I sent pictures of my hair prior to my custom color being created and provided the details of the dark brown hair color I was seeking and it still wasn’t right. I emailed about how unsatisfactory your product was and Ive NEVER heard from anyone. Still a week later, no response. You email me every couple of days trying to sell me something but you can’t reply to my issue via email. I finally just gave up and cancelled the auto ship and when the second shipment arrives I will return it to get my refund. I had read reviews that no one contacts you but I figured it was an oversight now I think it’s just how you do business.

La couleur est magnifique, simple à utiliser (à 2 c’est quand même mieux). Cependant, j’ai pris une coloration permanente sans ammoniaque mais celle-ci dégorge et laisse apparaître les mèches blondes (que j’avais précédemment) au bout de 2 shampoings.

I have almost black hair, that’s how dark brown my hair is. And they keep giving me lighter hair colors I do not understand. And so my roots once again do not match.

My color was too dark. Didn’t see any change at all! I tried this twice, but no difference in my hair color at at all! So I’ll go elsewhere.!!!! Really wish I can get a refund!!!!

Ergebnis ist enttäuschend

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von der Coloration. Ich habe hellbraun asch bestellt, aber das Ergebnis ist nicht mal annähernd ein aschton, sondern ein sehr helles goldbraun mit kupferreflexen. Genau das was ich nicht wollte. Zudem hat die Farbe absolut keine grauen Haare abgedeckt, das heißt ich habe im Ansatz immer noch alle grauen Strähnen. Im Hinblick darauf, dass dies mein ausdrücklicher Wunsch war, ist die Farbe eine absolute Enttäuschung.

I requested the brown//copper which on the picture had a pink tint to it. Follow the instructions to the letter and my hair is brown! Not just brown a horrible mud colour which is going to need bleach to lift. I tried this company as the colour I use is hard to get hold of, I picked a colour too match what I used and it's shocking. It's only hair but looking at the colour and I cried... Because I know this will ruin my hair to fix. Rest assured I won't be using this again. Overpriced and still end up with a colour that is worse than the usual box colour.

I like the strawberry color as it’s close to my natural color. The only reason I color my natural red is because I’m getting whites. This initially covered them until the second hair wash. I used the shampoo & conditioner included and followed the time settings for processing. It’s been 1 week since I colored and I have whites like I never colored my hair. 😢 At least they blend into the strawberry blonde some.

I will never use this again. My hair is ruined for Easter Sunday. Thank you esalon for making my hair greenish! It was suppose to be light blonde. Has a greenish tint. Now I have to go to church like this tomorrow and laugh it off. I will not ever recommend esalon! Not only did it turn my hair an ugly color but also the texture of the hair. I think I will stick with my regular hair color from the store! At least with that I don't end up with ugly hair! ESALON YOU SHOULD REIMBURSE ME! if I could have given 0 stars , I would have. Also very disappointed that you just sent the color without replying to my emails with the picture but guess that should have been my red flag not to use the product!

Color started fading after single wash, grey coverage was less than 20%. In 4 washes I have lost all color and grey hair are visible. It did not make my hair dry, but color is not lasting at all even when I followed all instructions.

Tried two different custom colours and neither got me to the hair colour I wanted. Wasn’t much change to my original hair colour. Wanted light ash blonde and my hair is bronze blonde - same as my original hair colour

I was under the impression that once I put the color I wanted to achieve - and sent a photo of my current color, you'd send the right shade to achieve the light ash brown!? Instead it came out black!?! We're going into summer and my hair is black! I have to go to the salon to have this corrected now.
Im not a cosmetologist and I know what colors to put on my hair to achieve the shade I want!
The fact my hair is black - ordering from a "professional" is incredibly insane! I sent a photo of my current hair color and chose the color I'd like to achieve. It's not even close! I wanted to go a tad bit lighter for spring! Definitely not black!

The overall coverage was good but the colour is a bright red that is much darker than the soft copper I was hoping for! Hope they make the right adjustments and I can give a better rating next time!

I ORDERED PRODUCT LAST FALL. I DID NOT CARE FOR IT AT ALL. I TRIED A COUPLE MORE "SOLUTIONS" THEY SENT TO ME AND NOTHING WORKED. I DID NOT WANT AUTO SHIP TO OCCUR SO I CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT AND I WOULD HAVE TO 'RESTART' AUTO SHIP IF I WANTED TO ORDER AGAIN. TODAY MY BANK ACCOUNT HAD A $51 CHARGE FROM eSALON. I disputed it with my bank and went to the chat box and that rep told me it wasn't cancelled but she cancelled it for me BEFORE we chatted. What? These online companies make money by, oops, sending you products you didn't order, hoping you'll keep it.

