I have no idea what Im going to do! I had strawberry blonde like hair. I wanted to lighten it and add some color to it. Girl, it is egg plant purple. I have followed instructions exactly as they were given. The only way to fix it is to have it professionally done. I can't afford that!. Im looking into what my legal charges. Maybe.

The package did not include the brush application so results were not that great. I also preferred my previous color. I had to redo that this time and did not get the same color.

The instructions caused my stylist to leave the color on for what I believe is an extra 15 minutes. She paused after the first 15 minutes to work on another customer, left my color on for 15 minutes, then mixed the developer and put the color on for another 15 minutes.
I read the instructions to mean NO additional 15 minutes in the middle: 20 minutes for the first bottle, which included 5 minutes to mix the second bottle with its developer, and then immediate application of the second bottle for 15 minutes.
My hair looked almost black.
Was I right?

The picture shown the color I ordered to be a lot light than it was, it pretty much matched my own natural hair color. Its just turned my hair a slight red color not lighten it at all.

The color came out perfectly and beautiful just as expected. I was so happy with it. I couldn’t stop looking at it even. And then the next day I went to wash and the color tint purple rinsed all right out. Very disappointing.

Inconsistent mixture and results

The colorist does not seem to be able to follow the proportion to mix my color and I am getting poor results. She either mixes it incorrectly and it does not take properly (too light and grey showing through) or i get really incorrect tint results. I currently have bright pink roots and look ridiculous . My color is supposed to be dark chocolate brown
I want to cry because i will have to leave the house tomorrow with the terrible results i got from coloring my hair this evening. I guess I am wearing a hat and being humiliated all day. Be more careful Sylvia. Your mistakes have consequences for the clients and I look absolutely terrible.

I was really hopeful when I got my adorable pink box, the packaging and all the extras were amazing BUT the color did NOT cover my grays….the very thing I wanted most. Spent all that time and now I’m going to have to go get it done professionally any way. Super bummed.

My last experience was a disaster! While applying the color to my hair ,I noticed that the bottle was warmer than usual. I continued to apply ,then I realized that the bottle got really hot ! I rinsed off the product immediately for at least 30 minutes with cold water. My scalp and ears turned bright red. The unused portion that was thrown out had the cap on .Well it became extremely hotter because the cap popped off and the product burnt a hole in the garbage bag .

I’ve got a lot of grey hair around the frame of my face. I’m a brunette and ordered full coverage hair colour according to the numbers my hair dresser supplied. The result was ridiculous. All greys turned platinum blonde. The rest was dark brown. I had to go to a salon to sort the problem out. I looked like an odd coloured skunk! Beware. You’ll get full coverage on greys but not in the colour promised!

Really disappointed by this colour. I was at first really excited to use it as it seems so luxury compared to a bog standard box colour. Whilst washing it out I seemed to lose a lot of hair. I needed to clean the plug hole out twice to let the water out. My hair is now a mixture of jet black and stripey dark brown. I'm desperately trying to lighten it now with head and shoulders every day. I feel like I'm wearing a black hat. The hair that is black looks really course now. I've booked to have my hair coloured in a salon next time as I feel like I'm damaging my hair

This color is decent hair color, it does the job however I do wish the customization was more customized towards each individual customers wants & needs instead of using the same formulas. I do like that you receive your gloves, brush and everything you need to color your hair one thing I would maybe suggest is making the conditioner a little larger so you can follow up to condition again the color is a tiny bit drying. But all in all a great service.

Die Farbe war nicht so zufriedenstellend.
Sie kam sehr grünstichig und grau raus. Wahrscheinlich Zuviel asch . Ich werde es die nächsten 4 Wochen beobachten. Wenn ich in vier Wochen mit der Farbe nicht mehr zufrieden bin werde ich kündigen, denn dann ist die Farbe für mich zu teuer.

I ordered blue black, it was written blu black, but actually it is dark brown. I requested specifically that I don't want the color to bleed with every wash and this color bleeds woth every wash. Moreover, this made my hair so hard and rough. I hate the product and will not purchase again.

So I’ve been a pretty loyal customers since 2018. The price has gone up. The quality has gone down, unfortunately like everything else today. i’m not even sure I will be ordering again because I can buy cheaper stuff over-the-counter at the grocery store that covers the grays cause this doesn’t. It used to be fewer great I don’t know what happened

I just used my kit and for the first time, I’m very disappointed in the coverage. Your product did not cover my grey roots and the colour was very dull. It was not the initial copper that was vibrant or the coverage that I’ve had in the past. Regular box color covers my grey better.

Die Haarfarbe an sich hat mir gefallen!
Was überhaupt nicht geht: sie hat mir die Haut sehr gereizt, ich hatte tagelang rote Stellen am Kopf und der Stirn! Somit ist die Farbe ziemlich aggressiv, dabei ist sie doch dermatologisch getestet!? Schade!

