It was very great when I ordered this to pay $10. I didn't know that was only for trier. I don't think I will pay over $25 to buy this product again.

I followed the instructions exactly but was disappointed to see just as many grays in my part line as before my coloring. I started there so the commute should have been the most saturated in that area. Really wanted this to work. Back to the salon I go.

Plus now I’ve just received notification of another order coming to me and I did not place an order and I’m trying to stop the order and get my money back but it’s difficult to negotiate the site to do this and now I have to call the uk from Spain.

J’ai demandé un cuivré, sur la photo, la couleur tirée plutôt vers le roux, en tout cas orangé. En suivant les instructions, je me retrouve avec une couleur surtout rouge, avec les reflets presque roses sur les longueurs les plus claires. Je suis extrêmement déçue! Je peux pas me les laisser détacher dans cet état!!! Je vais devoir m’acheter un décapant capillaire pour rattraper les dégâts! Merci bcp!

Ok the good and bad: 💓💔I like the concept behind esalon. Their other products are wonderful. Like the tint rinse and shampoo and conditioner combos.
Love the colorist team and how fast they answer any questions or concerns.
The bad, the color doesn't seem to take with my grays. I'm 44 years old so I have some gray hair on the side. Hair feels and looks nice for a couple weeks but the color does not hold. It maybe just this color I'm trying as I've had good luck with others. So I'm not ready to toss in the towel yet. I'll adjust it and see what happens.

I really wanted to like this product. I raved about it on my social media before I even tried it. The kit is awesome, shipping was so fast. I literally received it the same week I ordered. I followed all directions to the T and I provided pictures and history as to how black hair dyes always seem to fade quickly to brown or have a red undertone. I selected blue black permanent and my hair came out light red brown at the top and slightly more black on the ends. I'm really confused because even the cheapest blue blacks have never done this. I thought I could message my colorist because that's what they claim. But I have yet to receive any response and I find it odd that I'm expected to rock this half red brown half black hair till my next color shipment where they'll revise the color. Sigh...I tried but I'll be looking elsewhere.

Leider bin ich mit dem Ergebnis nicht zufrieden: Als erstes war es sehr ärgerlich, dass beim Mischen das halbe Badezimmer mit Farbe gesprenkelt war, weil die Flasche oben an der Spitze offen war und beim Schütteln die Farbe herausspritzte, was ich zu spät bemerkte. Zum anderen fiel die Farbe zu dunkel aus, was mir nicht gefällt, da es zu blass macht.

Die Farbe fand ich viel zu dunkel. Der Ansatz war eher rötlich blond, in der Länge viel zu dunkel, erst nach dem 3. Waschen ist mein Haar in der Länge wieder etwas heller geworden. Am Ansatz ging der Rotstich etwas zurück... Insgesamt war ich enttäuscht...

The color sent to me was actually permanent. I specifically chose demi to use on virgin hair so that it wasn't permanent. I only purchased a few times and after using this for the last time about 7 months ago, I STILL have the stubborn color in my hair. When I finally scheduled an appointment with a colorist in a salon she told me that there was no way the color I used was demi permanent. I am extremely disappointed and definitely will not be back or recommend using eSalon.

Bonjour, je ne suis absolument pas satisfaite de la coloration. Je voulais avoir les cheveux violet mais en fait je n'ai eu aucune différence. Même mon compagnon m'a demandé si je retournais au brun!!!!!

At first I was skeptical to order. My first coloring didn't come out good at all. Color didn't stay on we'll.
And only last less than 3 weeks. After 2 wash gray was showing. And I just got another order today. Which I didn't want. I only ordered one time try.

Mit dem Farbergebniss bin ich nicht zu finden es ist zu dunkel und meine Haare sind grau , ich müsste sie jetzt Blondieren was Haare sehr kaputt macht ….. und das hebt leider auch die gute Pflege die bei lag nicht auf ….. eine Wider gutmachen oder neue Möglichkeiten bot man mir auch nicht an …… es ist auch schwierig in Kontakt zutreten so kann ich es leider nicht weiter empfehlen , Nur Pflege und Zubehör kann ich weiter empfehlen das ist echt gut

I dyed my hair less than a month ago and I already have to do my roots again. I will be canceling, I can get better dye at the grocery store that lasts a lot longer. Very disappointed. For the price of this stuff you would expect better quality.

I ordered light brown ash mix and it turned my roots orange. Was unfortunately too late to cancel the automatic subscription so now have hair colour worth nearly £30 that I won’t be using. Very disappointed.

