Highly recommend eSalon. Just started ordering when shelter in place orders were implemented. However, after receiving my first order and with the results I achieved, I will not be going back to the salon and spending over $100 to get my color done. I would encourage everyone who colors their hair to give eSalon a try.

Everything was very well done. Loved the color so much. Packaging was great and products were easy to use.
I think it’s product odor was a bit strong and the color faded a little more quickly than my salon color.
Having said that, I was very pleased.

This was the first time I dyed my hair myself and although I was a bit nervous and certainly hesitant, the results were fantastic! The color was perfect and it was so easy to do. I highly recommend this product. I am sure you will be pleased with your results too.

My hair looks great and the colour is perfect. Being trapped at home and with roots growing long made me feel a bit sad and they were getting increasingly hard to hide on video meetings. Whilst the dyeing your own hair bit of a faff I've got super results and recommend eSalon 100%. (I have long, fine, dark hair 25% grey and the colour is really rich, not at all flat, and my hair has stayed in good condition.)

This was my very first “ do it yourself” hair project since I was way younger. I loved the first impression the company made by it’s packaging and poem. It was easy and the color choice was perfect. If only my hubby saw the gray roots on top!!! Oh well, it was his first attempt. Next month he will do better. Thank you E Salon. As an RN in a busy hospital I do not have time to go to the salon every 3 weeks to color my gray. And having gray is not an option. Je n’ai pas les mots pour expliquer à quel point je suis ravie.
Je suis plus que débutante en matière de la coiffure, j’ai réalisé ma première coloration en salon il y a 2 mois, avant ça mes cheveux étaient nature.
Ce kit est fabuleux, idéal pour les débutants, produits d’excellente qualité ( d’ailleurs très amoureuse du shampoing et conditionner ), j’ai retrouvé exactement le même résultat qu’en salon voir mieux et moins cher!

I was so afraid to try anything on my hair. I only trust my hairdresser. Given the shutdown and my grey showing I needed to do something. So eSalon to the rescue! I actually had my husband help me, we had fun and my hair turned out great. My ends seem lighter than I like but over all I'm happy to try again at least one more time.

I have never colored my own hair before and I ordered my Custom Color in January 2020 and was afraid to try it. Lol. Well, now with the current situation with the stay at home orders I was desperate to get rid of my growing out grays and brassy old color. So I got my kit out and was on a mission! The packaging is amazing and I felt like I had my own mini salon here at home. The instructions were very easy PLUS I did watch a few tutorial videos on "esalon" site for courage. I was SO surprised that the color came out EXACTLY like the color I always get from my stylist. Even my daughter noticed that. It came out shiny, soft and beautiful. I especially was surprised how it did not burn my scalp during processing like the one at my salon does. I am very grateful that I ordered from "esalon" and gave them a try! Thank you for helping me pick the right color too! Bravo esalon!

The first one was a little too red but it was ok.
The second one is PERFECT! Like a dark brown with a little red, I love it.!

The products were easy to mix and everything was included in the kit. The color was easy to apply and the results were really amazing. It matched my hair color perfectly. I did not have any discoloration on my scalp and no hair breakage. The application process was easier since I had help with it. Its been 3+ weeks and I am still thrilled with the results and the brightness that it brought to my sheltered at home hair.

I always use my salon, I was very Nervous using a color seeing I have lots of highlights but my grays where getting really heavy at the root area and I refuse to use box color from the store. I have fine to medium, shoulder length hair, medium brown but with a lot of white/gray roots. I ordered the set, together with the cape. I had been purchasing drug store color to touch up my grays. When we started working from home in March and I knew I was going to miss the next salon appointment (or two) I went to esalon and placed an order. I could not be happier with the results. It was so easy and the color was beautiful. I have already recommended it to my friends and family who are also in need of some color help! I love my stylist and I'll continue to go to her, but this will be my go to for between visits, and I have to say that this color was (in my view) identical to what I get at the salon. Perfect color, beautiful shine and silky soft. No complaints.

I was nervous to try an on line hair dye but it is great . They used my info and brewed up the perfect color for me. The direction are easy to follow. The color was so much better then I had expected. With most hair dyes the color is monotone , this one seems as if there are subtle highlights and my hair is shiney and feels great!

