I was not happy.I followed the instructions to the letter and when I finished there was a distinct color differrence between the out grow and the rest of my hair. I wanted it to blend the colors. Not what I wantedI have been holding my April box for several months choosing to take a break from coloring. Finally broke as the summer months have lightened my hair, expecting this color to be a light/apricot is red, especially since I have had several adjustments made to make the color lighter and because I understand that you can just lighten dark hair without bleach that is in part why I stopped coloring for several months. Now I fish I had taken a before picture, I am a naturally redhead, some would say strawberry blond, which is back to where I was prior to coloring yesterday. Beautiful color but doesn’t lastI really, really wanted to love this! After following the initial instructions and adhering to the timeframes suggested, the color has already faded just a few weeks later. I didn’t have blonde highlights or grays to cover so there’s no reason why the color shouldn’t have deposited more than what it did. Not worth the moneyWanted to love this product. Gave it a good try-3 or 4 times. the color was not as requested. Customer service did replace, but with a color that was still not cool, but warm with golden/red tones. The colorant was difficult to rinse out-not sure why. Have been coloring my hair for years and never had this problem. The highlighting kit did produce desired highlights. Greys are still lightMy greys are very light and it doesn't look good. That was my concern to cover from the beginning. The color is darker on the other hair as they were before. Two-tones.So I tried esalon for the first time & am not overjoyed with the results. The color for my roots is a totally different color from the rest. The 2nd color is a bright red but the 1st (roots) is more of a brown. So, my overall color is Two-tone. BAD PRODUCT. TEMPORARY COLOR. UNAUTHORIZED CHARGING ON MY CREDIT CARD!I did not order this on 8/14/2019 as they indicate- that is fraudulent. Well I thought i would try a new hair product on 3/18/2019 and they said they would send me two months for the price of one to try them. Then I started to get one after another each month without any order from me! All to my surprise. They did not send any contact info with the order! I searched through my email accounts and could find no emails I do not know what/if they ever sent me one but I was unable to locate it. Bottom line I have all these product which i would not have reordered on my own due to it not being very good to begin with. I have finally located the company and I will see if they handel this respectfully by accepting the product and refunding my card. I will keep you posted. Left horrible waxy residue!Unfortunately it ended up turning out a waayyy darker shade of brown than I was expecting, and despite shampooing/conditioning/rinsing very thoroughly til the water ran clear, my hair had this weird waxy texture that lasted for over 3 days - even after getting a haircut and professionally shampooed in a salon. Very disappointed in how this turned out, I was hoping it would be an improvement from my first order. I don’t know what went wrong, I followed the instructions exactly. I requested a refund because eSalon states "If you are not completely satisfied with your eSalon products, at your choice, we will either send you a new hair color formulation (or replacement hair care product) or issue a refund for your purchased items." Unfortunately what I didn't know is that they only issue a CREDIT refund to use on other items in their store. You can't actually get your money refunded. BlahThe color was supposed to cover the new growth/grey in my natural dirty/dark blonde color but turned it to a copperish-brownish color. The previously-highlighted portion went a darkish blonde color as expected but with a green tinge. If I counteract the red with a purple shampoo it will mess up the greenish ends. If I counteract the green with the ketchup trick it will make the red roots worse. I love the formula, but....I have thick hair and found that this wasn’t enough for me to coat my whole head. The color was exactly what I asked and I love it! WaxinesI've been using this product for long enough now that I know the results are always waxy! I used redkin color gels before and never had this problem. The last time I washed, I am not exaggerating that I had to wash a dozen times (including using baking soda to absorb oils) to get the awful greasy feeling out of my hair and it still was not working. Now my grays are back and I am not technically due for a color for weeks. I have stuck with it and followed instructions to give this the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not happy. So disappointedI had looked at Madison Reed for a year before trying.. I finally did, initially loved the color and the grey was perfectly covered. Roots don’t match endsThe only thing I’m a little puzzled with is the roots they are very brown and they don’t match the ends but the way it turned out looks good just not as red as I had hoped maybe I should’ve went with a brighter red in the dark blonde section. Don’t waste your moneyThis color didn’t last at all. After coloring my hair I washed it very well. For an entire week afterwards, whenever I would wet my hair or wash it, color would start dripping off. Hair conditionI believe I have commented on this before. For as long as I have used your products I have loved the color and the condition of my hair,eventually. The condition the first week after the process is difficult, this past order the worst it has been. When rinsing the product out my hair it feels like clumps of stiff straw, I use all of the shampoo and all of the conditioner in the kit to wash my hair. This time it did not help in the least. In