Dye was soft black on type with blue for the ends..two hours later, my hair is IDENTICAL to how it looked before...grays, brown roots and all!! Canceling immediately. Just wish I could get my two hours back!

This review is hard for me to write because there is so many pros, but the one con is a huge deal to me. I love the product itself. Easy instructions, easy to apply, very minimal odour and my hair felt really good after and the shampoo and conditioner smells amazing! But, I absolutely hate the colour I received. I was so upset with the colour. I did not want my hair to be copper/auburn, I wanted dark blonde. A woman’s hair is everything and when I won’t leave the house without a hat on, you know I hate my hair.

that I didn't have to paint it on, until this 2023 you can imagine my admiration, but I don't know what happened now, that the result was fatal, the nightmare of gray hair is horrible. Instead of covering it up, what seemed to be was to increase the situation and I had recommended them to my acquaintances and they made me look bad in front of them. Now I have more gray hair than ever. It seems that the product would have helped them with vitamins.

I was super excited to try, but ended up disappointed. The smell is SUPER strong which, for me, is a trigger for migraines. I did give it a shot regardless. Fan on, windows open. Followed instructions to the letter. While processing, all looked great!! However, once washed and out of the towel, not so much. My grey's were not gone at all and neither were my roots. This color actually lightened my roots by an entire shade. I'm not sure how or why since I went w a blue/black color as i have dark hair. So, worth a shot, but I won't be purchasing again.

Dachte ich probiere Mal eine neue Haarfarbe aus und hatte mich für Dunkelblond Kupfer entschieden und war auch sehr gespannt wie es aussehen wird. Leider musste ich jetzt feststellen das meine Haare einfach nur Dunkel Rot sind und nicht das gewünschte Dunkelblond haben. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht .

I color my hair myself quite a bit, so I have some good techniques down. I followed these instructions to a T and the color came out WAY stronger than what I wanted. I wanted a soft, chocolatey brown and I got violety black. It’s very harsh on my winter skin tone and I’m not sure adjustments can fix this.

Color was flat and dull and didn't look like the dark blonde picture in the ad. This color was darker. I've used store box dyes before and they at least left my hair shiny and feeling good initially. This did not. So worth the $11 shot for my first time purchase. Won't buy again.

La couleur à tenu exactement le même temps que les couleurs de grandes surfaces. J'ai redécouvert mes cheveux blancs ou bout de 3 semaines. Déçu. Je ne souhaite plus commandé chez vous je ne vois pas comment supp mon compte ! En revanche on peut reprogrammer une livraison !

The color was a bit darker than expected but it did cover the gray where I applied it correctly.
I thought I would receive the golden highlight set as well but it wasn't included and I'm not sure if on purpose.
I did meantime, order another products to bring out the gold tones and I add a ballayage set to my next order thinking that's what I need to lighten the lower part of my hair vs the roots. Perhaps I need to speak to someone to be clearer. But I'm now on jury duty so it must wait a couple of weeks. Thanks.

Grundsätzlich ist die Haarfarbe sehr schön. Durch die zwei Schritte zeitaufwendig. Hätte mich vom Grunde her überhaupt nicht gestört, nur ist es natürlich extrem ärgerlich wenn die grauen Haare, wofür es gedacht ist nicht abgedeckt werden

Yes, it go delivered in less than a week. And yes i love that every bottle had my name on it. But, they don’t tell you that everything you need to get your custom color, cost EXTRA money. I bought the color i wanted. I wanted to go from dark brown, to light ash brown….. the hair dye made my hair look DARKER. I asked my friends and family and they all agreed with me. I really wanted to try to since they said it’s better quality than the box hair dyes. Yes, it’s prettier and more custom. But the color is the same as a box…. Shows one picture but when you dye your hair it doesn’t come out like the picture…. So then i looked around the website and i needed to buy lighter to lighten my hair…. And then i wanted highlights….. ALL those were additional charges that was not made clear. I’m just going to go to Sally’s. Or buy box hair dye.

I really love the concept of getting my own custom color for less, but I have a sensitive scalp and I guess this just didn’t work for me. Color also came out lighter and brassier than I expected. My hair does feel healthy and soft.

I"m a flight attendant and I'm on the road constantly. So last week, I decided to color my hair. I took out my box and I saw where is leaked into the box. I honestly thought something else spilled on it. I mixed it as I usually do and started to sectioning off my hair. When I was going to start the color, the bottle was extremely warm to the touch. I have had that happen only once before. I threw the bottle away and I would like to have a replacement delivered along with my normal shipment.

