My first kit did not cover the gray roots so I contacted the company and they sent another kit free of charge. The second kit was a different formula to cover my grey and it worked out great! I love the color and the coverage. Instructions were complete and the whole process was surprisingly simple. I will use them again.

This is the first time using esalon. I had already placed my order when I came across so many negative comments. I was beginning to think I had wasted my time and money. I did my color today and I love it! My hair is soft and has a shine. The old highlights and gray are covered, and the color is I had expected.

This hair color did exactly what I was hoping for at a very reasonable price. It darkened my non-grey hair just enough. My hair looks very natural, but no longer "mousy."

I love this hair color and the coverage of my gray. My stepdaughter helped me with application, following the instructions pretty exactly. My hair looks like I came from a salon! I highly recommend eSalon, and will continue to use this color regularly!

Aged 44 with a few greys at my temples I was happy to never colour my hair but was persuaded by your page to try. Wonderful product, easy to use, I'm such a novice but result was an even rich dark brown, no greys, felt so good to see the new me, demi-permanent so can see how I feel in a few weeks!!

I was a little skeptical ordering hair dye online at first but I decided to give it a try and I am so happy I did. Everything about eSalon surpassed my expectations. I was most impressed when my box came and how custom everything was. The color turned out exactly how I wanted it to and my hair still feels incredible. I don't know how they make their money because the value in the box was way more than I paid for. I will be purchasing from eSalon again!

This product gives total gray coverage! It has given me freedom from going to the salon every 3 weeks on top of saving me money!
However I do use Pureology hydrate shampoo & conditioner due to I am 54 years old and having very long hair to my waist, I feel it works best for me.
Customer service is and has alway been five stars.

I hadn't personally colored my hair in years; the past 7-8 years I had only gone to a stylist. I was a little hesitant, but eSalon had gotten very good reviews. The product was easy to use. My husband was a champ to help me. He did great. The hair color REALLY matched my hair. I had selected one color while the consultant had suggested a slightly different color. The consultant was correct. It looked very good and has lasted very well. It has been 9 weeks.

Love, Love, Love this service. Don't get me wrong, I love my hairdresser, but I don't love the prices they charge for something I can do myself. I have long hair and get charged more even if it is just the roots they are doing and eSalon and its products have allowed for me to do my own with a top quality product. thank you for this great product and service.

I love this hair color! I was slightly confused by the two bottles I received, but when I read through the instructions, it made perfect sense: 1 bottle for my grays, and 1 bottle for the rest of my hair. The bottle for my gray hair was slightly darker than the bottle for my rest of my hair; that way, it all blended together perfectly. No more two-tone hair! Easy to apply, no harsh smell, and my color looks amazing! I will so purchase again!

My natural hair color is dark brown but has always been dull. My custom color is a deep dark brown with a mahogany shade mixed in. It's is soft, shiny, covers all of my stubborn greys & outlasts any color I have ever tried. I love it!

I'm so impressed with my hair colour, it is just what I want and if I want a different colour I just let them know and it's done. I would never go any were else now.

I came to eSalon after having to cut down costs on regular hair colouring, and it came recommended by a couple of friends. I found it easy to apply, although of course a bit messy, and it covered my hair really well. The colour is excellent.

Gray coverage last longer than any hair color I have tried, even professionally done. The color matching is amazing. I now have the color I did 15 years ago and I love it.

I used the kit I was sent to touch up my roots myself for the very first time last week. I am recovering from surgery and visiting my hair stylist was out of the question. I admit I was a little nervous about trying this product. I am excited to announce that I am 100% satisfied and completely confident in recommending this product to others. After filling out a simple survey and attaching a picture of my own hair, I received my first box of color designed specially for me, complete with everything I would need to retouch my roots. The color sent to me was a perfect match to my professionally highlighted hair and I was astounded at how easy it was to apply. I am a happy and excited new customer!

I love the shade of brown this hair color product gives me. It looks more natural than the other colors I was using. After using it twice now, the compliments I get are nice to hear.

I absolutely love having the ability to pick and choose what hair color I want and having a team of colorist at my fingertips to ask questions. I have been using eSalon products for over 3 years now and it saves me A LOT of money and time. I personally love being able to do my hair in my home during the time frame that works best for me.

I've been coloring my hair for 15 years or so using off the shelf but respectable brands and the color was NEVER consistent. It seemed like the luck of the draw sometimes. I have been using esalon for several months and the color is exactly what I wanted. I sent a picture and then initially chose a color that the esalon advisor thought was darker than I wanted based on the picture I sent. She was right and the color I get each time is perfect. The results are consistent, it's easy to use, it always comes on time, and it does not damage my hair. In fact, I think my hair looks healthy, shiny and young!

Great advice, service, and product. Super easy to use. After highlighting my hair for 20+ years I am having so much fun with my natural healthy look and saving hundreds of dollars a year!! I tell everyone who is considering abandoning the dreaded all day at the salon process to check eSalon out. Oh, and the complements keep coming.... that's just a bonus ;)

Went to stylist in NJ for years. When I moved to GA she gave me my formula. eSalon was able to match her formula on the first try. No one noticed the difference.
Covers my mostly white hair perfectly, and the shampoo and conditioner they send along with the kit are exceptional.
I get my hair professionally cut now. But I won't waste my time getting it colored. I can do it at home and not waste my time hanging in a salon waiting for my color to take.

I live in an area where salons are very, very expensive. I just cannot go to a salon to have my hair colored/brightened/grays covered every couple of months. I am so happy to have found esalon. As the seasons change, I just let them know what small adjustment to make to my color and it comes out perfectly every time.

This is the second time I have used this custom hair color. It is freaking amazing! It covers up my grey hair which is framing my face (of course) and blends in perfectly with my natural red hair color. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find a perfect match to my red hair? This is an amazing product, and is 90% less money than when I used to go to a salon. Everyone who knows how to shampoo their own hair can do this! Try it! You definitely won't be disappointed!!

My hair is in such good condition after dying it, even as the red fades out it still leaves a nice chestnut shade which my hairdresser complimented on!

I didn't use my first order for three weeks because I was afraid it might be brassy or orange which I've had happen all too often. On the cusp of becoming a grandmother (or Gigi as I like to say), I knew I couldn't go into it looking like a grandma! The color makes me feel young and sexy again, not like I should be on the porch with my knitting! I plan to be the coolest Gigi in town! Thanks so much for giving me my oomph back!

I have used this product 3 times. After the first try I was able to adjust the color and am very happy with how it turns out. I no longer deal with super light roots in comparison to the rest of my hair. I highly recommend it.
