Nicht mal Friseur war ich so happy.....entweder war das braun zu dunkel oder zu rotstichig. Jetzt bin ich gespannt wie lange sie hält , wenn mich das auch noch überzeugt, werde ich nie wieder eine andere Farbe benutzen.

I had been trying rinses but it just didn't do the job, I was too afraid to use a box color , I bought tinted hair gels, nothing worked. eSalon stepped up and sent me the perfect color and the grey hair is pigmented again! lol

I’ve not been able to get to a salon for about 16 months due to pregnancy, covid lockdowns and then a new baby in tow. I used to go every 2 months so as you can imagine my hair felt terrible grey roots, faded ends and over dyed patchy sections in between. I saw Esalon on Instagram and thought ‘why not’. Quick questionnaire later and with my colour selected I then got a message from one of the colourists telling me it was too dark for my skin tone. I always seem to pick a colour too dark and feel disappointed after so was delighted they intervened. I watched the how to videos carefully, followed the instructions to the letter sectioning my hair into 4 sections and carefully working through each one. I’ve got long hair which is dark at the roots and the ends have really become quite bleached in the sun (accidentally so) so I used the root touch up and then the ends refresher and did precisely what they told me to in the instructions and hey presto, perfect salon colour. I’ve used box colours for years when I couldn’t get to a salon and they aren’t great in my experience and definitely cannot compete with a professional colourist, but for a bit more money I think this colour looks as good as, possibly better than the salon because you get the professional colourist in the price and they assess your hair. I also didn’t have to find a babysitter and sit in a salon chair for 2-3 hours fretting about the cost. I don’t think I’ll go back. This is a revolutionary idea and but for covid I would never have discovered it.

Add me to the list who are shocked that an online service could deliver an exact match to the color I spent WAY too much money on at the salon. I need to cover grey roots, and the product did a great job of that...my technique not so much, ha.
They caution you against coloring roots over previously colored hair to avoid "striping", but I believe that led me to underestimate how far out my grey roots really went, and I ended up with a very faint grey line about half an inch away from my scalp. User error; but the coverage where I had enough product was flawless. I was impressed and do plan to try again. I also want to try the Light Kit soon to touch up my salon highlights.

I started at my roots and the middle and the sides which are the worst it left a lot of grey didn’t cover very well, the product itself was nice thick and tools were great low smell and was a great match for color. Just wish it covered better

When the pandemic started, my hair was a Med. Ash Blonde. The first try I was very upset, it darkened my hair, No more Ash
just dark dreary brown that me me look older my husband said he hated it.. the 2nd order made my hair look harsh n brassy, My hair was 3 different colors..
I called esalon bc I wanted to fix it, so I sent b4 n after pics (ash blond n the other with dark brown w_red tones n blond) I don't know how she did it but she did. I ordered it for Xmas but I waited till yesterday and was surprised to see extra bc I have long hair (free of chzrge) it looks great, its light W/a hint of Ash. . I thank you for not giving up n working with me. Esalon is amazing. Great Customer service goes a long way..Thanks Danielle, your awesome .I WANT THE SAME EXACT COLOR in my next shipment ..

Well, I went from dishwater blond with faded, grown out highlights to 100% dishwater with a goldfish hue. Blondes need highlights to provide texture. I will try highlights next time. Not the fault of the color - the fault of what I ordered.

I loved the colour I picked and the after care and personal contact I received.
My only negative comment is if you have long hair 1 box might not be enough. So maybe add more product for longer hair.

The color is absolutely beautiful, but I would prefer more violet. I see I'm at the max. When the color starts to fade its a brassy color. Makes my hair feel soft and it is very shiny!

Je suis plutôt contente du resultat malgré quelques ratés quand même. J'ai regardé les vidéos avant mais dommage tout est en anglais et j'ai rien compris. Merci de les mettre en français pour un maximum d info. Bon j'ai fait avec. Mais je pense que le résultat serait au top avec toutes les infos et quelques applications en plus pour avoir la technique.

I was concerned about a home colour as I had had my hair permed in Sept , but due to lockdown and grey hairs going wild, I decided to have a go, I noted down that my hair had been permed and the colour went on really well and my hair was a lovely colour and in good condition
My only issue is It has now gone a bit dull, but it has been a month since it was coloured so I guess it’s fading

The process was just as easy as before(my 12 year old daughters do it for me), but the smell was much stronger this time. Also the color was more brassy than the last time. Will need to change the formulation before the next order is processed.

The set came all set up and had easy instructions to follow with everything I needed. I guessed at the color I wanted to try. It turned out a little to brassy for me. I have really short almost white (gray) hair that had no other color on it. So that's the only reason I gave this a 4

My first order fell a little short in my expectations and felt a little flat. After sending a mobile pic to my colorist, she adjusted and added a toner to my next order creating a custom color and it was perfect. Don’t be afraid to send a picture and let them go to work for you to get it right!

