As I explained, my hair pulls red, now it is ruined. You promised you can pick the color that it would not happen. You truly cannot test a site, without disrupting the mixture. I followed step by step. I loved the packaging, presentation. So dissatisfied with the , “red”!

Je n'ai pas l'impression d'avoir fait une coloration.
Le cuivré n'est pas du tout visible.
Je suis simplement châtain comme d'origine, alors que châtain clair cuivré demandé avec accentuation sur le orangé et non rouge.
Je vais devoir attendre 2 mois avant de tenter une autre coloration si je ne veux pas abîmer mes cheveux.
J'attends de voir les modifications suite à ma demande et mon résultat insatisfaisant.
J'ai mis 2 etoiles car le point positif c'est que les cheveux blancs sont bien couverts.

Somewhere in between chestnut and a darker brown. Definitely not light. My hair was blonde before this dye. It is now incredibly dark with red-orange tones thanks to esalon’s “recommendations.” This has ruined any chance I had of getting a light brown. Super disappointed. Would not recommend esalon at all.

I’m a redhead or at least I was until I went gray. I ordered a color that I thought would give me back my red hair. eSalon decided, sight unseen, that I needed a color that was different from the one I ordered.
I used that color today and I hate it! It really didn’t cover the gray. It’s not really red and my roots are pink. Did I say I hate it bc I really really hate it!
Now I don’t know what to do. I don’t think I can color it again for a minute, so I’m stuck with awful color!!! Thanks eSalon!

It is a lovely idea as you can get hair colour adjusted for you and delivered to your door. Nice and easy way to use. However the colour is not holding on my hair for long and it washes away. Also shampoo added contains SLS. It is absolutely impossible to find on line how to stop subscription.

When I did my color profile I actually I sent pictures, my current color, my expectation, I think yo do not even see it, the color I got is not even close the color you told me I will get, "I hate it" I was thinking give you another chance but after see my hair at the mirrow everywhere I just want to cancel my suscription, simply I hate this color.

I paid for a custom shade that, once done and dyed, was much darker than what I'd selected, looked like a popular brand I could've bought for less than half the cost but didn't because I wanted a lighter, coppery gold shade, not a dark tangerine ginger,
But even on trying to own it and be happy with the wrong shade for a while, it started fading on the second wash and looked terrible anyway.
Just get a regular boxdye down the shops if you want to do hair at home, it'll be the same result.

So I was really hoping last time was a fluke but now I received my second order and I followed the instructions to a t and I am really orange this time. No one responded to my emails so I am trying some other company products to see if I can somehow tone down the orange though my hair will never be the blond I asked for. (I am naturally blond with some grays) I am never doing this again and its back to the professional who actually knows how to mix color. Very disappointed in the product and the customer service this time.

Sehr enttäuschend. Die Farbe ist beim 2. mal färben nun einfach rausgefallen. Ebenso war es nach dem Färben auffällig hell und rötlich. Dies hatte nichts mit meiner Wunschfarbe zutun. Es lag definitv nicht am falscher Anwendung. Einwirkzeit ebenso nicht zu kurz. Gestern habe ich mit Hersteller Poly gefärt und das hat perfekt gehalten. . Ich habe das Abo storniert.

I was impressed with the packaging, shipment, customer service and quality of the product however the colour that I wanted happened to be so absolutely different to how it actually turned out. I am utterly shocked as it was so dark and can’t even see any red tone.

I wanted auburn ginger hair, but i ended up with quite a vibrant red. Also, I have very long hair, and there was not enough dye to cover my whole head so I had a large portion of hair undyed. My fear is I will need to keep purchasing and adjusting my colour to get to the actual colour I want, which can be very time consuming and costly in the long run. I wonder if going to an actual salon may actually be the best option when colouring or changing the colour of your hair. Although I do like the care put into the website and the support you get, aswell as detailed video tutorials.

The color is so dark!!!! It’s almost black. My hair was a golden medium brown. My natural hair growing in was lighter than current color. I asked for my color to be lightened. I was told couldn’t be done. What I didn’t expect was for color to be soooo dark compared ro my dyed color; and worst it’s darker than my natural brown hair. My hair looks black. Very disappointed.

I waited so long for this to get here I think it took 5 or 6 weeks to here and by the it got here I had already colored my hair. I had to wait a month but I got sick so it was delayed again. So I finally tried it and I was so disappointed.There was no no light copper that I wanted. I sent a photo of my hair clearly showing the color that I wanted and picked it out of you color chart and even told you to make a little redder. I texted you he informed you what had happen and all you said was I'll send you a free shipment of it. I stated that I didn't want it because it was the wrong color only for them to come back with the same answer. I asked to talk to a supervisor and they said someone would be calling me soon. I never heard from them.

I gave this a fare try with 4 uses, and found that it fades faster than the store box color I use. It's not worth the money to me. Also, I cancel my subscription over the phone with CS the day I received the next months box and got a refund. Then I end up getting another box this last month that I didnt want! Turns out they didn't cancel my subscription like I requested! So, I went online into my account and cancel it this time myself! I'm going to be extremely mad if I receive another box of this junk hair dye again!