I am so impressed with ESalon and their color. I was unsure of the exact color I needed so I reached out to a color specialist who guided me to a beautiful rich brown. Once receiving my color the instructions were so easy to follow. The results were just what I expected. Actually it turned out like my salon color or maybe slightly better. I did notice a couple of grays popping through around my face but not too bad. I am asking for a couple of slight tweaks for my next shipment. I am also trying out their highlights and color tint. I would recommend giving ESalon a try. It’s saving me hundreds of dollars and valuable time!

The e-color is perfect, and I am a little particular about it bec I don't wear make up and wear sort of neutral colored clothing so I like my hair a certain color. And, somehow through a stylist I've not seen, following some written directions, and by use of my own amateur hands....my color is perfect. Thank you!

This is my first time coloring my hair at home and it was relatively easy. The kit had everything I needed, gloves, application brush, shampoo/conditioner and gel to protect from skin coloring. The directions are very clear. I really like that all my white hair are nowhere to be seen and I got the strawberry color I wanted to change from my natural brown. Looks really good with my fair skin. Delighted!

If you are a true red head, starting to see gray, eSalon is fabulous. My own hair stylist, who is a "color specialist" consistently tells me excuses like: "Red fades fast; Red hair is difficult to work with; if you try to add highlights and low lights you'll risk looking like a peacock." She turned me into a beautiful medium blond, with a mix of honey and caramel highlights and low lights. Which was fun once. Every time I passed by the mirror I had to take a 2nd glance; "who was that girl?" and my husband was mad; "where's my red head?" "Don't ever go back to her!" "Will your red hair grow back in?" Luckily, it did, I didn't have a lot of gray back then. Next time she tried red's and coppers - she made a big line on my head. Everyone asked me if I colored my hair my hair myself and offered their hair specialist's card. I returned to the shop to get it fixed, my stylist asked another color specialist to work with me instead. She turned my hair dark mahogany. My hair matched my dining room table; terrible. To dark for my freckley, fair skinned complexion. My light blond eyebrows and eyelashes made me look scary without makeup. who wears makeup at home; come on! So, I tried several other salon's. Everyone turned me into bozo the clown, bright orange, red. I was disappointed, over and over. No-one could match my natural hair color. It did not matter how much I spent. I was desperate, I started using box colors, struggling, same as the color specialists; at least I wasn't paying $150 to $300 for each mistake. My husband, came home one day with a note: Try eSalon.com - a customer recommended to him; for me. That was in 2013. The color specialists adjusted the color till we finally got it right
I'm adding an update - it's year 2020 - Since then I've also added the natural blond highlights (automatic delivery with every 3rd color) - I continue to get compliments about my hair color. Even at the salon.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden! Die Bestellung war einfach, das Paket kam schnell an und der Inhalt war sehr ansprechend verpackt! Heute habe ich die Farbe aufgetragen! Super Konsistenz, Farbe tropft nicht, Geruch ist angenehm! Schönes Schwarz, mir persönlich zu wenig blaustichig, aber das lässt sich mit der nächsten Bestellung ja ganz einfach ändern. Sollte sich jetzt noch bestätigen, dass dieFarbe länger als vier Wochen so schön bleibt ( das habe ich in fünf Jahren selber Haare färben nämlich leider noch nie erlebt) habt Ihr mich als dauerhafte Kundin! Und ja, es ist ein Abo - das lässt sich aber ebenfalls ganz problemlos ändern!

Ok, so I was one of those girls that would only need to go to the salon. With the COVID-19 pandemic and not being able to go I thought...I can totally do this myself. I was so happy with the color! At first I wasn't sure because the rest of my hair color was so much darker, but overall its a softer brown that really compliments my skin tone, and blends perfectly with the rest of my hair. I was very happy with how it turned out. One piece of advice: if you can, get someone to help you. I had a hard time getting the back of my head, but my husband was able to and it worked out perfectly. I will definitely use eSalon again!