I have only tried to color my own hair twice in my lifetime... and yes, both times were during stay-at-home mandates. I'm not skilled when it comes to doing my own hair, but salons are luxuries of the past. More than my roots were going gray and I was wearing wigs and headwraps whenever I went out. I was tired of it. Tried Clairol. It did not work at all. My hair is so dark and my grays are snowy white, actually. Clairol's darkest black color turned those snowy white hairs golden white, so that they glowed against the jet black of the rest of my hair. I gave up. I used touch-up powder and hair paint. Then, I discovered eSalon. I wasn't optimistic. It looked hard, the color offered didn't seem like it'd be dark enough, but what the hay? The price was right and it claimed to come with everything I'd need and dummy instructions.
Well, it came with everything promised plus a free gift--a camo wand. It took me a few weeks to build up the courage to try to use it, but when I did...it was so friggin' easy. I made a little mess, but that was due to my novice status. I made a bigger mess with the Clairol. The product didn't burn, it spread easy, washed out easy, and my hair is beautiful and back to its natural black color. It shines, it's not brittle, and I am pleased to say I did it myself!
My only complaints: The smell was strong. My eyes watered and my nose stung while I mixed the color. There wasn't enough conditioner. My hair is natural, dense, and coarse. It needs a lot of moisture. I would have run out of conditioner had I not mixed it with another conditioner I already had.

I have natural dark brown hair colour with lots of grey. I go to the salon every four weeks and have my hair coloured medium blonde. I am 58 and have had many home colour disasters in the past. I chose esalon because of the good reviews and the need to look at least presentable as working for the NHS during lockdown. The presentation of the product is excellent as are the instructions. My colour, roots only, went on very dark and I thought omg. However the colour is amazing, medium blonde exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately there is no facility to upload a pic🙂

We finally got the color right today! I had almost given up after 5 shipments. Although the hair was always shiny and in good condition after coloring, it just wouldn’t color the gray. I’m 100% gray, Caucasian, medium brown, bone straight, thin, just past shoulder length hair. After dying, I would send up close pictures and descriptions and the stylist would try again. The roots were sort of orange after coloring. She did seem to listen, but I think (although she didn’t say it) that maybe she just wanted to make incremental changes so it didn’t go too dark. I did receive one complimentary color application along the way, about when I was about to give up. This last color bottle was super purple and the instructions said to leave in 40 minutes on the roots. Bingo! I only did one minute on the ends, even though it said 2-3 minutes because the ends tend to absorb much color. I think they will forgive that. The ends are still very dimensional, not solid, the way I like it. So, be prepared to stick with it. It may take months to get it right. After all, they can’t actually see your hair in person.

My hair is 100% gray. I have used all kinds of hair coloring for over 20 years. I have to color my hair every 3 weeks. So my hair used to get dry from salyes produced so I decided to go to a salon but soon found out that I'm spending a fortune on my hair s the first time a went to the last one salon she charged me $270 for a hair cut color and high light then $110 every 3 weeks for a touch up the roots plus the tip and the products that they convince you to buy. It's not that I can't afford to pay that much, but I felt guilty to spend all that money while the country is in crisis and people are losing their jobs and felt like $110 can be a grocery for a week for a family. My experience with E Salone coloring is amazing. The color matches amazingly; the outcome is exactly like the salon.

I gave it a four with a few issues. The color has not stayed as well as the first coloring. I haven’t done anything different. I do love the color created for me, I did ask to have it lightened a bit but that didn’t happen. A shipment was sent in November but because of PS it didn’t arrive when notified E Salon did send at no cost another shipment which I did receive. I’m not saying I’m unhappy with ESalon just stating what I’ve experienced so far. Now I will say the colors are beautiful much better than what you would buy in a store and E Salon is there to help with any issues. I highly recommend trying them!

I really liked the resulting color but did struggle with making a mess a bit. The smell is a bit strong but if my color lasts, it will be completely worth it. I love that it's so personalized and the colorist I worked with was incredibly nice.

First of all I did not receive the color that I ordered and wanted, it was adjusted by the colorist so that I supposedly don't get "hot roots " but it was not the color i wanted so I ordered again and specified that I wanted some ASH Blond and not a warm blond so as not to get the red brassy tones that I ended up with anyway...i found the right color at Madison Reed....

Initially I felt like this hair was too cool red - but after one wash the color was PERFECT. I think it just needed to fade a smidge. Now that I've washed it a couple times it has warmed up and has became the copper/red color I was looking for.

The only negative is that I have not ordered from here sooner! I have spent A LOT of money in salons over the past 15+ years (going every 5-6 weeks alternating among highlights, low lights and graduating to include gray coverage on my crown) The cost of salon visits along with the time incurred finally led me to explore other options and NOW I have found an amazing online alternative. The color matching consult and ordering process were easy and the intro price impressive. I WILL be ordering from here again and sharing with friends/family the gem I have found in eSalon. Easy to apply. All I needed was provided and delivered straight to me. My input~try eSalon you won’t be sorry

Bonjour, je suis désolée de ne pas avoir pu aller chercher ma commande du 6/01 dernier, en effet j'étais absente pour des raisons personnelles, est il possible d'annuler cette dernière qui doit être sur le chemin du retour, puisque je me suis présentée à la poste ce jour et pas de colis. Cette dernière est payée donc 2 solutions
1. je reçois les 2 commandes en même temps
2. nous annulons la 1ère et je réceptionne la 2ème en n'ayant pas de frais supplémentaires

