Once the kit arrived I used it immediately and am delighted with the colour and the ease of application. I missed a few bits sadly but down to my lack of skill rather than the kit will definitely order again.

Die Bedienungsanleitung sowie die Anwendung sind super easy und die Farbe ist einfach toll. Ich finde es toll, dass auch die Creme für den Hautschutz und der Farbentferner dabei sind. So habe ich keine fleckige Haut bekommen.

Never coloured my hair at home before and was terrified! I won't lie, the self application process is a bit fiddly, especially on hair with length. But I persevered and have to say I'm thrilled with the colour! A little darker and richer than my previous mix of blonde highlights and ghastly greys, but it's blended everything together and suddenly I have healthy looking, shiney, vibrant hair! A God send during lockdown when we all need a boost to our morale. Well done eSalon and colourist Paul! A fine product and great service! Look forward to the next shipment. Elaine

My natural hair colour is a mouse blonde and I dye my hair dark brown (level 4) which makes the blonde regrowth look grey. The colour I chose was a dark brown with mahogany and red. I was worried that an at home hair colour application would turn out patchy and uneven. The opposite is true- the evenness and colour saturation is of such a good quality. The amount you get in an order is amazing- from the shampoo and conditioner to the colour itself it is so worth the money. I blow dried my hair (I put in a heat protectant spray first) and my hair was so soft and shiny, which I was pleasantly surprised by and it felt so healthy. I was expecting my hair to feel like I had dyed it (when going to a salon my hair sometimes feels a bit stiff and artificial in feel) yet this wasn’t the case. Even if you’re nervous to dye your own hair at home, I’d say be brave and try it because it’s definitely worth it. I’m going to continue with the colour plan. Only criticism I have is that my roots are lighter than the rest of my hair but that’s expected as my re growth was really big but it’s only noticeable if you look closely. Overall, 5* quality and customer service.

I have not dyed my own hair in years and was very nervous about doing it on my own. The box and instructions were perfect! It took me some time and I have very long hair, so I did get dye on my arms and was not the cleanest person doing this. The dye came out of my arms in a day. The hair color was perfect and it has been 4 weeks and it still looks great!

I have never attempted to color my hair before. With my salon being closed and my hair in desperate need of a color lift I gave eSalon a try and so thankful I did. The process for creating MY color was following simple instructions on line. I was pleasantly surprised when my color arrived within a week. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Je suis très contente de ma couleur, c'était la 1ère fois que faisait une couleur à domicile et j'avoue, je suis aussi satisfaite que chez le coiffeur. C'est ma fille qui me la posée, je ne pense pas que j'aurais réussi à le faire toute seule.
De plus en raison du retard de livraison (3 semaines), j'ai eu un bon d'achat sans rien demander je trouve cela très commercial.

I was truly amazed by the packaging and product information having been a hair stylist and salon owner . I searched different companies and felt that this company offered the best product for I’ve never colored my own hair ! Farbergebnis war einwandfrei und war haargenau auf meine Wünsche angepasst, zumal meine alte restliche Haarfarbe von einem anderen Hersteller war, hatte ich ein wenig Zweifel, die sich aber nicht bestätigten, denn anhand des vorherigen Fragenkataloges, bezüglich Struktur des Haares, Grauanteil und Hochladen von Fotos, wurde meine Farbe genau angepasst. Die Farbe hat den Grauansatz perfekt abgedeckt und sich der alten Farbe 1:1 angepasst. Ich bin begeistert und kann eSalon wirklich weiter empfehlen. Das Abo finde ich praktisch und ist sehr flexibel. Gerade jetzt in dieser Ausnahmezeit, fand ich es genial, ich musste nicht mit einem grauen Haaransatz herumlaufen und hatte ein sehr gutes Gefühl.

Perfect! The color is perfect and my hair looks great! I'm unable to get to my salon right now to deal with my highlights and base color and my roots and regrowth were out of control! The medium blonde was perfect! I haven't colored my own hair in over 15 years!

Loved the color! The process was fairly easy (I normally go to the salon) and I'll definitely do it again. Maybe highlights or a little lighter next time. Not sure- but definitely happy with the product and the results!