My colorist, Alexandria, sent this concoction for me to try. She was supposed to have fixed the color the last two times around but my hair kept turning orange. This order was supposed to be a new color but it still turned my hair orange. I sent pictures and asked what I should do since I didn't want to buy another box. She responded asking me what I want her to do...well now I thought I asked you what to do. If I knew what to do I wouldn't be asking. So I turned off my subscription and I'm going to Walmart to buy a box of hair color.

I’ve colored my hair myself 100’s of times and I’ve always had really good luck. Until I tried eSalon. The color I chose is exactly what I wanted. However, the color only “took” in 1/3 of my hair. And my hair was not colored, treated, and very healthy before I used eSalon color. I uploaded photos. I sent a message explaining my issue. Begged them to send me more color so I can fix this mess BEFORE the holiday and I’ve had ZERO response. I’m going to have to buy a box color from the pharmacy. To say I’m pissed off would be an understatement.

My light blonde hair went to a light mousy brown color. Terrible results. I will never use your products again!! I called & left a voicemail message with my personal information & the mis-color management & never received a call back, no refunds & you had the audacity to even send me the same ridiculous color a 2nd time!!! You missed this customer by a million times! Cancel this ridiculous nonsense of a poor colorist, he/she is far from professional & you don’t follow through with your warranty/guarantee/promises!! You take this 2nd shipment back & refund my money, I definitely will not use it again!!!! Not ever!!!

Does not cover gray hair as advertised

Not only does it not cover gray hair, it has turned my hair into straw. I took it to my hair dresser to apply as she has the skills better than myself and my lord. My hair is straw. I just cut off 9 inches of hair because it was so bad. No, it was not over processed, either. We went exactly by the timing on the instructions (actually one minute less because my head started burning so badly to where I now have scabs on it) - this may work for many, but I certainly will never ever order this again. The dermatologist said that the ingredients are very toxic and I should never use it again. So not a very good review. Just an honest one.

I got sucked into this. They were very clever with the $10 pitch. The first order I used I bottle. I still have the other. Now they send be another. Now I have 3 bottles. And it was $30 and change to my charge card.. I will send it back. I am on fixed income. Believe me when I say I am going to blast negative reviews

Die Farbe deckt leider nicht wirklich den grauen Ansatz, obwohl der wie in der Anleitung zuerst bearbeitet wurde! Auch mit der Farbe bin ich nicht zu 100% zufrieden. Ich hatte angegeben keinen rotsich zu wollen und meine Haare haben nun einen rotstich....
Ansonsten ist die Verpackung mit Anleitung gut und einfach in der Anwendung.

My blonde hair is now dark brown. It was supposed to be matched to my hair color. I even sent a picture of my hair color. It was supposed to be dark blonde. There is nothing blonde about this at all. It’s dark dark brown. Borderline black. This is not natural looking at all. This has ruined my hair and my natural color.

Not dark brown on my roots

I ordered dark brown which is my natural color and the color of the rest of my hair color. After using your product on my roots, it comes out medium golden brown NOT a dark brown at all. For the price I’m extremely disappointed and my February order never got delivered and I just saw on your tracking with usps that because the postal service for some reason couldn’t deliver, they disposed of it instead of returning it back to you and I NEVER got a refund or a new kit sent to me. Also for some weird reason my payments are coming from my PayPal account which is linked to my bank debit card, then sometimes it’s taken directly from my debit card and now the last few months your taking a double payment because it’s also now coming out of my husband’s personal account, which I have NEVER gave you any of his bank info nor does it even appear in my payment in my account with you. It ONLY shows my PayPal account that is authorized. So your company for two months now took payment out of two different account’s (not authorized) but only received ONE box of product. Except for February where you got payment from two different accounts (NOT Authorized) but didn’t get NO box of product at all. Because the usps threw it away. And YOU never credited me back or sent a new box out. Shame on you for scamming people out of money and ripping me off!!! If I do my math right. As far as I’m concerned your company owes me a credit of 3 boxes. Either the money should be sent back OR 3 boxes of DARK brown hair dye product should be delivered to me since you’ve already got paid (twice for two months) but no product was received. Oh and the FREE box of product or credit for your 100% money back guarantee or free box of product if dissatisfied. So that’s (4) boxes of product OR (4) Credits of $33.77 that I was charged that needs to be refunded back to my bank account (which I’ve cancelled my debit card)

This dye did not get all my gray hairs. I have patches of gray still showing even after I got 2 bottles for my whole head. Color looks great on the rest of my hair but sadly didn’t cover all my gray’s such a bummer.

