I think this kit as an alternative to being able to go to salon is perfect. Directions were easy to follow and since I’m a red, I was worried that the color would be wrong, but I was very pleased with the color and it has stayed through many washes. So much less expensive then going to salon. I going to keep using after salons reopen.

I was very happy with this color kit. Easy to follow instructions, felt customized to my requests and plenty enough to color to do my longer length. Color was demential and vibrant, covered my stubborn gray roots and the color has held up well.

I don't know how you colorists do it but it was perfect. I viewed the very helpful YouTube videos and application was a breeze. I'm not sure when my stylist is back to work so I will be placing a new order soon.

I haven’t colored my own hair in 20 years cause I’ve screwed it up one too many times! I didn’t have much of a choice in quarantine. Now, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the salon for coloring! My hair colored turned out so beautiful. It’s rich, shiny, and looks amazing!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Ich hatte erst Bedenken, ob ich das mit dem Auftragen auch hinbekomme, aber es ging leichter als gedacht. Die Haare waren so schön weich und super kämmbar. Toller Glanz! Und alle grauen Haare (es sind ein oder zwei sichtbar) wurden prima abgedeckt. Also, alles in allem absolut zu empfehlen

Great color and easy instructions to follow for my very long hair. I was forced to color my own hair during the lockdown and I realized that while convenient, going to a salon was way, way more expensive for something I can do myself. Plus, with the right tools and products I do an even if not better job. Thank you!

Thank you for saving me! My gray hair was grown to a point that I couldn't wait, besides my highlights were fading so the color wasn't looking nice. With my new color set, I covered my roots but also combed through the color and was able to tone down the yellow from my highlights, it looks now so natural. Very satisfied! I would like to send you the pictures but there is no option within this review section.

I was a bit skeptical about using this product but let’s be honest I’m sure most of us are. BUT and that’s a huge but- I am absolutely thrilled with the results. It ended up being a bit darker than I was expecting but I am 100% okay with it. It’s a dark brown but when the light hits it it has a red tint. At first I thought it wasn’t colored evenly or something but I did an awesome job at getting everything even (yay me! **back pat). Any time my hair moves it looks red. I can’t wait for a clear day to see what it looks like in the sun!

Thank you Mindy , my online hair colorist! The result is great, Just like the color I would get at the salon with a hair colorist but for far less money. I was a bit skeptical but so pleased with the results. It will save me a lot of money by coloring my hair at home. I asked my friend to help me since I cannot see in the back . I am really happy . I purchased this to cover my roots, which I have never done by myself before. It was a simple process, I did have a little help from my 14 year old. I have a ton of hair so it was hard to see if I was getting all of the glitter(grays) showing. I really liked the color, it was right on with my true natural hair color.

Ok I’m in. My husband colored my hair today and I’m so happy with it! Aveda salon no more when I can get this for a fraction of the price! I love that I had root color and all over color refresher! It’s amazing! I’m so happy! There is not a grey to be seen!

Very pleased with this product and how well my hair came out! Covered my gray very well and my hair looked like I went to a salon. Was really worried my hair would come out with a lot of red in it, Pleased to say it didn't not!! Yeah! I have never, ever colored my hair. On the recommendation of a friend who had great success with eSalon, I went for it. Nervous, I contacted them directly and spoke to the about my data entered. They tweaked my color and it arrived in good time. It sat on my counter until Friday after work and I started. I'm a 'newbie' at this so I would say any gray that wasn't covered was my own fault. My mid length cut doesn't hold up under clips well (short and long pieces) so I have a plan for next time. But the end result was beautiful. I ended up with a mellow dark blonde with warm highlights. Most of the gray was covered and as mentioned those that weren't I believe are user error. I will definitely use this product again.

I so enjoyed using esalon. The color was easy to apply. The instructions were easy to follow. I also found the How-To videos very helpful for first time users of product. My color treatment was matched perfectly. My hair felt soft and manageable after using product. The only problem I had was total coverage of gray hair in part of hair and front hairline. The hard gray area was colored but a lighter color in places. Those areas had not been colored for 2 months due to Covid-19. I was completely white in that area before adding esalon custom color. Any suggestions for complete coverage in hair part area for next shipment of esalon? I appreciate any advice.

I've always gone to the salon to have my hair colored and cut, but with the pandemic that was not possible. A friend told me about eSalon so I tried it out and I have to say I love the way my hair came out and so surprised that I had colored my hair myself! So proud of me!! My husband said "it looks better than when you went to the salon." I am loving eSalon!!

I was a little nervous, but with COVID19 quarantine, I desperately needed a color. I took the survey, sent in pictures and ended up with a perfect match. I had an issue with delivery (not really eSalon's fault), but the product finally arrived. Honestly, the color is beautiful and my roots perfectly match the rest of my hair. I have brunette hair with different color highlights and was very apprehensive to color my own hair. I took a chance and received the perfect color. It covered my grays and did NOT change my highlight color !!!! Smooth shiny hair and very little smell. I was very impressed!

I have never coloured my own hair, I always go to a salon. I wasn’t happy with the first colour I received, I asked for it to be adjusted and it is really lovely and I’m super happy with the colour now. I love it. I am a definite convert to home colouring.

It took me a while to pick out the color as I wanted to ensure a perfect match to my red/brown color. The pictures seem quite accurate as the one I chose is a perfect match. I also uploaded a photo of my color after my most recent salon visit. I only had to color my roots to cover the grey and it was pretty easy with the instructions, even completely by myself. I'd suggest if possible having an extra mirror to be able to see the back of your head if you don't have a friend to help. Plus, the kit is incredible with everything you need and I even loved the shampoo and conditioner. However, I would suggest shampooing your hair twice with dark colors as I was worried about it on my scalp and hairline. Definitely will do again - looks as good as the salon for hundreds less.

When I dye my hair I usually need 3 store-bought boxes to have enough to get all of my waist length hair. They sent me 2 bottles and it was more than enough. The results were amazing! It's so soft and shiny and it almost glitters in the sun. Their conditioner even stopped my waves from frizzing afterward which I've never had outside of a salon color session.
While there is a bleachy smell while processing (I was going lighter so the smell was to be expected) it's much less than any box dye I've tried.
