I used esalon for the first time and it was enough for me. I followed the instructions every step but it didn’t cover my grey hair and the very little colour was gone after the first wash. Very dissatisfied with the product: extremely strong smell, small price-poor quality. Not recommended, waste of time

I am naturally a medium blonde. I was getting quite a few gray hair so I decided to color it. Unfortunately, the color that was made for me turned my hair, grayish brown. I am so unhappy. I am now going to have to go and buy box guy from the store to lighten it.

Applied hair colour like in the videos and left it for a while, after washing the hair it did not cover the grey hairs and there wasn’t much of a difference on the rest of the hair, also it came with little amount of colour, for thick long hair it wasn’t enough. Smells nice tho and leaves hair soft.

I love the colour, love the ease of use BUT after 2 weeks the colour has faded dramatically and the grey is showing through. I was hoping for a cheaper way to colour my hair away from a salon.

Estoy muy disgustada con el color recibido me oscurecio mi cabello totalmente y me eliminó todo lo cobrizo que tenia, no quiero mas ordenes, terrible la experiencia. Ahora el salon me indica que no podré llegar a mi color nuevamente. Elegi el color deacuerdo a las imágenes de color que muestra su Carta de colores y no es nada semejante.Llame para que no enviaran pedido y hable con una representante por que el color que deseaba era el de la promoción de una foto en su anuncio y queria estar segura de que el color se asemejaba y como quiera me enviaron el color. NO DESEO MAS ORDENES .

Mir ist wieder die falsche Farbe gesendet worden. Ich hatte die Farbe von BG-2 vor der letzten Lieferung wieder auf BG-1 geändert, hatte aber trotzdem die falsche Farbe bekommen und ein paar Tage später kommentarlos die richtige. Diesmal habe ich wieder die falsche Farbe bekommen. Das sehe ich erst, wenn es gefärbt ist, da es nicht auf der Flasche steht. Es ist weißgrau geworden, von Blond keine Spur. Ich werde mir wohl was anderes suchen.

At first I was happy with the product and it seems to last longer than over the counter hair dye. I made some changes to the color and for some reason I started having an allergic reaction from it after applying I’d get a dry itchy scalp and red spots. Had to stop using.

When my first box arrived it was missing items and, most importantly, instructions. I followed a friend’s esalon instructions, which didn’t mention that you shouldn’t overlap with previously colored hair. I had a chunk of hair professionally bleached over a year ago, Feb 2024, and my hair was still very healthy, no breaking. However, since using the box and applying to the bleached section of hair, it’s become dry and brittle. I didn’t know there were instructions online as they are near impossible to find. So maybe it’s not entirely on esalon, but the lack of instructions and missing half of my box did not help.

Le kit est super, très bien expliqué et bon packaging. Toutefois c'est ma 2eme commande et malgré le soin que je mets à l'appliquer (une fois seule et une fois aidée) ça ne tient pas... cela fait moins d'une semaine mes racines ne vont pas du tout et mes cheveux blancs sont visibles. Ce n'est pourtant pas la première fois que je fais des colorations, j'ai l'habitude. Très déçue pour le prix car celle que je prends à moins de 5€ en magasin tiennent mieux

Greetings I was befuddled to receive 2 different colors in the box (remember I am a layman not a salon worker) The first was for the roots which matched my natural color-which i havn't been since I was in high school, Im 51; then, there was a more coppery tone to wash thru the length of hair. In the esalon defense a color chart was supplied to recognize the difference but why would I use two different colors? Anyway I used the 1st color, my more natural root color and brought that thru my hair which is a lovely tone however not the color I was hoping for. Maybe too complicated for my skill level....u asked

This was an adjusted color for me after working this my colorist. This color was to match my color and it doesn't match and my greys were not colored at all along my face. Very disappointed and won't be returning as a customer.

I don’t know what happened. The first bottle that they had sent me foamed up purple. I’ve never had a hair color turned that color. My hair turned orange. I have very dark hair, so it was just my roots. But I look like a freak.

I'm going to give this another try, but I've used this twice and both times the color is beautiful, but fades. I expect it to fade some, but this color seems to fade within 2 to 3 weeks after coloring.

I have been trying for weeks to get my $ back as they send you color monthly without permission. I told them I didn't even try the first one and I don't want a 2nd hence please refund my money. So far, no money. I am going to try the product that I got on the first order and review the good, the bad and the ugly. I wondered why they called me to see if I needed help with the application.

You are told your hair photos are sent to a colourist which is a lot of rubbish . I have emailed you several times . Your dye has turned my roots ginger and my ends almost black I want fully refunded and sent a dye to fix this or I will be seeking legal advice and leaving another review on trust pilot

Ich finde das Set eigentlich gut aber es deckt nicht auf grauem Haar.Ich habe vor 1,5 Wochen mein Haaransatz nach Vorschrift gefärbt.Es sah alles sehr gut aus.Nach 3x waschen war der graue Haaransatz zu sehen,dabei wasche ich die Haare mit der Volumenhaarwäsche von eSalon,grüne Flasche.

I really loved the initial color- but now that it has been a couple weeks the color has completely faded and my hair is left lighter and brassier than before. I wanted an ash brown to take the red out, but now it seems worse than before. Really disappointed as I have had good results with this hair color before.

