I have been using eSalon coloring for over 5 years now. I like that they will blend a color to what you ask for and also deliver it to the door. I have made a few adjustments over the years and they are good at trying to get the color the way you like. I have not seen any damage to my hair from using this color and most of the time it is really great. The times it is not might just be because i needed to color sooner than i thought and i just used a touch up kit from the store.

I cannot say enough about this product. After my first application I was in love. There are variations in the color especially in the sunlight. Not just one solid color. The shade is perfect, my hair feels and looks so healthy, and every day I get compliments. What more could a girl ask for?

I've been coloring my hair or having it colored for over 20 years (since I was 14!) so I know my way around a bottle of developer. I found the kit to be incredibly helpful and LOVED that it came with stain guard, two sets of gloves, a good quality brush, and stain remover cloth... even a sticker to hold the instructions up on my mirror! Color on my hair pulls extremely orange-red, and most colorists have to try 1-2 times with my hair in order to get all that brassiness out of even ash-neutral colors. Esalon seems to have gotten it right first try! There was no red tinge to my color, which was a huge improvement over drug store brands. I was also very pleased that leaving the color on for 30 minutes covered my extremely stubborn grays, which usually require a 45-minute process at the salon. AND, the color didn't irritate my scalp like salon color.
The only two drawbacks were the odor & the instructions. First, the odor was extreme... more overpowering than anything I've tried in the drugstore aisle and salon. I have an enormous bathroom so it wasn't a ventilation issue... the color just seemed legitimately noxious. My eyes and nose burned when I first began mixing it on the countertop... I almost didn't use the color because I feared it would irritate my skin. But once the color was mixed, it was fine with the bathroom fan on and double doors open.
The second issue was instructions. My instructions suggested applying at the roots only and then adding water to the leftover color and massaging into my ends for 2-3 minutes. I was a little skeptical about this but did it anyway, and I'm glad I did. I think the water/massage trick helped blend what would have been a pretty serious line of demarcation where the old color met the new. I wish I would have ignored the instructions in this case and applied the color from root to tip on this very first color. Oh well... I'll do that next time and then from that point forward should only need a root touch up.

I decided to take a chance to go darker than I have been. I was afraid because I was so scared my color wouldn’t come out even but the instructions were super easy to follow and it turned out great!

This is my 2nd bottle of color and my 2nd time to fall in love with this brand. Love everything about it. The packaging is wonderful and convenient. The smell is actually pleasant and not at all obtrusive. It washes out and my hair is so shiny and beautiful. The coverage and quality of color is superb!

I love, love this product. I should say products because of the conditioner. The best I have used. The color turned out so beautiful. I liked it when I first tried it but this time it's better. You don't get that dry, brittle feeling after coloring your hair with this product. I definitely recommend it and will definitely use it again.

So far color has been made perfect for my hair. It really helps the more information you share and clear pictures of your hair in direct sunlight and in shadows too. If your hair tends to go to a certain color, if its dry or oily etc. For the price i am really happy with this product!

Didn't expect to much from this product! as i have stuborn grey roots!!! and i always struggle with

I must say...I was very skeptical when I ordered my first coloring kit. It turned out to be the best product I've ever used. This is not just hair color; it's professional "hair color"! Once you use it I promise you will never go back to regular box color, or even pay a big price at a salon. It is that good!

My friend suggested I try eSalon. Why not? It was a fabulous experience. I received many emails with suggestions or details about how to apply the color when I received it. I received many follow up emails making sure I was satisfied. Normally I do not want constant emails, but these were certainly appreciated. The product came in a cute box. Yes, I am that person marketing people want. The directions were clear. The product was easy to use and so affordable. I'm excited for month 2!

My color was perfect. I highly recommend this product. Also if you are unsure about a color go demi permanent! That’s what I did and it washes out alittle bit each time so if you are unsatified it’s not a long time to get it fixed. First time dying my hair and I’m super excited to switch to permanent and stick with it.

Over all the presentation and the product are amazing. It felt like receiving a treat in the mail and took the sting out of the dreaded grey hair maintenance routine I dread every few weeks! Customer service was top notch! I was able to customize my order and make a few changes for my next order. My colour came out a little darker than I wanted but the colourist was able to make changes to my next order to rectify that. Also My colour has not faded too much as it does with most brands for me and is holding up well 3 weeks on! Love it!!

I used to pay an arm and a leg for a professional to color my hair only to be left with dry lifeless strands that started losing the color after a few weeks. This esalon is the perfect color and my hair is healthy and shiny! 5+ stars from me.... thank you for giving my hair life again

I have used this product several times now and I don’t usually write reviews but it really has made my hair soft and so shiny that I had to write this I have been dying my hair for several years myself I’ve never had it done at a salon but this does give you that shine that a salon color does at a fraction of the cost and it comes with the shampoo and conditioner which I really like also Don’t hesitate to try this I believe you like myself will love it.

