I wanted a shade lighter. It made my hair a shade darker instead.I have medium/dark brunette hair. I wanted a shade lighter, went with ash dark blonde. This "blonde" turned my brunette hair darker by a shade or two . I made sure to follow all the instructions, but have a darker result. Réaction allergiqueDommage le rendu couleur est top et l'application facile. Jai fait le test 48h avant et jai respecté les conseils d'application mais je me retrouve avec un cuir chevelu tres irrité (fortes démangeaisons et sensation de feu). Je realise pourtant des colorations depuis des années. Je n'avais pas annulé l'abonnement donc j'ai recu un autre pack coloration. Pas d'autre choix que de le jeter. Not for meLet me start with the fact the color is AMAZING! However, I had an allergic reaction to the dye. The chemical smell though is what got me, it made my eyes burn and water, my nose and lungs sting, it was hard to catch my breath. I hope others have a better experience. Poor customer serviceReally Unimpressed with customer service Ordered hair colour well over a week ago and it didn’t get despatched. Decided to go to hairdresser instead and tried to cancel the order as it says you can by phoning. Phone was not answered so repeatedly emailed and filled out contact form. Those were also not answered so now they have sent the colour very late which I no longer need and I have wasted over £40. Very disappointedI was/am very disappointed with my product, my color wasn’t anywhere near what I wanted. I really didn’t even have the choice to pick what I really wanted, and I’ve never had a hair color make my hair fall out as much as this one did. I’ve used it twice. Poor coverageI gave this another try and I’m so unhappy with how the coverage failed. I colored my roots on Sunday, 4/14 and completely saturated my roots and around my face. Didn’t cover my grayI filled out comments said that I wanted to cover my grays. I said I had black hair. I was sent soft black and it was brown basically so my gray was still there. I don’t know!Unfortunately I can't give a good review so far. I went abroad at the end of March. I ordered on March 13 because the website stated that it would be delivered within 1 week. But it took more than 3 weeks before it was shipped from the online store, and then a long time by post. So by the time I had to leave the set had not arrived. Orange HairI am sadly very disappointed in this hair dye experience. My goal was to have a soft natural light brown matching my root color. I took the quiz, uploaded photos, wrote out my goals to the colorist. I was advised to first fill my blonde highlights with a copper tint rinse. I then applied the "light neutral brown" on top. I was left with nearly black hair. Upon trying to rinse the color out over the last week I have been left with a carrot orange color. I followed every direction to a T ... my hair is now damaged, not a cute color, and will have to be fixed professionally. Love the color but still have resistant greysI love how the color is shiny and blends with my highlights. But I still have some stubborn greys around my forehead, temples and ears that are annoying. 20 shades darker then I asked for !!!!Left the dye on for less time then it said after reading some bad reviews - wish I'd read bfr purchasing... Way too dark and issues with re-orderingWhat was suppose to be a medium brown came out almost black. I know this happens sometimes with brown colors and then it eventually fades out, but almost black is not the same as medium brown. If only the shade was good for me, I would be amazed at how slowly the color fades. 1 month has passed and my hair is still almost black... I wish it would fade but it hasn't, this would've been a five star review if the shade was right. Another problem is that I ordered a new color a week ago and it still has not shipped. Hair Color Well Matched but Product Didn't Cover Gray; Missing BrushFirst, the box was shipped to me without the brush which is a multi-purpose tool needed to divide the areas and to apply the color. I proceeded anyway, and made a huge mess. On top of that, the color didn't fully cover all the grays, even though I kept the color on for the recommended time (my husband also helped me apply the color ensure coverage). In addition, for some reason the color continued to come out of the bottle even though I wasn't squeezing the bottle, it was just oozing out the entire time I was coloring my hair, and adding the the overall mess. Suffice to say, I think it's much easier if I just go to the salon next time. The missing brush was probably the most annoying part of the experience. Colour does not match my brief. I asked for natural and my colour is fake copperI’m actually embarrassed by the colour of my hair now. It looks awful. It’s Darker and with a cheap looking fake copper colour which is much more pronounced where I have greys. It looks purple on my hair line. I asked for a natural looking auburn colour. Now I have 2 toned hairNot only did it NOT cover the gray, but I didn't get enough hair color in my latest order, which was a lighter color. Didn’t cover allThe color only