Careless company with exploding products!I ordered black hair dye for all my hair. I was unknowingly sent 1 black bottle & 1 golden light brown bottle. So a week before my vacation i ended up with golden brown roots & top of head with very black waist length hair. Wanted it all to be black. & this was not my first time coloring before. Also before I could even finish getting all the color in, the roots bottle explodes all over my bathroom wall, counter, door, floor & myself from the waist down. EnttäuschendHab mir vorhin die Haare gefärbt. Hab, wie in der Beschreibung den Rest der Farbe mit Wasser vermischt und zum Aufschäumen benutzt. Der Geruch der Haarfarbe beim Aufschäumen war extrem beißend in der Nase. Davon abgesehen ist das Ergebnis wie folgt: Der Ansatz ist nicht mehr grau, sondern blond - von rot jedoch keine Spur. Nicht die gewünschte Farbe.Die 2. Bestellung war auch kein Kupfer. Diesmal ist es ein Kastanienbraun. Ich glaub ich lass das einfach mal und geh in die Drogerie und kauf da einfach ein Kupfer, denn das war wirklich immer Kupfer. Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht. Color changeThe 1st shipment that I received the color was great. The 2nd shipment which was supposed to be the same came out black. I don’t even know what to do with this color. Modified formula for better gray coverageThe root formula seemed the same but the ends formula was VERY STRONG SMELLING. I feel like the gray coverage was the same as last time (not ideal) but I can tell effort is being made to cover the stubborn gray in my root area. Farbton passt nicht wie erwartetIch hatte die Seite von einer Freundin empfohlen bekommen. Ich passte an, machte alle Schritte und freute mich auf meine Farbe. Aus meinen roten Haaren sind nun Braune geworden. Sehr ärgerlich. Wäre es nur um ein/ zwei Töne abweichend, hätte ich nichts gesagt und abgewartet. Incorrect color descriptionMy natural hair color is light blonde. I purchased the Dark Blonde 7.1 color. It looks like a light brown. The color I received and dyed my hair with was the exact same as my natural hair color. I had people even ask if I lightened my hair. Ein Auf und Ab der GefühleNach dem Färben war ich zuerst zufrieden, dann wieder nicht, weil meine Haare viel zu dunkel und wenig karottig wirkten und jetzt, ein Tag später, nach erneutem Haare waschen bin ich immer noch nicht zufrieden. Ich werde das Abo beenden. Auch stört mich der 20% Entwickler. Der ist ganz schön heftig für meine Kopfhaut. Ich denke mir, dass es auch mit weniger geht, weil der Friseur es ja damals auch hinbekommen hat. Nunja, kein perfektes Erlebnis ganz schrecklich auch nicht. I did report this and customer service issued a credit for another kit. Not the color I wantedI really wanted to like this service as it’s very expensive to go to a salon nowadays, but the customer service and quality is not what I hoped it would be. I reached out asking if there was a place I could upload inspiration pictures to so my stylist could see what I was wanting. I unfortunately got an automated response saying to upload pictures of my current hair, which I had already done. I figured I would just go for it and see how it turned out without inspiration photos, but it’s not at all what I wanted. The idea of this service is great, but I see problems with the execution. High hopesCovers greys well but the colour faded quickly and was much darker than requested. It is difficult to maintain copper, but I expected a better lasting colour. Fiery dark red resultI normally use ammonia free hair dye like Herbatint or Naturlique. I decided to try esalon as colours look vibrant. Waste of timeFirst box I had the colour came out way too dark. That was May this year. Ok, no biggie I thought. They have free colour adjustment. So that's what I did, I asked for more copper, lighter shade. Less brown, earthy, more vibrant. Simple enough, right? Except I waited 5, YES FIVE, months for that "colour correction" set. I just did it today. Nothing's changed. They literally sent me the same stuff as before. I haven't coloured my hair in between, to be able to certainly get the colour I wanted. Yup, not going to happen apparently. I'm going to box colour. Smells more of ammonia, but at least I don't have to wait 5 months and come out with a wrong colour. Gingers beware! Poor grey coverageI was very disappointed with the grey coverage of this permanent color. Color performed more like a semipermanent rather than permanent which I selected to ensure grey coverage. This product covered only about 25% of my grey with the other 75% transparent and clearly visible. Farbe total daneben - Pflege gutIch habe erstmals bestellt und bin leider enttäuscht. Meine Ausgangsfarbe war ein gefärbter Kupferton (Naturhaar Mittelblond). Mir wurde u.a. ein Kühler Pearl Mittelblond Kupferton vorgeschlagen, den ich dankend gewählt habe, da ich gerne wieder richtig kühl/blond, aber leicht kupfer gehen wollte. Das Ergebnis war, dass meine Haare leuchtend rot sind, ein recht dunkler Kupfer-Ton. Von Pearl bzw. Kühl keine Spur und entspricht null der vorgeschlagenen Farbe! Damit bin ich leider total unzufrieden. Die Pflege ist super, keine Frage, aber die Farbe entspricht nicht der versprochenen Farbe! Colour changeMy colour was almost the same as my natural colour but over the following weeks it turned