were very helpful as well as the box came very organized, I did not get the color I wanted. I was a dirty blonde with red undertones and wanted to go lighter, and Im honestly more of a brunette with some blonde and red now which is definitely not what I wanted.

I was skeptical about getting a hair color over the internet, but I after I finish coloring, I was shock on how good it looked. I was disappointed in the coverage for my gray hair. Did not cover my gray hairs at all. I have them around my temple of my head. I was very disappointed with that, I had to go get a gray touch up to make it looked good. If it would color my grays hair better, i would probably use it again.

Hello, I am very disappointed in the product I purchased. It did not cover any of my grey hair. I followed instructions very carefully, unfortunately didn’t work. The same thing happened the last order I placed. I thought I would give it one more try, but basically same results. It doesn't look like they made any changes to the color. I said I wanted a lighter, more blond color and my hair still is a reddish mouse brown. Not really into walking around looking like a mouse

The color is much lighter then I thought it would be and it seems to be sporadic. The top is much lighter and the ends are much darker. The color doesn't seem like it colored correctly. I've never had this issue ith the box color I buy.

Hi
I have just changed my address as I have moved house and realised I have been using this product for nearly 5 years and have never been given a discount or offer and it is actually now quite expensive compared to shop bought dyes. I love the product but am seriously thinking about trying something else.

Le coloriste n'a pas du tout tenu compte de ma demande d'ajustement de couleur. J'avais demandé plus de rouge, moins de cuivré, et au lieu de cela, il a réduit le rouge et ajouté beaucoup d'acajou. Honteux, ridicule et pas professionnel du tout !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately it didn’t cover my grey hairs. They are all visible. Also the color isn’t unique in my whole hair. There are differences in some parts, especially previously colored sections appeared different color than my roots. I got disappointed :(

I colored my hair with this following all directions. Within 2 weeks of coloring it, my gray was showing and my ash color from my previous color was coming through!!! Today I get an email they charged my card and shipped an "autoship". No email was sent to warn there was an upcoming automated shipment or that I was going to be charged. Horrible experience. Very disappointed. I'm hoping I'll be able to get a refund without disputing with Visa

The smell was too powerful and dried out my hair

I was hopeful that this product would work for me, but was very disappointed. First off the smell was very strong. So much so that by the time I got into the shower it was burning my eyes and nose, and my eyes would not stop watering. This alone would make me not want to use again. On top of that it really dried out my hair, and I am just now able to not have it full of static after 5 weeks. The color faded pretty quickly, and I can see my grey showing again. I am getting one more bottle due to the auto ship. I called to cancel the order, but was told that I could not cancel it even though it has not shipped. I will not be using it. Can you tell me the best place to dispose of this?

Allerdings ist es alleine tatsächlich eher schwierig, die Farbe den Anweisungen entsprechend aufzutragen. Eine Freundin hat das für mich gemacht. Das Ergebnis war super, die Farbe und die Abdeckung toll, ohne künstlich zu wirken. Allerdings nur bis zur nächsten Wäsche, seitdem kommt das Grau schon wieder klar durch, die Farbe hat sich zum Großteil rausgewaschen, obwohl wir uns akribisch an die Anweisungen gehalten haben.

The color was way off. Despite my pointing out in my initial order and 2 subsequent calls to tweak my color, that my hair pulled gold strongly, my color was extremely brassy. I can do better myself with plain boxed color from the drugstore.

Zero stars. They must have sent me a bad batch of peroxide because the dye dissolved the ends of my hair and it tangled so badly I had to cut six inches from my hair! My scalp burned as well. The product was sticky and hard to get out of my hair even after several shampoos. Save your hair and don’t order this horrible product. What BS to answer me “that one of your hair care specialist have worked with me” This is not true, no one helped me with anything. Do not buy, dishonest company!

Concerned about packaging

I like the results I get with this colour set, however is there a way you can reduce the amount of packaging used ??? especially the plastic, and 'plastic-feel paper instructions that I'm not sure I can recycle. I'm trying so hard to reduce the waste and need to make tough decision about the products I buy.

I’ve had my color change to adjust to cover my grey. Last order color was changed to darkest but unfortunately it did not cover well. Perhaps I will go with other color or discontinue using their products.

It looks great until a wash it a few times then my gray starts to show threw around my face and in my part. I guess it’s just hard to cover gray...

Although I like the personalized service the product left my hair super dry and frizzy and after a week with permanent color my grays are starting to show through.

My gloves had half the thumb cut off when I opened it. The hair color didn't cover my roots or the red my hair was before using this product. Terribly unsatisfied and I won't be using again.

I was told that I can cancel at any time. I cancelled after the first order and this company continued to bill my credit card.