I had seen the reviews and thought that during lockdown I would give it a go. I didn’t expect it to match my colour, I mean how can they tell from a picture what my colour is. Well I received a few days ago and my daughter who is 15 read and followed the instructions to the letter. I have to say I’m so shocked at how good it is! I was concerned about matching the color to my existing shade but it matched perfectly. It was pretty easy to apply -- although I do appreciate my stylist's training. I ordered my kit in September and it took 6 months and a pandemic lockdown, to get the guts to color my own hair! I finally caved and I am pleasantly surprised at the result! I like the color as it pretty much hit my target and it feels good. I anticipated some damage with a DIY but to date, that has not been the case! I'm re-ordering!

First time coloring my own roots - I have brown hair with highlights (and lots of grey) and needed to cover my roots since I can’t get to a salon - loved my formula it covered my roots and blended well against my blonde and covered my grey. Highly recommend watching the how to videos.

The color is perfect and the products are awesome . Loved the shampoo and the conditioner . No itching at all after application. That's the best part. Normally all hair colors give me itching in scalp.

I am so happy what my hair turn into dark brown . My grey hair is been cover and absolutely you will purchased it again . So easy to apply no bad smell promise. I feel salon made my hair 😁.

This is my first time using this product and the first time I ever colored my hair myself! I love the outcome healthy an shiny looking! Don’t get me wrong missed a a spot in process can’t notice at all no fault of the product it was mine because I am new at this I took a photo in my account library I am Very happy!

Honestly, the product deserves five stars. I only took away a star for the packaging. Maybe that’s petty?
This color matched perfectly, and left my hair feeling soft and manageable. The instructions were simple!

I selected all-over dark blonde. It did not turn out as light as I had hoped, and it pulled a heavy amount of red tone to it. Thankfully, I'm alright with that. I am, on the whole, satisfied. I will order again!

I usually go to a salon monthly for color but, due to the pandemic, I'm staying home & giving this a try. I bought the kit to cover my regrowth. The color seems pretty close to my base color and it covered the gray. On first try, I'm pretty happy with the results.
To apply the color, I parted my hair into 4 sections and used the bowl & brush method. I used a front & rear mirror, but the back of my head was still difficult to cover uniformly. I highly recommend having someone help with the application to the back of the head.

Thank you esalon for creating a product that actually works. My hair is medium brown with many stubborn grays and whites. I prefer to be blonde and have always gone to a hairstylist to color my hair because the hair color needs to include a lightener in it for my brown roots. With COVID19 I was desperate so I ordered hair color and applied it and it worked!!! Over the counter hair color is not able to lighten my brown roots. It might color my whites but it is usually not able to cover my stubborn grays; hence, a dismal result. This hair color, however, is fantastic and the team did a great job reviewing my pictures to help me select the correct color. Bravo!!!

Dear eSalon... I haven't been able to see my regular stylist for several weeks now so I was getting desperate, and when I discovered your website I decided to give you a try. I colored my hair last night with your custom color (for the first time), and my husband (who is an engineer, NOT a hair stylist) cut it immediately afterwards (another first). I love, love, LOVE the hair color I received from you, and the husband didn't do too badly, either! (See new photos I've included on my info page on your website.) Hair salons are DEFINITELY an "essential business" in my opinion, and I'm thrilled to have discovered you! Thanks so much! :-)

I was very skeptical to order hair color on line but, not been able to go to the salon to get my hair done due to the quarantine (Corona Virus) I decided to take a chance and order anyway. I was Pleasantly Surprised how well my hair color turned out . The color matched perfectly and it looks professionally done. I will continue to get my hair color from eSalon!!! Great experience and grateful for the perfect match!

i just went from a light blonde to a dark brown and it turned out amazing! it was so easy to use and didn't take much time at all. everything is very personalized. I dye my hair different colors often, and this is the best color i've ever used.

Je n’avais jamais expérimenté la coloration à faire chez sois et surtout seule. Je ne suis pas déçue, le kit envoyé sur mesure fait sensation et il faut simplement suivre les instructions. De plus, le second kit pour les pointes et raviver les longueurs offert est au top. Il est certain que ma coloration maison et à la demande est un acquis pour moi maintenant, merci E ´Salon!

Le packaging, l envoi de la couleur sont parfaits.
La couleur a caché mes cheveux blancs ce que je recherchais en premier lieu. En revanche, il y a un reflet roux que je n aime pas trop. Je vais donc demander un réajustement au coloriste pour la prochaine fois. Sinon, le contact avec les coloristes est rapide et efficace, je recommande.