It took a few attempts to get the exact color I wanted, but I got there! Very vibrant and lasts a long time! The only thing I disliked was the bottles I got for my roots when I adjusted my color. It was the same as the last time, which looked a bit strange. I still love the overall color though!:)

I just did the color about a month ago... I absolutely love the color, the conditioner etc.!! I just don't need it every month... I would like to get it maybe 2 times a year, possibly 3.... How could I do that?
And, I just want EXACTLY what you sent me last time, I do not want any changes!! I don't recall what I had chosen - was hoping you could just give me the same!!

I'm pursuing a color but unsure of what it is at this point, and haven't gotten there yet. We are taking baby steps to get there so It is a work in progress. But I have faith, that I will get there sooner than later.

So full disclosure, I just deleted my first one star review. I had given that review way back in the spring of 2020 after I tried my first color treatment, and the first mix was not quite right since it came out too orangey. I was a novice in doing my own hair, but with the COVID restrictions, I had not been able to visit a professional salon for months and I was feeling so dull and dumpy that I was ready to try a home subscription service. What I didn't realize was that I could use a balancing shampoo and tone down the brassy colors - so the customer service people at E-salon helped me out. With the next shipment of color, they had adjusted it and also I added a light set, to get the lighter streaks that I was used to. OMG. It turned out amazing, and now I am hooked. I am always getting asked if I've been to a professional salon, because the system I have now makes my hair look and feel amazing!!!

Love the color, my only issue was where my color lifter was, it was lighter and I felt I needed to leave my roots color on longer. Other than that, I loved it.

I recieved my box today, wow really impressed with the packaging. Only 4 star because I've not tried it yet but the package certainly makes you feel special. Unfortunately colour was not expected, golden brown roots with light ash blonde length

I started dyeing my hair after I turned 40 because I missed my vibrant color. My hair started getting darker toward this muddy red-brown, not the pretty gingery I had in my teens and 20s. I tried henna first as I was apprehensive of dyes and that was ok, but not the best. Then I gave up on that and at age 42, I finally dove into getting my hair dyed at the salon. The first time was perfect, the second time was a disaster. The same person did it those first two times...she did not keep notes on what she dyed my hair the first time...so the second time was WAY dark and more burgundy. I switched to dying at home and getting a product from Sally's and that turned out ok, but not really what I was wanting. I did get my hair professionally dyed one more time by someone I know and that color was fun and I liked the change, but not exactly what I really desired.
I'm 44 now. I recently found eSalon and said, "what the hell, let's try it." I gotta say, I'm really happy with the results from this first coloring. I uploaded my most recent photo so they could see my current hair color and also I uploaded a photo of what my hair used to be. I think this made all the difference. I love that I can leave notes for the colorist. My hair is long and my roots were different than my ends, so they blended me two colors...one for my roots and one for my ends...and now my hair is all the same color! I could not be happier.

I had my color adjusted after the first round because it faded quite a bit from the color I wanted. Red is difficult to keep vibrant overall so I opted to up the copper tones for the next shipment.
It was perfect. I am 4 weeks out now and it has still faded but it definitely held a longer red in the color that I wanted.

I like the color. A little difficult to follow instructions to color the roots when my hair is very thick and in many layers. End result is good, though. Please send another applicator brush with next order. I kept it from the first order, but wasn't able to find it

I came to eSalon after a failed attempt with another at home color subscription service. I made a poor color choice with the previous service, which gave me ashy ends that people thought was a failed attempt at the gray hair trend. When I provided the other color service with this feedback, hoping for help in making a better choice, the website just told me not to put hair color on my ends, and I could not find an easy way to be sure I chose a similar color with a warmer undertone on my own.
On the other hand, I felt like eSalon had a more nuanced color selection and provided a chart so that I could start with their recommendations but easily see how to push that color to a warmer less ashy shade. My color was perfect on the first try but if I wanted to tweak it, eSalon makes that easy.

So I naturally have red-copper colored hair. Started going white in spots. Went to Aveda salons twice and my hair came out wierd colors that do not exist in the real world. I like this color except it did not cover the white hairs and the I almost passed out from the ammonia smell in the shower even with the vents all going. The smell was SO strong. Yuck. Maybe my white haira are too course and hopeless.

Easy process and more accurate color this time around

The customer service was awesome. They sent me an email inquiring if my order was received (it was not) then they proceeded to send me a replacement since it had been lost. The color was adjusted this time to a darker shade and this time the color was much more accurately matched to my natural color. I notice that after about a week I can see some grey hair (not roots) visible. I am not sure if grays are tricky to take up the color or I am not saturating them enough (even though I feel like I am super saturating the grey area). I am going to try and be more particular about the application and see what happens. I also love the shampoo and conditioner provided. It makes my hair so silky smooth. I am considering trying the root cover products and ordering the shampoo and conditioner next.