I ordered the bright copper and was excited regarding the product as it had good reviews in comparison to shop box dies. The packaging and content was great, nicely packaged and cute little shampoos and conditioner and even a stain remover and guard. The product in itself was bang average. I have a lot of grey to cover which i noted on ordering. The colour didn't even last 4 washes on my roots and they grey came back through very quickly leaving me with a glarey root and darker ends. Looks like ill have to go back to my hairdresser to fix it up.

Ich hatte 2 Fotos mit der gewünschten Farbe an e-salon gesendet.
Die Farbe, die ich erhalten habe, ist um einige Töne dunkler und viel intensiver.
Jetzt habe ich sie gefärbt und auf dem Kopf.

All of the red colors are a weird pinky shade of red. I've tried 3 different colors and none of them are good.

Leider ist die von mir bestellte Haarfarbe nicht annähernd so geworden wie sie sollte. Lediglich der Geruch war sehr angenehm. Daher möchte ich eSalon nicht weiter testen. Dabei finde ich das Konzept dahinter wirklich gut.

I asked to have the colour lightened but it ended up the same colour s before. I am outside a lot for my job and the sun bleaches the red so I wanted to stay with the lightened look but unfortunately it looks exactly like my last hair colour. Very disappointed

I've always done dark and have always dyed it myself and this time the roots came out lighter and almost orange. Not a big color change. Usually roots are always darker. Not sure why this time was different

I like the packaging and the product itself, however I'm not thrilled with the end result. It turned out quite a bit darker than I thought. I was hoping a stylist would have looked at what color I started with in my picture and talked to me about what end results I was looking for.

Roots not the same

My kit came with 1 color for my hard to cover gray and another for the rest of my hair. I followed the directions to a T. Now my roots look orange and the rest is dark brown. AS OF 7-15-25, I have never spoken to anyone regarding my roots turning orange. My husband ordered a second supply of hair color within one or two days of my original order because I was worried that there might not be enough color for my hair. I still have orange roots. I am unfortunately for the first time in my life going to pay my cosmetician to fix my hair color. I'm very disappointed with the product and I'm discouraged because of what I paid for the product. Once again I have never spoken to anyone about my orange roots.

After several emails including photos, the color was way too dark. It was a deeply saturated dark color without dimension. It was not flattering and was not what I expected from a custom hair color online service. I paid for 2 colors and I think they sent 2 complimentary to try to get the color right, but it just didn’t work out for me. I appreciate their help, but just way too dark and now I need to buy a color remover to start over myself, as my salon would charge me over $100 for correcting the color. It’s really difficult it seems to get the right color on line, which unfortunately was my experience. No one wants dark saturated dark dull hair.

Color not close to color chosen

The color I chose was supposed to be the result of what it would look like from my natural hair color. My hair came out a bright fake looking red at the roots and darker on the bottom. The color I chose said the makeup of color was only a small amount of red and was supposed to give me an auburn undertone. Unfortunately this didn't happen. I did email customer service and was told I could get a credit and try with. another color but I don't feel comfortable with that as they couldn't get it right the first time. I also didn't want to damage my hair even more as it had turned out very dry.

Meine Haare hatten direkt nach dem Färben einen schönen dunklen Kupferton. Leider wurde der Farbton innerhalb von einer Woche immer heller, sodass mein ursprüngliches Blond, insbesondere in den Längen, immer mehr raus kommt. Ich hoffe, dass meine Haare mit der neuen Bestellung wieder einen schönen dunklen Kupferton erhalten, der auch ein paar Wochen hält. Ansonsten bin ich mit der Anwendung und dem Service sehr zufrieden.

Impossible à appliquer seule. Résultat très en-dessous de ce que j'imaginais.

What a waste of time and money

Ordered a custom color after researching and reading reviews as I wanted my hair two shades lighter. I was super excited when it came in, did a strand test and didn’t notice any difference but figured maybe it was just too small of a piece. Did my entire head, and my hair is darker than it started. And now I can’t lighten it as now it’s been permanently dyed and lightening with color only works on virgin hair. Would have to bleach it now and can’t do that for weeks either. It didn’t even color my few greys.

I asked to go lighter and it darkened my hair color. I’m ready to call it quits if they can’t get the color right. I hate my color right now and I’m buying a lightener from them to adjust the colorist’s mistake. Might be time to go back to the real salon.

Leider bin ich mit meinem Einkauf nicht zufrieden. Erstens hat der Versand ungewöhnlich lange gedauert, was bereits ärgerlich war. Zweitens entspricht die Haarfarbe nicht meinen Vorstellungen. Ich hatte mehrfach erwähnt, dass ich ein helles, aschiges Braun möchte. Stattdessen sind meine Längen dunkelbraun und aschig, während der Ansatz ein warmes Braun mit einem Rotstich aufweist. Das Ergebnis ist weit entfernt von dem, was ich erwartet habe.Sieht sehr schlimm aus.Schade für das Geld,werde es nicht weiterempfehlen!