Followed instructions to the letter, my hair looked the same as before although it did cover my roots/greys, my old highlights were literally still there - gave up and caved in to a shop bought box dye, very disappointed as this was the second time after being unhappy with first colour outcome. Didn’t even bother using the highlight/balayage kit I bought.

Petit bémol : je regrette d'avoir jetée la moitié du flacon étape 1 : Racines, trop grandes quantités quand on l'associe à l'étape 2 pour les Longueurs.
J'ai le cuir chevelu très sensible, et malheureusement cette coloration n'est pas une exception, je tenterai la prochaine fois de faire un bain d'huile sur le crâne, pour aider à mieux la supporter.

Zuerst hatte ich mich nicht herangetraut da ich befürchtet hatte, es wäre zu dunkel oder zu rot. Dann war es eher das Gegenteil - einen Rotton erkenne ich gar nicht und das Braun hatte ich mir dunkler vorgestellt. Die Grauabdeckung ist ok, gerade am Haaransatz zum Gesicht würde ich mir da noch etwas mehr wünschen.
Die Anwendung fand ich eher schwierig, die Haare fühlten sich auch nach der Maske stark verklebt und schwer zu kämmen an und die Dusche brauchte nach dem Ausspülen eine Grundreinigung da die Farbe stark an den Fließen haften blieb.
Was die Haltbarkeit angeht: dazu kann ich noch nicht viel sagen da das Färben erst 6 Tage her ist.
Alles in allem bin ich noch nicht zu 100% überzeugt ob ich weiter machen möchte, ich würde aber einen zweiten Versuch angehen wollen.

J’ai spécifiquement écrit et envoyé une photo de mes racines pour dire que j’adorais ma couleur sur les longueurs mais que malheureusement elle était trop flou sur mes racines blanches. J’ai reçu une nouvelle couleur. Non seulement elle ne correspond pas à ce que je veux ( la même que précédemment) mais elle n’a ps fonctionne du tout sur mes racines. J’ai donc du acheter un spray pour colorer mes cheveux blancs. Donc j’ai dépensé de l’argent chez vous et aussi au supermarché. J’aurais mieux fait d’aller chez le coiffeur. Enfin… je n’ai pas du tout apprécié le contenu de cette seconde couleur. Pas see de produit. Pas de différence entre couleur racines et couleur longueurs. Bref … très déçue.

I have grays around my forehead and my biggest issue is covering them. Well this didn’t work either. And my hair has a very red tint to it when the color was brunette. I can get the exact same result for half the price at the drug store. Very disappointed

I finally got round to using this, I need someone to help me so had to wait until someone was available. It has only covered some of the greys, the ones at my parting are still very much grey. It has not changed the colour on my lengths at all. I ordered a chocolate brown, but my hair has the same reddish brown it had before. My hair feels like straw. I won't be using again.

Colour was to light, tried to go back and change my options but it wouldn’t let me.
Biggest issue was how dry it made my hair, never had anything like it. Felt like straw while washing out, didn’t like that I could only have the option of purchasing when I wanted, instead was only given the option of continuous purchasing.
Found somewhere else that is more user friendly and a product that didn’t make my hair feel like it was going to snap.

I would NOT RECOMMEND if you have any gray hair at all, I specifically told them I have hard to cover grays when ordering. I colored for the first time yesterday and I’ve gotten better results from a drug store box coloring kit. Sent an email and all they said was sorry we will adjust for next order. Well that doesn’t help me now and the reason for the color was my 50th bday. Guess I won’t be coving my grays for my birthday. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

The first time there were two bottles of color one for the roots one for the ends. My hair is thick and medium length i had plenty. The second month was only one bottle of color. I have a pretty decent chunk that didn’t get colored properly because i didn’t have enough so that was kind of disappointing. I didn’t know it wasn’t 2 bottle each time.

Die Anwendung war einfach, und die Haare fühlen sich nach der Anwendung sehr gepflegt und gesund an. Auch die Farbe ist schön gleichmäßig geworden und wirkt natürlich.
Allerdings entspricht der Farbton leider nicht
meiner Vorstellung und dem Bild, das ich mitgeschickt hatte. Ich hatte mir einen natürlichen, leuchtenden Kupferton mit orangenen Reflexen gewünscht – ohne Rotstich. Das Ergebnis ist mir zu rot und geht eher in eine Richtung, die mir farblich einfach nicht steht. Gerade, weil ich Rottöne an mir nicht mag und sie mich blass wirken lassen, hatte ich auf ein wärmeres, orange-betontes Kupfer gehofft, so wie ich es auch kommuniziert hatte.

I am disappointed in the product because it simply does not last. I think the color is great the first week and by the third week I have a whole new different color which is much lighter than the original and brassy. I am canceling my future orders because it's not a good value for me and I shouldn't have to color my hair every 2-3 weeks to have a great color. Very disappointing.

Hair like straw

I requested an ash blond color for my thick, shoulder length hair. Unfortunately, the end result was dry, dull hair with way too much gold. The shampoo provided dried my hair terribly and the tiny amount of conditioner that was in the kit didn't even cover one eight of my hair. My hair feels and looks like dried out straw. Instead of providing silly extras like stain-remover and extra gloves, why doesn't esalon simply provide a sufficient amount of conditioner like L'Oreal does? Very disappointed.