a ginger shade which is most unpleasant & will take months to grow out. Came out light redI did this on virgin hair with highlighted ends. Instead of medium blonde I got a light copper red on the virgin hair and something like medium-ish blonde on the tips. Problem is it looks gross- roots aren’t supposed to be warmer/lighter than the ends. I followed the instructions and did the ends last, but seeing how awful it looks on the virgin part- the majority- makes me think whoever mixed the color (Samantha) just picked the wrong color. Incredible presentation but mixed resultsSo, I will preface this by saying it was fully my own fault for misunderstanding what colour I'd receive based on how dark my base hair was, but it is true that I wasn't satisfied at all by it. When I contacted customer service to express this, not only were they incredibly reasonable but upheld their colour guarantee promise and listened to all of my concerns. I do intend to try this product again and will most likely review then to confirm my thoughts, but solely based on this experience I would just want to inform anyone with about medium brown hair that this shade (medium brown red copper) will be very very subtle on you. Perhaps that's what you're looking for, but I truly just wanted to have a brighter red copper shade, which is why this is 3 stars. The packaging was as beautiful and well organised as the adverts suggest, the smell of the product was much milder than box dyes I've previously used and the texture of my hair did generally feel brilliant after. Queja de productoYo solicité un nuevo color de tinte para mi cabello no para mis raíces, el producto que recibí es castaño oscuro cobrizo, mi color actual es chocolate, pinte mi cabello y me quedó el mismo tono en las raíces es decir negro, el resto de cabello use el color reavitalizante, y me quedó unas partes rojizas en el frente y el resto negroooooo…..!!! Mis raíces igual están negras igual que antes, me parece súper injusto que me quede el cabello así, además me dicen que me envían solo tinte para mis raíces y el resto de cabello ????? Nunca solicité solo para raíces yo quería un nuevo cambio para todo el cabello, de hecho pedí más producto para TODO el cabello no solo para raíces, ese tono no es de mi cabello como para pintarme solo las raíces aparte me pinté y está negro mismo, con la diferencia que mechones a los lado está rojo!!!!. Wrong colorI asked for a lighter hair color because my hair always lightens during the summer. Turns Strawberry Blonde. It now is a true COPPER PENNY color, shiny and very pretty, but certainly not LIGHT, not Blonde, not Strawberry. Nothing like what I wanted. Unhappy with how the color turned outI tried esalon because my sister has been using it for quite some time and likes it a lot. If you want a normal shade of hair then I'm sure esalon is fine. However, I was definitely looking for something more vibrant and had uploaded a picture to show my faded, brighter copper color. From the choice of esalon's pictures online it looked like my choice would match the roots I currently had and that I choose a bright enough color. However, my first warning that I would not like the result should have been the email from the colorist saying they wondered if I wanted to go even lighter because they were afraid the color I choose was too dark??? I said I would like the lightest copper possible based on the example I uploaded. The result was my hair went to DARK COPPER instead of light copper and even though the company offered me a free color because I didn't like how my hair turned out I have to strip this color out of my hair because I cannot use a lighter color as it currently is. Now I would like to say that the dark copper is a nice shade, and I've received a lot of compliments, but it is not what I wanted. I believe the colorist didn't include the right developer to lift my color more. The lady that used to do my hair used a higher developer. I know this for a fact because she told me and my color was much more vibrant/bright. Won’t wash outI liked how easy it was to order a customized color and the cute packaging. The color was more or less what I wanted. I got a demi permanent which is supposed to wash out after 24 washes. However, it’s been 80 + washes using mostly clarifying shampoo, and my hair isn’t back to what it was. Nul nulLa couleur ne tiens pas, au 1 er lavage la couleur a totalement dégorgé je suis passé de rouge foncé a du rose rouge voir orange clair a certain endroit !! Je ne conseille pas du tout. J'ai envoyé un mail il y a presque 3 semaines et zéro nouvelle. Je vais devoir aller chez le coiffeur pour trouver une solution et cela va me coûter bien plus cher... Not at all the colour i asked forLuckily i did a strand test before applying this colour all over! I mixed up the contents as directed and it looked very red...not at all like the colour i asked for. So decided to do a strand test....well im glad i did. My hair strand went BRIGHT RED!! If i had applied this all over and ended up with bright red hair i would have been fuming! Versuch gescheitertLeider ist die Farbe nicht geworden, wie gewünscht. Der Grauansatz ist nicht abgedeckt, hat einen Grünstich und in den Längen ist von dunkelbraun/mahagoni ebenfalls nichts zu sehen. Positiv zu bewerten ist das Zubehör und die Anleitung.