When new on the colour is perfect, but it fades after only a few washes. It didn't cover the pre coloured strip of dark colour in my hair which I wasn't surprised about and they did send me a complimentary darker colour to try again.

I absolutely loved all the packaging, the custom shade was great, but this was my first time using a demi permanent, so maybe im just unsure of how long a demi should last, but the very first time I washed my hair, 3 days after colouring, I was almost back to the colour my hair was before coloring. I used the rest of the shampoo/conditioner that came with my kit, and only used mildly warm water. By the 2nd shampoo, the colour was completely gone from my hair. I was so disappointed that the soft black shade was gone so quickly.

I still haven’t received my order. This is the second order I was forced to place, as the company withdrew the money and claimed it had already been shipped, so I was no longer able to cancel it.
Now it’s been over two weeks, and the order hasn’t even been handed over to the parcel delivery company. Very disappointed with the service so far.

Two different colours

I got my new box and only had time to color my hair now. I received two different colours, one red and one brown. Unfortunately I only picked it up a bit to late and started with the red. My grey roots is now an orange red colour while the rest of my hair is dark brown!!! This is a total mess.

Die Haarfarbe hat nur 10 Tage gehalten!!! Hat sich sehr schnell heraus gewaschen! Was ist schief gelaufen? Bin sehr verärgert. Noch dazu wurde mir ungefragt eine neue Packung geschickt und das Geld einfach von meinem Konto abgebucht!!!!! Bin sehr verärgert!!!!!!

If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction. I ordered medium brown expecting a natural, mid-tone brunette shade. Unfortunately, what I received was extremely dark brown — my hair now looks almost black. I was aiming for a soft, medium brunette look, but this is way too dark and doesn’t match the description or image. If you’re looking for a true medium brown, I’d recommend going at least one or two shades lighter than what you think you need. Very disappointed with how far off the color turned out.

I’m a bit disappointed in this set as I asked for a dark strawberry blonde and uploaded photos for reference but I’ve used the set and it’s just a dark blonde, it’s left me with a really flat dark blonde with no warmth.

My color is dull after a couple of days. The gold tones are coming through when I wanted ashy tones. Too brassy....and really one toned, not multi layered color. Also the lack of ability to order highlights along with your color is disappointing.

Trotz genauen Angaben plus Originalfoto meiner Haarfarbe sowie Foto meiner Wunschfarbe (die sich nicht sehr von meiner Haarfarbe unterscheidet) komplett falsche Haarfarbe bekommen! Noch nie hatte ich einen dermaßen langweilig Farbton!
Mische mir meine Haarfarbe wieder selber! Erziele als „Nichtprofi“ bei weitem bessere Resultate! Schade!

I have a 6 months customer history with eSalon, time in which I was in awe of them (at start) only to be let down by both quality of product (had dye sets not covering grays) and service (unanswered outreach, delays in order processing and delivery).
I have just cancelled my order and subsctiption because of delays in both order processing and shipping.
I am so disappointed! I would have been a long term customer, but I cannot keep being let down by this team and product.

Ich verwende schon einige Zeit das Colorset und war immer zufrieden. Jedoch nach dem vorletztem Färben werden die Grauansätze nur ganz schwach überdeckt und der gesammte Farbton ist blasser und schimmert grünlich. Was mir auch von meinem Frisör bestätigt wurde.
Habe jetzt eine aus der Drogerie benutzt und alles ist wieder ok.

This is my second order in the last 30 days of these products the first order i left them on for 45 mins and it didn’t cover my gray so i ordered my next batch early and applied again but this time left it on my hair for an hour and it still didn’t cover my gray. I asked for a color adjustment, which was done. However, the color completely washed out after letting it sit for 45mins and I am now left with a head full of gray hairs immediately after a color. This is super frustrating!

The ammonia was to much and my skin is very sensitive. Started to get burning sensation on my scalp. Had to wash it out immediately. I ended up giving my second batch of coloring to a friend. I won't be ordering again.

Farbton nicht erzielt

Ansatz ist zwar gut deckend gewesen aber der Farbton wurde nicht erzielt. Bin jetzt eher braun rosa anstatt intensive Kupfer.
Schade. Farbe anpassen für die nächste Lieferung geht auch nicht so leicht.

Did not cover gray well 😔

I wanted to love this, but unfortunately it did not cover my grays very well at all. It’s definitely better than before I dyed it but you can see the orange-ish color instead of dark brown on the gray. It’s seems healthier than after I use other products which is fantastic.

I unfortunately broke out in hives all over my face and neck after I colored my hair with this product. I'm not too sure what happened with this blend since this has never previously happened before with color I've ordered from here.

Grauabdeckung nicht optimal

Die Farbe ist schön. Leider deckt das Produkt meine grauen Haare nicht optimal ab. Bei mittelbraun sind diese vielleicht nicht mehr weiß, sondern ein weiß-blond. Habe schon sehr viel ausprobiert und hatte die Hoffnung, hiermit eine optimale Grauhaarabdeckung zu finden.
Ich teste es nochmal ... mal sehen