I can't believe how wonderful my hair turned out. The kit was so easy to use and had everything I needed including two pairs of gloves! The color is so rich and the gray coverage is 100%. I never knew what color to truly buy when it came to box colors and being able to add my personal details and photo to my profile made my personal color chosen perfect for my skin tone. I love this product!

This is my first time ever dying my hair, but when I started noticing the grey, I had no choice. So I debated for months, and decided on esalon. I knew the color was darker than my normal color, but it came out rich, multidimensional and beautiful!! I love the results, and it only cost me $10 for my first order! Do it! You won’t regret it;)

Tweeked the color this time to remove some of the brassiness. Came out great. Gray is colored and hair’s so shiny. The color kit is high quality right down to the gloves they provide. Love the shampoo too.

Even though I accidentally mixed both bottles together my color came out very even! The smell and feel of my hair after washing and conditioning was lovely! It came quickly and was very easy to do. Can't argue the price either!

The headline says it all. These guys are great. Its taken me a little while to figure out how to use the highlights, and it's difficult to do the back on my hair very well... I guess I would appreciate more tips on that. But I love this service - its inexpensive, high quality hair coloring, and I can do it according to my schedule!

I was using Loreal Feria color 74 deep copper. It is just never available anywhere, even a on their site. I was panicking. I love that color, it is kind of my signature thing. A friend suggested esalon. The other hair color site I looked at just didn't have my shade. I am so thankful. The color they sent me is a dead on match to my hair color. So pretty and bright. Now I will order every 3 weeks and know that my color is always there! Thank you!

For an online service it's great. Don't need to worry about picking up a dye and it being in stock, it comes to me and the treatment leaves my hair coloured and feeling moisturised

I was spending so much money coloring my hair when a friend recommended I try eSalon. While it took a couple of times to perfect my color (due to stubborn grays) the colorist was so awesome and easy to work with. I love my color, it's salon quality and lasts. Definitely recommend eSalon for your hair color needs. Their customer service and colorists are top notch!

I have not had the time until today, 4/27, to color my hair. The shade of red is perfect! I thought that I had the back pretty well covered, but there is one area that I didn't quite cover. I came across eSalon via Facebook and I never really wanted to color my hair... But then I fell in love with the copper hair color and I just wanted to try it. So I ordered the dark blonde copper golden color. It was very nice. It looked really natural and I received a lot of compliments for it. I decided that I could get more into the copper so I asked if they could adjust my next order and make it a bit more intensive copperish. Said and done. They worked very quickly and with my next order I received my new costum color. I LOVE IT. It is soooo beautiful. And it ist pretty easy to apply too. I could do it all by myself. It took me a lot longer than it should have but it worked out anyway. The shampoo and conditioner are so great. They make the hair so soft and shiny but it doesn't look heavy and doesn't get greasy fast. It is very light and my curls are beautiful! So thumbs up!! I am totally gonne stick with this color.

Noticed immediately a very nice shinny deep black color that seeemed very natural looking at the same time compared to store bought. Hair came out soft and clean feeling.

I discovered eSalon after my sister started using it and I gave it a try. My personal colorist helped me adjust the color after my first use and it’s the best thing ever! It’s so easy to use the color system with their easy instructions and pro insider tips and my favorite thing is that it comes to my house. The shampoo and conditioner included are great quality and my hair loves the attention! I recommend eSalon to everyone that compliments my hair and to every mom I know because we need all the extra time we can save plus the cost can’t be beat! Do yourself a favor and try it, you’ll be thrilled just like me!

I've been coloring my hair for well over 25yrs and have tried numerous products and brands, this is by far the most cost effective and best ever coverage I have seen. My biggest cons are that my hair grows incredibly fast and needs coloring every 3-4 weeks and my husband desperatly wants me to go natural which means that I would be 92% gray/silver at only 46yrs old. Not Ready! Keep it coming eSalon, forever yours!

Have had salon colorist for years. Saw eSalon in a magazine ad. Very happy with product. Great match, great gray coverage, seems to have more high and low tones than premium box colors. Best DIY hair color I’ve ever had. eSalon Colorist matched it to a box color I used to love that was discontinued years ago. Spot on! Highly recommend. Excellent Customer Swevice too!

The starter kit was awesome and complete! I love the results of my color and the texture left in my hair! I was a little worried that dying my hair would dry out my ends and cause split ends (like some have before) but it was not an issue at all.
