I purchased this product because the over-the-counter hair dyes, just weren't covering the grays like they should. This product covers all the grays, gives my hair lots of shine, and I'm complimented on the color every time. So when I'm asked; "what I use"; I tell them "Esalon".

I am so happy with the results of my hair, I ordered a custom color to put at home, for which my daughter helped me and she was even impressed with the packaging, delivery and ease of application. I am loving the color I got it’s exactly what I expected. The best part is that it comes with everything you need including the plastic gloves for application, applicator bowl, hair clips, and time clock.
I cannot wait to do it again, very satisfied customer.

This is exactly the color shade I was going for. It turned out beautifully, it took evenly, and I'm really happy with the result. I'm impressed that I was able to get a salon-quality coloring or better at home on my own for such a low price. I will be using eSalon again

Color is perfect. No one has ever said. Did you dye your hair. It is almost perfect to my real hair color. I’m 70 but, do not have a lot of grey. And this turns out perfect every time. I have to make sure I cover roots only. And results ( perfect).

My color was made just for me and I love it. It takes a little more time to do than a cheap drugstore box, but much less time AND money than a salon. The instructions and application videos are so helpful. Super messy in the shower, but able to clean up easily after. The color lasts and stays rich between my colorings.

Used for the first time today. The best hair dye I have ever used, no nasty smell, the mixture is thick and does not run off. Little disappointed it did not cover all my grey, but would definitely recommend.

I’ve been using eSalon hair color & conditioning products for quite a few months now, and I am always pleased with the results I get. Since I live in Hawaii, my hair takes a beating from the sun & humidity, and has a tendency to bleach out quicker. So I’ve had to change my color formula recently, which was quite easy! A quick phone call and conversation with a colorist and a new formula is made up. I just tried it, and I am shocked at how good it came out. They had warned me not to be concerned by the name, just to trust that it would take care of the brassiness, give it some depth, but without changing the basic color too much. It’s absolutely perfect! The best part is that it costs me a fraction of what a salon job here on the island would charge! Thank You, eSalon... you’re the best!

I am so happy with esalon! For the same amount of money I used to spend on drugstore hair color I get custom color and expert advice for free. I chose a color and really was unsure about it. I received an email from a esalon colorist suggesting a slightly different shade and it's perfect. Thanks so much for the great customer service. I will never guess at a random color from a drugstore again.

I've coloured my hair for a long time - a very long time - and been round and round trying to find the perfect colour: mixing different boxes of colour, adding this and taking away that - in other words, experimenting on my hair! Didn't always get the results I was looking for and yes, I've turned my hair orange!
Thank heavens I found esalon an decided to give it a try. The colour is always wonderful and love that I can change the shading - or even the entire colour - if I want. And they do it right, no more experimenting for me! I also love their other products. Still in the process of finding the combo to make my hair perfect again, but whatever I try always makes some kind of improvement.
Last - I love that I can ask a question and there's always a real, living, breathing person giving the answer. And they REALLY seem to care! Like they want my hair to get where I want it nearly as much as I do. No tricks to keep me buying more products, either! I trust them and that means a lot.
Thanks esalon. you're great!

I love my color! I am super picky about my hair color and religiously had a salon appointment every 5 weeks to cover my greys...... until my stylist canceled on me twice. I was desperate and didn't want to do a supermarket box color. I followed the easy instructions and ordered my color. I was nervous because my greys are more white and my stylist struggled with my roots coming out "hot". When I received my color I crossed my fingers, said a prayer, and put it on. I love the results! The color is better than my salon color. Full rich root coverage. My hair feels amazing! I have gotten so many compliments on this color! Love, love, love!

I put in a request to go down a shade or two and add a little more warmth. I am not trying to lightenen my hair just match it better.

I've been coloring my hair for over 35 years. I know what items to buy from my local Beauty Supply store to color my hair, but now I don't have to. I created my own color based on what color I had previously used and the changes I had wanted to see. My eSalon Custom Color Set is perfect! I get everything I need in one little box. There isn't that horrible stink that most coloring kits have. I've received a lot of compliments, even from my hair dresser!

Love love love my color!! It goes great with my skin tone and is long lasting. I always get compliments on it. I am so glad that I took a chance and went with this company and this concept. This has saved me TONS of money. My hair stylist isn’t happy about it (lol) but even she remarked how great it looks and how healthy my hair is. My best friend puts it on for me. It’s a WIN WIN!

I love using esalon. The convenience of ordering online with my busy schedule is great. I update shipping frequency based on the # of times I change my coloring needs anywhere, anytime. So convenient and hassle free. I am a creature of habit and try to have the frequency of my color shipped right when I need it, but if I need to change its all online. No waiting for an automated system prompting what to do next in a phone call.

I have used “drug store” colors and had my hair professionally colored. Esalon is a great mix of both worlds. The convenience of at home, any time of day coloring with the color and quality of the color comparable to a Salon. Best of all, my color arrives on my doorstep.