I was shocked by the state of my latest shipment. I am a long-time customer and I’ve never received a color set like this one. Even during the pandemic, the kit wasn’t like this. If I had been a new customer, I would not have trusted the quality and would not have used the product. The box was beaten up and partially open. I realize this was a mail issue, but inside wasn’t any better. There was not the usual packaging. The items were crammed in and only the developer and color were in a partial shaped cardboard piece. The developer was missing the little cap, and it was some random shampoo and conditioner, not Esalon. It just looked messy and unprofessional. I’ll give it another try, but if next month my kit looks like this again, I will be cancelling my subscription.

My hair colour didn’t change. I have dark brown hair. I selected medium brown mahogany copper. My hair colour didn’t change. Maybe the slightist bit copper when the light shines, but that’s even a long shot. My hair is still dark brown and doesn’t look different honestly. I studied hairdressing, so the fact the developer is only 20 vol is concerning as I learned 20 vol only changes tone, it doesn’t lift hair colour (go up a shade). . So yeah. Confused.com

Ich bin von Natur Kupfer und mittlerweile auch grau. Ich hab sogar ein Foto von meiner Farbe hochgeladen. Gestern hab ich mir mit dem empfohlenen Produkt die Haare gefärbt. Nach Anleitung. Eine Katastrophe. Ich sehe nicht mehr aus wie eine Natürlich kupferfarbene sondern hab plötzlich ein künstliches Kastanie . Viel zu dunkel. Ich bin mega unglücklich.

Je ne suis pas du tout contente de ma couleur. Je n avais pas encore utilisé mon produit ayant encore un stock. Cette couleur est trop foncée et ne correspond pas du tout à ce que je souhaitais. De plus j ai déjà reçu un nouveau coffret que je ne pourrai pas utiliser.

I’m so extremely disappointed. Ignoring such a late wait time ( website states AU at the end and shipping time was nothing like on the website)
Texture of the dye it weird, kind of like oil not cream, made my hair so freaking dry and horrible to touch. I wasn’t able to brush them for over a week which made then snap
Also I ordered a demi permanent colour which came with 10% developer (I found it high but im not a hairdresser) and trusted you guys. Its a permanent hair dye!!!! That I was avoiding for years. You ruined 7years of me growing my hair back. Now I have horrible line and regrowth which I have never got before from demo permanent. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Destroyed my hair. (My friend who is a hairdresser confirmed that the texture of it it’s horrible and was surprised how bad my hair got afterwards)

I was charged and sent another box of color that I did not order or want. I have requested 4 times to return and get my money back. To date I still have not heard back from them. I suggest you don't do business with this company. The prices are also high for what you get.

It's a gorgeous coppery brown but it didn't color my greys. They're still very visible. I thought I left a note in my order saying that I needed a stronger developer but I got 15vol anyway. 😞

I followed instructions to a "t." I'm not a newb here, I'm 47 and basically full gray coming in. I was so disappointed when I got out of the shower and my roots were light pink at best. Either the timing was off or the formula is off or something because it didn't take. I saturated them too. So now I'm burning my scalp a little because I have to get my roots covered for an event tomorrow.

Es un producto muy bonito pero no cumple con las expectativas que pense no me pinto mis canas y la parte de abajo de mi pelo quedo muy negro no me gusto su producto no cubrio mis canas y eso que no tengo muchas. Como podria.cancelar todo con ustedes

Didnt change my hair color

Sorry to say as the 1st order it was great and was the colour i wanted but for some reason It looks nothing like the colour i wanted and it didn't do the colour! My hair looks the same but maybe darker? Not satisfied at all ;( i was so looking forward to the mahogany to be thier :(

Terrible gray coverage

So…my color was supposedly adjusted after I wrote in stating that my grays (new growth) needed better coverage. After receiving my new order I found that the coverage is LESS than the first time before the adjustment.

Caused huge allergic reaction

I have been using eSalon's hair dyes since lockdown and was originally very happy. The last couple of shipments of my custom colour have caused me to have an allergic reaction. Initially like contact dermatitis - itching, flaking and sore around my scalp and ears. This time, my forehead is completely swollen and I am in a lot of pain. This didnt happen before and I dont know if the product has changed or my sensitivity has, but I would avoid without doing a full test beforehand.