work on some parts of the top of my head. The rest of my hair didn’t change color at all. I followed the directions buy it just didn’t work. Really flat colour - strange burgundy shade!Really disappointed with my colour experience - I went for a golden coppery brown but instead got a weird flat full burgundy type light brown. I don’t know what went wrong as I had virgin non dyed hair albeit with a few greys. The colour left my hair feeling soft but looking very dull and meh. GO TO MADISON REED INSTEADThis was the 2nd chance I gave to ESALON. The 1st one- wrong color, covered only a few grays & FRIED MY SCALP. They gave me a refund & sent a new kit - which I appreciated however- same experience!! This time it fried my hair!! The only other time this has happened is when I bought some dye from store that only costed $2 so obviously esalons quality is that of a 2 dollar box of dye! Good product but I didn’t want a monthly subscriptionI wanted to try this product but I only wanted a one time purchase. Though it’s a good product and easy to use and I would buy again, I’m planning on going back to my hairdressers and I didn’t want a monthly esalon subscription. Did not cover Greys or lightenThis tone was not remotely a level 6-7. My hair is maybe a level 3 after colouring. It did not cover any of my greys at all. I also got hot roots. My roots seemed to be the only thing that processed and they had more brass than violet. A lot darker than expected.I knew when I put my mixture in it was going to be way darker than expected as it has more of a blue undertone than green, which I asked for because I had a red tone in my hair. But apart from it being darker, it was very easy to apply. Only other thing I would say is that I was told to do a focus on roots, but my roots are a lot darker than my ends. It used to work nicely but then it stopped covering IIt used to work nicely but then the last year or so it stopped covering my roots. It just doesn't work anymore. I went to the website and requested a change to the color so that it actually works, if possible. I kept getting sent the same formula without Any change. Ineffective for gray hairAfter trying multiple color kits in various iterations I have to concede that this is not the product for me. It does not cover my gray hair at all, and I get splotches of my natural color shining through. This isn’t normal, I’ve used other root color kits on the market and had quite satisfactory results with them. I thought eSalon would be better, but it has not turned out that way. I keep having an ugly red undertone to my brown color, even though I’ve communicated this problem to the colorist every single time they supposedly changed my formula. I colored my hair with the latest one they sent me and there’s zero difference with the kit they sent me beforehand. I don’t think they changed anything to be honest, they just sent out the old formula. I’m going back to the DPHue root color kit, as I got a much better gray coverage result with no red undertones. Second order missing applicator and did not cover.Second order was missing applicator. Left roots showing even though I applied more at hairline and left on longer as per staff. Lower rating than first. First order color looked great for the first few days. Then the roots started showing more quickly than they could have grown. I had visible roots within a week and the color had deteriorated in 10 days. It is cheaper than salon but at this rate it requires an application every 2 weeks rather than my usual 3 to 4. Une catastrophePlutôt sympa dans son petit emballage, notice facile à comprendre et à exécuter mais le résultats n’est pas du tout celui voulu j’ai obtenu les cheveux roux carotte alors que je suis blonde et demandais du blond plus clair! Après avoir tenter un nombre excessif de produit bleu avec une dépense de +30€ de produit puis être allée chez le coiffeur (+70€) ils ne sont pas tout à fait remis de ces reflet roux et j’ai du faire une couleur plus foncée ! Last colorPlease look at photo...my hairline around my brow is orange/ugly reddish. I am on a 2 week tour of Japan and will not be calling you. Look at the bottom picture with my daughter...that is my color! Orange roots!!! No grey coverage!!!I am a Néw customer and I was not happy. My first box and coloring turned my roots ORANGE AND IT DID NOT COVER MY GREYS. I WOULD LIKE A full REFUND. YOU SAY YOU HAVE A 100% guarantee or you give back our money. I would like a full refund. And now I have to worry about your second shipment you sent to me. I called and told you I did not want it shipped out and billed but it was already done. My order was shipped and my debit card was billed I would like a credit for the first order as per your guarantee refund and I am now waiting on my second order in the mail so I can refuse it and return it to you. I would like both amounts credited back to my debit card for the first order and I’ll be sending back the second order as soon as it arrives. But I need that money back in my account asap so I can afford to get my hair color back to normal as it is still orange and my greys were not covered.