First time coloring with esalon, and have to say I’m very impressed! I’ve colored my hair many times both at home and at the salon, and esalon is a really nice, affordable and convenient hybrid of the two. It really is salon quality color, but without the long appointment or high end salon pricetag. My color is shiny, has excellent coverage on my grays, and is exactly the shade I expected from the online quiz. I called the support line with a question before getting started and they were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I never would have thought of going to a dark blonde since my natural color is light to medium brown. I always had to leave my color (over the counter) on too long to cover the gray & it always came out too dark for me. I love the dark blonde color they set me up with. My hair is soft & I love it! I am getting the color 1 shipment at a time, since I don't care for auto shipping on anything. But I may have to change it to auto ship!!

I sent a picture and my consultant mixed the perfect color match! I’ve used other professional color at home but none of them come out as shiny and vibrant as theirs! Idk why that is!?? So to me it’s worth the extra$ it might cost to pick up all the components yourself- the color system they use is just superior to others!

I am very happy with the results of my color! I am so glad I found this site! First I ordered what I thought would be a great color, I am glad I sent a picture of myself though. They recommended a different color because of my skin tone. I am very glad I listened, the color is awesome. My boyfriend of 6 years told me it makes me look very different and quite a bit younger cause it seems like my natural color (which he hasn’t seen since Ive dyed my hair myself trying to chose my most natural since before him, always failed) , I told him it IS my natural! They succeeded in something I’ve tried for years! Store bought colors are not for me anymore!
The staff is awesome! They were there for me every step. I love esalon!

Not only is this amazing color that stays quite a long time and covers the gray wonderfully but my hair has stopped falling out. When I use the over-the-counter hair colors I would lose handfuls of hair daily in the shower. My hair is no longer falling out and it looks fuller and the color is beautiful! I would recommend it to anyone!

You know you're on to something great when your stylist says your hair looks great. I have gone to a salon for color and paid $140/month for many, many years. I decided I had nothing to lose by at least trying this service. I can't believe that I actually like it BETTER than going to the salon for color. I feel silly for spending all of that money for so long. This is really good stuff and the support for adjustments, ideas is wonderful.

I thought I would try this novel way to get custom color. Guess what? I LOVE it. The items are very well packaged and I love the fact that the instructions, etc., are customized with my name! How cool is that. The color takes great. I have been coloring my hair for many years myself so am especially impressed at this system. I get professional results at home. And the support is fantastic. I will never go back to store boxes again.

Love my color and it lasts longer..... but really I don't color my hair often. Maybe twice a year lol It's great tho if you color often, have a thick head of hair or love to change your color often. :) Go for it!! You only live once and hair (usually) grows back... lol

So far so good..! (been coloring without problems for 38 years, but then - 1 accidental lightening episode ..😣😕🧐🤓🤪.... ) I'm normally a very dark, ash brown, almost a gray black. My family has little gray even into our 70's, if we're healthy, and I'm 56 with just a few gray/white hairs around my ears and creeping over the top of my head. I like my dark hair and don't match gray very well... (hate getting old, too!), so ..
so - So - I’m sure this accident of my red roots with long, blackish-red ends, as the base that I’m testing eSalon on, will be a bear to grow out, 🐻🐻🐻
- but - after just doing the temporary, eSalon treatment tonight, I like what I’m seeing... I ordered Darkest Brown, Matte-Ash to obliterate the red, and gradually grow out and eliminate the blacker long hair with lightening. Basically, a double-down treatment of naturally bringing my roots back to normal, letting my hair just grow out the black, and also lightening up, toward the roots, to get black out, as well.
The color is really still a bit too red for me, but I am happy that my roots are closer to an ash brown. Because I wear long layers, and curl my hair, I don't ever get "hmm.. what's with the color, Tanya..?" from anyone.. Just "man you have the most gorgeous hair!! I know you by your hair! I could tell it was you by your hair!"......
If I mess anything up, I just let it grow out and use a wash-out color to blend the mistakes. But this one is the biggest one I've ever done... LOL.. whew..
I missed a few grays right by my ears, which is not like me because I go there, and my forehead, firstly, and I know I saturated them very well... I'm thinking what I really should have done is kept the color on for at least 30 minutes, knowing my hair, but I followed the instructions of 10 on roots, and 5 on ends. I did a little longer, but not 30 minutes. Next time, i will go the full 30.

What I like about this is there is someone who follows up and if you want to change your color it's easy. They also contact you before getting your color ready to make sure you are ready for a new set. Plus my color consultant really cares about my color outcome, by sharing her concerns. I love my new color it's a little bit lighter and that's ok. Thank you!

I didn't think I could colour my own hair, but with the instructions and a bit of help from my boyfriend I managed to make it perfect. I love my colour and my hair is so soft and shiny! Definitely great product for the price :)