all I had to wash my hair 5 times, 3 the first day and twice the next, before there was any release at all. I believe in the quality of your product this should NOT happen at all, it's tremendously discouraging. The question of, "What happened to your hair???????" Dye lasted only 2 weeksWhen I did my hair (with a friend because I cannot see without my glasses) I loved the color. It was great, the formula was great. Normally color burns etc. this didn't. However a week and a half in I noticed color started to fade. I am probably now 3 weeks almost 4. And it is the brassy version of red. You know when you go blonde and if you dont use purple shampoo it kinda goes brassy? It is like that but with red. Otherwise everything was amazing would give it 5 it stayed longer. Color is okay; could be betterThe color on the main part of my hair (not the roots) is too dark. This is the first time I've been provided a color for this area. The final result is darker than my natural color. The color of my roots seems fine. I realize this could be partly due to how long it takes me to apply all the color because my hair is curly and down to the middle of my back. Never the right colorI've had 3 orders of color and the color was never right. I wanted dark ash blonde, the first 2 times it was golden blonde to a brassy blond, the last time it was chestnut. No where near what I pickedI was going for copper from white. While I understand this isn't easy, my hair is horrible. It came out almost pink and fried to heck. I had pretty healthy hair for it to be white, I take very good care of it since I do bleach it often. I only bleach my roots and tone the rest but I make sure to keep oils on it, use paraben and sulfate free shampoo, all that good stuff. After washing the color out I expected soft hair, as it usually is after I tone it, but my hair was coarse and the ends are horribly damaged. Everyone liked the color even though it was nothing I'd ever seen but after a week of putting oils on it and only three washes with the paraben free shampoo the color has faded and left my hair looking like a Georgia clay dirt road. No shine, just dull, muddy looking hair. I have to go pay someone to chop my hair off and fix the color now. IntimidatedI received two developers..one was for roots and the other for ends...it intimidated me because it says to try not to get the root formula on the already colored hair..well I'm doing this myself...I thought it woukd be as simple as one bottle for the whole head. Nearly there but not quite yet!I think I wrote a review at the time that I was unhappy with it but I got lots of nice compliments so I'm happy with the color for my ends but the color for my roots is still not right. Its too light, not dark enough, not giving enough coverage and too orange. I'm using a dark brown eye shadow to make it darker so if you could fix that part I'd be very happy! Not what I was expectingMy hair color is light brown. I have used several box colors over the years to cover my white hair at my temples and hairline. I decided to try ESalon. I looooove the color but....It only took to my roots and the remainder of my hair is still just dark brown. Gute Grauhaarabdeckung und intensive Farbe, aber leider zu dunkelDie Farbe ist intensiv und deckt graue Haare gut ab. Beim Auftragen merkt man schnell, wieviel Wasserstoffperoxid enthalten ist - das macht sie leider auch etwas aggressiv. Trotz Beschreibung und angehängter Fotos ist die Farbe leider eine Nuance zu dunkel. Dies obwohl ich im Kommentar ausdrücklich erwähnt hatte die Farbe lieber heller als zu dunkel zu wählen, da ich auf keinen Fall dunkler werden wollte. Zu dunkelWesentlich dunkler geworden als das referenzbild. Auch nach mehr mals waschen noch zu dunkel. Die spitzen sind außerdem viel heller obwohl ich mich genau an die Gebrauchsanweisung gehalten habe. Not what I expectedDuring the colour selection, I didn't have much of a choice on how light or dark I wanted to go and I was left with dark tone selections. I was hoping for a nice medium brown with golden tones to help cover up my brassy blonde balayage hair. However my hair has now turned back to a natural black which I am not a fan of at all. Not the colour I asked for!!I loved the idea of this service hence buying into it. When the package arrived it was exciting, aesthetically pleasing and personal! When I opened the colour to mix into the toner, the smell of the ammonia made my eyes water more than any box dye I've ever used. But that wasn't the issue. I asked for light brown. I've not got nearly black hair. I followed instructions perfectly and I've washed it a couple of times for fading. It's black. Not as good as I was hopingUnfortunately, my White hairs turned very light Brown (on dark Brown hairs) and There is no violet even a reflect. IT TURNED MY HAIR ORANGE, THE PRODUCT DOESNT LAST SO AT LEAST IT FADED IN 3 WKSDONT DO IT! DONT BE TEMPTED!! This product turned my hair orange. I am not kidding, my neighbor's 9 year old daughter said " Aunt Karen, why did you dye your hair orange?"----Out of the mouths of babes. I don't know what tempted me to stray away for Loreal after ten years but don't make the same mistake I did. When I wrote the company they gave no refund, no helpful hints, they just agreed to discontinued the regular repeat orders!! I washed my hair once to twice a day for 19 days and it had faded significantly. But man did I lose the hair. I would estimate my hair is at least 50% thinner than before I used this product. Fortunately I was able to use my Loreal again and my hair is back to normal. (color wise not thickness)! NO SPECIAL COLORIST just for me, NO REFUND, NO EMPATHY, NO HELP FROM THIS COMPANY. They could not have cared less when I wrote them! AGAIN PLEASE DONT BE TEMPTED TO TRY or you will CRY like I did for several days. Worst part, I had just started a new job!!!!!