My hair looks and feels amazing! This is the first time using two applicators of color (roots and ends). My hair is no longer dry and fly-away! I have been using these products for 5 months and my hair just keeps looking better and better. And the color is rich and vibrant with ZERO gray. I have such faith in these products that at the age of 65, I have decided to grow my hair past my shoulders. Stay tuned....I will post results monthly! I now have the hair that I craved in my 30's, 40's and even 50's Thank you e-Salon!

This in the first time I have ever colored my own hair. Due to salons being closed I have missed two of my appointments. The roots were about 3/4” grey. I reviewed the videos, did the sample test as instructed, liked the outcome and then took a leap and colored my roots today. I am pleased with the outcome! There were a few areas I missed and I was able to touch up after I had washed and dried my hair. I am a satisfied customer!

This is the first time I’ve ever coloured my own hair, and I couldn’t be happier. The instructions are extremely clear and the tools included in the kit are great. The colour is beautiful — as nice as salon colour, if not better. My hair is also much softer now.
Overall, great service from the eSalon team. Just a note that the delivery times are likely longer now because of COVID so you may wish to plan ahead (plus my kit was shipped to Canada).

I was hesitant...always had my hair done in a salon. I was a hairdresser for 18 years and remember all the color corrections I had to do from boxed color. I took a chance with eSalon. Matched my color, sent a picture of my hair and received the color. After giving my husband a crash course in color application I could not be happier. The color is perfect!!!

I am a first time user and ordered color to cover gray roots in my medium brown color hair that has highlights. The color was a great match and the instructions very easy to use. Because gray can be stubborn to cover, I left the color on about 8 minutes longer than the recommended 30 minutes. I love the results and will definitely continue to order color. My colorist did a great job fulfilling my request.

I am so happy with the quality of the color and the personal attention to detail. The color came out beautifully. You will like your color and clear instructions, particularly if you are new to coloring your hair yourself. If you have grey hair, this will cover it. And the shampoo and crème rinse they send makes your hair soft and shiny.

This was my first time using eSalon haircolor. I like that the solution is very thick, so less messy to use than other home coloring products. The only issue I had was that the application instructions were a bit unclear, but I've colored my hair before so knew what to do. I was absolutely thrilled with the color! It's every bit as nice as what I get in a salon: shiny, natural-looking, and it covered all my stubborn gray. I couldn't be happier with the results!

I had a lot of grey grow out ! This did the trick.. color was perfect and easy to use. Kept my highlights and gave me a warm over all color and covered the grey. I have super fine hair and it now has body and soft texture.

They’ve made everything essentially dummy proof. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and you have everything you need in the box. I have very curly hair and using this permanent color didn’t damage my curls one bit. I’d definitely recommend this to any of my friends

I haven't done a home colour for years, but now with all salons closed, I needed to do something to get rid of my ever growing white roots! I usually have a salon colour every 5-6 weeks. I have 100% grey roots with dark brown hair with caramel highlights. The colour was a bit slow in arriving due to the increased demand with lockdown but it is presented in a nice box with everything you need.
I was covering 8 weeks of growth and have very thick hair. They're was plenty of coloir/developer mix. The colour was a great match to my existing colour and gave a perfect grey coverage. I was very dubious as I've had some colours fail to cover my grey hair in the past.
I'm confident to continue with my home colouring while salons are closed following this experience

I recently asked to change my color slightly and was extremely impressed by the results. The directions were perfect and easy to follow. Because of this, I may try the highlights next! Good follow through by my colorist. I just gave the website to four friends!

I was very apprehensive about coloring my own hair, but I couldn't be happier after using the custom color. It was exactly the color that I wanted. My hair looks healthy and shiny, and the color has not faded at all. I will be a regular customer!

The instructions and kit were clear and thoughtfully laid out. The quality of color is perfect- covered my grey and the amount was just perfect to pull through to ends with my length of hair. My hair is soft and shiny after my first dying session, will see how it does over time. Over-all I am very pleased!

I love this so much! It is such an amazing company. Everything comes packaged so nicely, personalized and clearly labeled. I love, love ,love it and will for sure keep ordering. The dye was a beautiful color. I didn’t order hair clips the first time and if you don’t have them don’t make the same mistake! Order the hair clips. They are so helpful!