Ich hatte lange Haare bei der Bestellung angegeben, doch leider war die Menge schon sehr knapp bemessen.
Des weiteren hatte ich Mittelblond angegeben, aber der Ton ist zu dunkel, es ist eher Aschblond.
Schade.

Very disappointed after purchasing a colour for the first time and haven’t get the order yet when I looked at the account and said that I was in flex plan meaning that they will get money from my card no permission I did for this. Again the first order haven’t got it yet.

I tried this for the first time… sent pictures of where my hair is and what i (wanted to get close to (extensions that i wanted to wear) I even spoke to a colorist on the phone to be sure we were on the same page and answer any questions. My hair is not even close and barely red, when it should have been a copper color

I’ve slightly added more red to my copper which I love however when washed off the colour was a slightly different colour to my roots. Today I have washed it for the first time an my roots are now noticeably orange in comparison the the red hair. I followed instructions with second bottle and left on the end all over colour for recommended time. Tax disappointed ☹️

Esta ocasión, el tinte no cumplió mis expectativas. Al aplicarlo como se indica en las instrucciones, lo dejé posar el tempo indicado y no cubrió las canas por completo. Llevo dos lavadas y ya se cayó el tinte de las canas por completo.

I ordered the same color in 2017 as I did in 2/2025 BUT it was not the same. It is gold with reddish tones. Not happy at all plus it is pretty dark. Very disappointed.

I was excited to try this and save money doing my own hair at home but I never even got my first shipment. When I tracked it, it kept saying it was on its way. I contacted customer service to see if I could get another one shipped since I had an event coming up soon and needed my hair done and it was obviously lost in the mail. They responded by telling me to wait another week since I was not going to get it on time regardless.. I had ready waited almost a month (my next order was being ready to be shipped). A good reputable company would’ve shipped it to me overnight since it had breads been almost a month since I ordered my product and I had been patient about it. You don’t tell your customer you’re out of luck you’ll have to wait some more because we don’t want to spend the extra money over nighting it. Shame on you. Instead of saving money, I ended up spending more because I had to go to a salon at the last minute and I’m sure everyone knows how hard it is to get into a good salon at the last minute. I still haven’t gotten my product or refund since they still have the hope that my product will arrive sometime in the future. SMH and Rolling my eyes. Seriously! Wake up! It’s lost!

I can’t really review the actual product yet because after 2 weeks it has not been delivered. I can say that I am very disappointed in the shipping. I decided it must be lost and was just going to have them re-send it. Apparently it can take 12 business days from the day shipped to be delivered.
According to the tracking the package has not moved in the last 5 days. I can’t imagine a package in transit that long would be delivered un damaged. I guess we will see what happens next week.

Usually, I don’t give low reviews, but after following the directions very very carefully and even keeping the hair dye in my hair for a bit longer for those stubborn grays, I came out of the shower and noticed that my grays are still very visible. This is the second, actually maybe third, time I’ve been using the dye and the last time I thought maybe I’m not doing something correctly. Maybe it’s not the right type for my hair and I will be looking into that.

Farbe statt Tönung?

Ich muss sagen ich bin mit der Farbe echt zufrieden. War etwas dunkler als ich wollte aber find des ist am Handy auch nicht so einfach sich vorzustellen. Aber mag die Farbe sehr an mir.
Leider muss ich jetzt nach über 2 Monate feststellen, dass die Farbe rauswächst. Ich hatte eine Intensivtönung bestellt (COLORATIONSART Intensivtönung, so stets in der Bestellung) und wollte ganz klar keine Farbe. Laut meinen Kenntnissen hält eine Intensivtönung ca. 6-8 Wochen. Meine Farbe ist noch nicht mal wirklich heller geworden. Find ich sehr schade. Wollte meine Haare in naher Zukunft spenden, da sie aktuellen schön lang sind und muss noch auf das Rauswachsen der Strähnchen warten (fast draußen, Übergang aber nicht schön daher Tönung drüber). Tja das wars jetzt damit. Schade.

Die Kopfhaut juckt, die Haare waren beim Waschen wie stroh und die Farbe ist halt ne Farbe, nichts besonderes, kein Unterschied zu der 4€ Farbe aus der Drogerie. Daher erspar ich mir das Geld lieber. Schade. Beim ersten mal war die Qualität wesentlich besser

Ich habe in der ersten Bestellung die Farbe Schwarzbraun gewählt. Dies war mir zu dunkel, also habe ich mich an den Support gewandt.
Dort habe ich für die nächste Bestellung Dunkelbraun angegeben. Geliefert wurde wieder Schwarzbraun.Ich wendete mich an E-Salon,wurde aber abgewimmelt.
Ich bin sehr enttäuscht!! Kein Entgegenkommen, und am Ende der Antwort (keine Rückgabe möglich) noch der unsinnige Spruch,, immer schön gesund bleiben.
Nie wieder E-Salon!!

