This was the first time I have colored my own hair. I have had color and highlights in my hair for 20+ years. I am 58 and have a few grays. The instructions were easy to follow. The color was a perfect match. My close friends said my hair looked as if I went to a professional. My biggest fear was that this kit would dry out my hair. After using the hair color, my hair remained soft and conditioned. The cost savings are incredible. I recommend eSalon to everyone.

This product is so customized that I don't know if my review will be relevant to others, but I will say that having provided a photograph and an explanation of the state my hair was in… eSalon did a great job of sending a color that worked perfectly. It's exactly what I wanted.

I've been colouring my hair since I was 14 and can honestly say this is the best colour I've used in all that time. The assessment for colour was spot on and the colour matched exactly with my request although if I ever fancy a change I can request that too. People don't believe I colour my hair as it looks so natural and multi-tonal rather than that flat colour that salons seem to give and as my colour comes out exactly the same every time I redo my hair, there is no telltale change as comes when you can't get the same brand of shop colour as before or the manufacturers tweak the formulas. Having detailed instructions on how to colour, including timings for application which other hair colours omit, makes it much easier to judge how long to leave the colour on and I've never had that slightly darker than normal colour that has happened with shop colour in the past. I also enjoy the peace of mind knowing my colour will arrive when I want it and I can adjust the timings if necessary rather than having to stockpile my store colour in case it's not available when I need it (as has happened in the past).

I loved the esalon kit. It came with absolutely everything one needs for coloring and made the whole process so easy! I loved the color, it covered gray with excellence and matched my natural color perfect. Thanks eSalon!

I was thoroughly impressed with my chosen hair colour it l it felt more conditioned. and lasted longer than any shop brought one and my hair stayed softer. I would recommend E-Salon to as many of my work colleagues as possible it is the closest I have come to salon colour that lasts but at an affordable price. You choose and write what colour you want and they make it to your specifications and it is just like walking out a salon but in the comfort of your own home.

The new highlight kit is a game-changer. I'm always up for trying new things, and this made it so fun! Not to mention that it looks amazing. I've gotten a ton of compliments and "I can't believe you did that yourself" comments.

I have been doing my own hair since the 1960's. Each time my color would be different. This product came and is the exact color that I want and it was soft as well. I am hoping that the color will always be the same each time. I will be ordering this product regularly as well as the shampoo and conditioner. Was easy to do and did not smell too bad either.and covered the gray as well.

The color works great. It lasts longer than any other color I have used. I am 46 with totally gray hair and I used to be dark redish brown hair. The color we chose I love and is very natural.

Hey, it was $10, so I gave it a try! So glad I did. Best color experience I've had since I stopped going to my long-time stylist when I moved away. This is not your drug store boxed color where you spin the wheel and hope for the best. My hair looks great! Instructions easy to follow, tools worth the additional cost. Very happy I took the plunge! Thank you!

I was so excited to receive my custom colour and was not disappointed. Colour was perfect for, instruction simple and easy to follow.

the color kit comes w all the things i need. it even has color shield, stain remover, just in case, shampoo and conditioner, two pairs of gloves and lots more. i have used three time now and found color does not turn brassy like most other hair color products do w my naturally slightly reddish hair. no overly gaggy amonia smells either. great instructions for a professional looking job. very pleased. i have gotten many compliments on my hair since switched to esalon.

I'm very impressed with my first use of esalon. My hair looks glossy and shiny afterwards, feels very nourished and the colour blended really well. Was much easier to do that I thought and came with great instructions. I've made a slight amendment to my color and the customer services team couldn't be more helpful - very impressed.

Love having my customized color delivered right to my door every 8 weeks. I have only had to make one or 2 minor adjustments to the color in three years. Much more affordable than getting my color done at a salon. Esalon customer service has been amazing since day 1 - so helpful and quick to solve any issues.

I have been using eSalon for a couple of years now and I have never been tempted to return to salon treatments or using grocery store brands. The color has depth and the color looks authentic on me. When I went to my high school reunion, the woman who we all thought was so beautiful, took pictures of my hair to show her stylist. Wow! Keep up the great work and thanks for giving me back the time I spent in salons.

I am on my 4th order and so far very happy with the product. My hair feels a little "straw-like" when I first rinse, but the shampoo and conditioner they provide brings it right back to soft and manageable. Colorist has been responsive to my questions and requests.

I have spent $$$ at salons trying to achieve the perfect shade of copper blonde but it never seemed to hit the mark. Today I did my first esalon order and it is spot on perfect! Love everything about this product and will be a repeat customer!

The color was perfect the first time! My colorist suggested starting with a shade lighter than the one I chose, and I'm glad I took her advice. It's only been a few days since I used the product, so I can't yet speak to how well it holds up, but I'm impressed so far!

After years of using store bought dyes and one costly mess up (purchased a cheaper dye and ended up paying a salon almost $200.00 to repair the problem), I took a chance with eSalon and I will never use a store brand again!
I absolutely love being part of the process and I feel like the colorist really listen to the feed back and make the adjustments I want.
My first order the color had a bit more red to it than I wanted, I asked for less red and my second (and now third) orders have been the perfect color!
I would highly recommend eSalon to anyone who dyes their own hair.

I have to say, that I was a little bit worried in changing my look. From red to brown. My box had my name on it, which made me feel really important. All the details and instructions were great. Before aplying the brown I have to say that I did removed the red colour with B4 colour removal. The result is way much better than I imagined. A great light brown. It is a great feeling to know that I just have to wait a month to receive my next order and that I don´t have to read articles and videos, in order to understand and know what to do as a next stept.

I've been salon coloring for many years. eSalon has made it very easy to color my own hair. The color is perfect and you can't tell that I no longer go to the salon. I would certainly recommend eSalon to anyone.

I am loving my color. The color itself looks great. I love the original recommendation my stylist made based on the picture of my existing color. I like the ease with which this can be applied. I also like the cost. I am needing to dye my hair more often than ever, and this is the only affordable way for me to do that.

I have been using eSalon professional color for several years. I have always gotten the exact same results every time I color my hair. No more brassy blonde or uneven tones. Since I started with eSalon, my hair is shiny, soft and healthy, which was not always the case when I had it done at my hairdresser.

Using eSalon was fun and easy and the color I received was amazing. I am very impressed. I went from a boring dish water blonde to a medium blonde with beautiful copper tones. I can't believe how natural it looks! I am having the color adjusted a bit to make the coppery-red tone more intense so I can look even more sassy. I can't wait to apply the next custom color. My friend say I look 10 years younger! Way to go eSalon!