For the first time ever, I took the plunge to color my roots. The process was super easy and being able to upload photos of my hair helped ease my worries. The directions are very simple, very clear and the whole experience was better than I expected. Until I am ready to fully embrace my grey roots, I will be using Madison Reed's hair color.

I tried eSalon for the first time during the COVID-19 quarantine. I typically go to the salon every 3 weeks for root touch-ups as I am VERY gray. I went through the color analysis online and selected what I thought was “my color”. Thank goodness I uploaded pictures as upon review, my eColorist suggested a lighter shade for me, which has turned out to PERFECT! I couldn’t be happier with this process or the color team here at eSalon. Not to mention the savings - - even after having to tip my daughter who assisted me :)
I will say that while the color was on my head processing, it looked VERY dark (almost black)...and I was a bit nervous. But it really turned out great and matches my existing color perfectly. Thank you eSalon!

My very first experience with e salon has been even better than I expected! Everything, beginning with the profile questions, the ordering, the instructions and application, all the way to the finished look, was excellent! My colorist, Stefanie, was absolutely “spot on” with the color I was trying to achieve—and coverage of grey has been wonderful as well!
Definitely will order and use again—and will encourage my friends to try e salon for themselves!!

It was my first time going dark so after a day with the color I did appreciate that it was not too bright. It is a very natural color

I started going gray young so I've been dying my own hair with box dye for years, but as my hair has gone increasingly gray, the boxed dye just wasn't covering it anymore. I was beyond frustrated, and about to start spending ridiculous amounts of money at the salon to keep it covered until I found this site. I was a little hesitant to give it a try, but I'm so glad that I did.
The process was simple, the instructions are easy to follow, and the result is amazing! It completely covered my grays, turned out bright and shiny, and my hair actually felt healthier after the treatment. I've now gotten the initial color, and a second shipment for a root touch up, and I couldn't be happier.

The color is perfect! My hair is ridiculously soft and shiny after processing. 😍Customer service was great (after I made a typo on my own address) and got me my products very quickly. The little easy remove sticker to "sticker up" my instructions to the bathroom mirror so I don't have to touch it with gloves covered in product is a stroke of genius!

I am so happy with the esalon customer service team and their color. They formulated the perfect brunette shade with richness, depth, and shine. It has red and golden tones without appearing brassy or unnatural (which was what I was going for), and the level is perfectly matched with my existing color. I prefer the subtleties present in esalon's color to my original! Their willingness to listen to what you want is so appreciated. When ordering your color, provide specific information and let them know what your color is now. They will help you realize your color if they are able to get there from where you are. (It is not always possible to jump from one color to another, especially when doing this yourself at home)....I recommend esalon for their color expertise, color product, and customer service. I haven't tried other products yet and I will see how those go. So far sold on their color!

This is my second order from e-Salon, and the color was perfect, just like the first time. I'm really surprised at how natural the color looks, and how suited it is to my skin color. I will continue using e-Salon until I can get back in my salon, or even after. I often am out of the country, and sometimes I need to color my hair while traveling. I will use e-Salon if I can't get back to my salon early enough.

During this pandemic I was unsure how I was going to maintain my hair. Since I have dark hair with stubborn grays and I have a lighter base. There was no way for me to do a typical box color. So I tried esalon and the color came out great. I plan to continue to use it and I will be trying the highlight kit next. I have recommended this to my family and friends.

I have been coloring my hair myself for many years while going to a professional salon twice a year for touchups and a pro hair cut. I am 56 years old and 90%gray so covering the grays has always been a challenge and I usually have to keep the product on my hair for at least 45 minutes to an hour! This product was true to the instructions and not only is all my gray covered, my hair is silky soft as though I went to a salon!! Highly recommend!

I have been coloring my own hair for years but watching the videos for easier process was fantastic. My hair feels soft not dry afterwards. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants better color than what is available in a box at your store.

I was very anxious about using e-salon for first time. However, it has been an excellent experience altogether. Ordering was easy & fun to do, the order arrived on time & the process was simple. The best bit was the perfect colour & condition after use. My trepidation on looking in the mirror turned to joy. The colour and shine are second to none - as good as, if not better than my usual salon colour. Well done e-salon & thank you.

My hair color was perfect. No one noticed any difference in my color. The package and instructions were easy to follow.
My hair is thick. I was concerned that I may not have enough. I had extra.