Although the change a a bit darker color did help a bit, the top of my head and sides still don't want to take as well where my roots are whiter. My hairdresser said it took better on the bake if my head where the roots are still a little darker. Once again I'm open to suggestions.

Ich war zunächst sehr begeistert, da man sich wirklich gut aufgehoben fühlt, durch persönliche Emails, etc. Doch leider hält die Farbe nicht länger als eine handelsübliche Tönung und deckt auch kaum - trotz exaktem Gebrauch gemäß der Anweisung. Ich habe mich dann entschlossen, die Haare doch wieder durch einen Friseur färben zu lassen. Ich kann esalon leider nicht weiterempfehlen, da es für eine Tönung, die nicht mal eine Haarwäsche übersteht, dann doch zu teuer ist. Ich danke esalon dennoch für die Bemühungen.

Mit der Farbe im Flexibilität war ich völlig zufrieden. Dann habe ich aber den Conceal & Cover Root Powder als Einzelprodukt bestellt...auf einmal wurde der mir mit meiner nächsten Colorlieferung verspätet Anfang Januar mitgeschickt ohne mein Zutun. Und zack wurden einfach wieder 30 € abgezogen. Schweinerei. Auch nach mehrmaligen Mails und einem Anruf wurde mir die Schuld für die Lieferung gegeben. Retoure nur mit Kulanz und eigener Kostenübernahme, und das nach London. Das ist für mich Betrug am Kunden. Wer sagt mir, dass bei meiner nächsten Lieferung nicht wieder was dazugepackt und berechnet wird. Schade, die Coloration war echt schön. Aber diese Firma sieht mich nicht mehr.

Not what I thought

I explained that I had highlights and low lights and asked if I could put this system over my hair. They said yes. When it arrived, my instructions stated that only to do the roots! Not to let it get on any of my previously died HAIR. I feel this was not clear at all. And now I can’t find any way to return this. I won’t be able to use it.

Well I asked for light ash Blonde with a hint of purple tint to it. In fact I even sent a note way before my hair color was shipped just to stress the purple tint. I got medium ash blonde with not even a hint of purple. I was very disappointed and sent two messages back to my colorist and I received no reply. So I cancelled my account but then rethought it and decided to try again for a reply to see what my colorist had to say. I am waiting on a reply.

I like eSalon and the color was good. My hair felt soft and wasn't dried out or frizzy after application. However, all the good things are overshadowed by poor customer service. I have attempted MANY times to have the tax rate corrected on my account, but they refuse to make the change even though I've provided detailed proof from the state and county tax authorities where I live. They are overcharging me 5% on every order. Not a lot, but it adds up over time. The money is less of an issue that the fact that they argue back and forth thru messages and absolutely refuse to correct the problem. Every other online retailer gets it right, but eSalon doesn't and they couldn't care less.

I ordered my first custom color set, and it didn't dye my hair at all. The color had too much brown in it and I wanted more purple in it. I contacted customer service and they gave me my second color set for free. I told them to make the dye stronger and add more purple to it. They didn't listen to me, and the hair dye came with even more brown and less purple pigment. This time, it slightly made my hair darker brown, but the dye didn't last long in my hair. This was a disappointing experience for me.

Das einzig positiv zu erwähnende ist, dass alles im Set schön zusammengestellt ist. Leider erfolgte keine Berücksichtigung von mitgeteilten Wünschen. Jegliche Reaktion lässt auf sich warten bzw. ist bis heute nicht erfolgt. Die Coloration habe ich nach langem Überlegen aufgetragen. Meine Haare sind jetzt noch dunkler als vorher und war so nicht gewünscht. Auch die Farbe passt nicht zu mir und sieht unterschiedlich aus. Zum Glück trage ich meine Haare hochgesteckt. Da bin ich bei Farben aus der Drogerie besser bedient.

There was not enough application to cover my hair

My hair is not that long but there was not enough color to cover ends. As a result it covered only 75% of my hair. But the amount of the application for the roots was more than enough. The same amount as the amount for the ends- doesn’t make sense.

I liked the idea of e-salon and I liked the products and the packaging and the service. But the colour! Oh dear! I've ended up with hideous kind of dark and dusty beige when I had stressed that I wanted to go blonde. Very disappointing.

I am not getting any feedback on my request for adjustment. I have uploaded a photo but I cannot see any response to a request for adjustment. Given that you specifically state a personalised experience, I am sceptical of anybody is looking at comments? Can you pls confirm what shipment is coming as I d rather not get the wrong colour and pay for it.

Unfortunately what I didn’t wanted to happen did happen. I am now the proud owner of orange roots with a darker crown. The staff was amazing. The instructions clearly explained the Cie. is truly great but in my case didn’t ended up great.

This is about my 3rd or 3th ti.e using esalon. They still can't get my colir right. Grey isn't being civeted, they never fixed my old color below ears. When they tried it looks like I'm ready for Halloween.. I can do it better my self . I'm canceling my esalin autoship