Je souhaitais une colo pouvant faire partir ma couleur rousse, j' avais envoyé une photo afin que vous voyez bien la couleur. J'ai donc reçu ma colo dans l'espoir de pouvoir enfin voir ses cheveux roux disparaitre. Mais malheureusement celle-ci n'a quasiment rien changer ! Je suis toujours rousse et non de la couleur demandée.
Autant dire que j'ai commandé une couleur pour rien !

My roots are a different color from the rest of my hair wtf is that about? Everything was so nice up until I washed it out and it dried. I have never in all my 20 years dieing my hair have I ever had this problem! I won’t be ordering this again infact I have to do spend more money to go get my usual from Sally’s and do it again the way I normally do because unfortunately this was not good. I've been ordering color for awhile and haven't had any issues until now. It lifted me instead of depositing. I feel like someone mixed something wrong. I Contacted them to let them know and the response I received was basically they think it was mixed right. I guess what I would have liked for a response would have been a simple Sorry and how can we help fix things? I'm left to figure out now how to fix my hair! At this point I'm good with that because I no longer trust them.

I had to get used to going a little darker than my normal dyed blonde, so my roots wouldn't show so much, but unfortunately it wasn't much longer than a box I buy at Walmart.

Color was not as expected and the chemical smell was so bad it burned my nose. Customer service was nice enough to try to fix the color, but I couldn’t tell a difference. Sorry , going back to Madison Reed.

This last mixture stripped my hair of nutrients, it made my hair brittle and with a lot of breakage. I’m thoroughly confused because the first colors I purchased left my hair healthy and no damage but not this time.

If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction. Received my hair color which was supposed to be light brown matte ash.
To say that I am disappointed is an understatement.
This color is NOT cold and ashy, quite the opposite, it's warm and ugly.

I was given a second free color to try since my first box didn’t work. I even tried to go with a more extreme color hoping that would help. Sadly this one didn’t show up either. Both times I ended up with my exact same hair color as if I didn’t color it at all.

The color could not cover my grey hair. I called the customer service and someone sent me a permanent color which not only did not work but kind of bleached my hair to a lighter shade than my natural dark brown color. I aso found myself lost a lot of hair whenever I washed my hair.
Plese cancel my order and refund me the money I paid. Your color system damaged my hair !!

I did answer the questions about my hair color being dark brown with auburn highlights and I sent a picture of myself. What I received was dark brown mahogany. I had qualms about using it because of the word mahogany but there were so many wonderful reviews that I thought: what could go wrong? So, I trusted the color experts and colored my hair on Sunday. What I ended up with was very dark brown hair with purple. I'm so upset that I don't want to go out of the house. I trusted that my picture alone would have told this colorists that my hair was brown and Auburn like I had said. I absolutely hate giving negative reviews but I want anyone reading this to be very careful in answering and using the product that they are sent. How is purple related to auburn? I'm too trusting. I can't believe I did this. The only reason I gave two stars is because my hair is shiny now, the boxing was very professional the instructions were wonderful and everything was first rate except the color choice I received. However, my hair is always shiny after I color my hair.

Im not sure what or how you guys m ix this but this color almost turned my hair brown. I had to stop it 1/3 of the way through the process. I sent a current picture of my hair color in good light. My hair color is almost white, Im so grey.
One thing it did do was cover my roots. So thanks for that.

Color turned out too light - disappointed in final result

I'm pretty disappointed that my color turned out much lighter than i had hoped it would. I was unsure about the instructions but followed them to a "T" only coloring my roots and not blending fully into the rest of my hair. There is a line on my head where the new, lighter color on my roots begins and my regular color continues. I'm not sure if i'll be purchasing again. Unfortunately my $4 grocery store hair color turns out more consistent and expected for less money.

Grauhaarabdeckung nicht optimal.
Genau nach Beschreibung gearbeitet.
Brennt auf der Kopfhaut und riecht sehr scharf.
Endresultat nicht besser als aus dem Drogeriemarkt.
Ein Versuch was es wert.
Ach ja für jene die es Abzocke nennen,bitte die Nutzungsbedingungen lesen.