Indeed I mentioned my current colour is too yellow and I would like to add some Ash to cut the yellow, but the result of the hair paint was as in the picture uploaded. The roots yellow and the end gray! I want blonde Ash, not gray! Please help me with a solution

The color did nothing. I wrote in my account that I do highlights and I got color for just my roots. The color did not even change my hair. When I contacted support, they were defensive and super rude and unhelpful so I am canceling my account.

The color was darker then I expected, did not cover grays at all over all was not a good impression I hope the next corrected color is better or I will have to try a different company, this is the reason I left before, but decided to give it a second chance , due to im fighting a terminal illness, and I appreciate the convenience, but the product was sub par

Leider ist die Flasche für die Ansatzfärbung viel zu viel gewesen. Die Hälfte der Menge hätte locker ausgereicht. Habe daher mit der Ansatzfarbe das gesamte Haar gefärbt um die restliche Farbe nicht zu verschwenden, bzw. nicht entsorgen zu müssen.
Die Farbe selber ist super, tropft nicht und deckt super ab.

I love my hair color from e-salon and have used it for a number of years. I also loved the shampoo and rinse that was included. On my recent order, there was a different shampoo and rinse that smelled like medicine. Definitely not an improvement! Hoping a change back to the old shampoo and rinse will bring back the great product I am used to!

I usually have no problems with color but this last bottle was extremely thick and would not even come out the bottle , I made the home bigger in the bottle and still just too thick! Basically wastes almost a whole bottle of color

I changed my color request to add some gold tone. It’s was just plain dark brown. I don’t see any gold tone. It’s very dark, which is ok, but without a bit of gold tone, it seems too dark

Estoy muy desepcionada realmente, el color no era el esperado y voy a pensar qué tal vez no supe poner el color que quería y se me oscureció mucho 😩, lo peor es que no cubrió mis canas sobretodo en el frente y seguí las instrucciones al pie de la letra, la verdad es que quiero llorar al ver mi resultado , NUNCA MÁS !!!!

This is my second time coloring with eSalon. First off, my grays do not take this color very well - I have to process for over an hour which might be why My hair feels really dry and damaged…. Also it’s auburn with red tones and I included in my review from last time that I wanted to remove the brassiness and neutralize red! It’s not the chocolate brown like I had envisioned…

Not super happy with it. My hair is more than 60% grey, it did cover quite a bit of the greys but it left my hair very dry and the colour is very brassy, where it should have been ash. Don’t think I’ll keep buying it.

I really liked the shade of color and the excellent coverage. However, I really didn't like the texture of my hair after the process. It was not full and thick feeling like I normally get from my regular products I use at home. Three stars at best

I was not very happy with my results, the color did not cover my gray hair at all. I think it needed more than the 30 minutes it said to process. Other than that the rest of my hair looks and feels great. I will give your product one more chance before I move on. January 19, 2023, So I gave it another shot and I am even more disappointed than before, it's like I didn't even put dye on my hair!!! The directions only increased the processing time by 10 minutes, from 30 to 40, well I left it on for an hour and it did not make my hair look any different, still had all my gray!! I want all my money back, this was a complete and utter waste of my time and money!!!!

I'm very disappointed with the product since the whole purpose with coloring my hair was to cover the grays and your product does not do that! The color holds on that portion of my hair that is not gray and I actually like the color that is produced but if the product will not color my gray hair there is no point in using it. Even over the counter coloring products last at least to the first shampoo before it washes out but your product makes no effort to color the grays.

Far too bright and not for my skin tone

This was my first- and last - experience of using what is supposed to be a custom colour. I filled in the survey and provided pictures and the colour they decided would be great for me is anything but. I am currently a very bright red with pink tones and it looks terrible. I'm glad a bought a demi permanent colour and not permanent but I still suspect it is going to take weeks to wash out and I'm fearful the fade will leave me with pink hair. I've just gone on to Amazon and spent more money in products that will hopefully help. Never again. I'm angry, upset and right now, worried about venturing outside with my new shade of very intense red hair.

I tried this once. Didn't care for it. The lady was really nice in Customer Service she gave me some advice. I went with it and tried 1 more time. Why I got a color plus 1. I dont know. My hair is only shoulder length and I only do my roots. Well I opened 1 package tried it as advised. Nope. It actually dries out my hair. My hair is short in areas so I can't help but it gets on the ends. Which causes more dry out. I returned to sender within the 30 days. Now I am trying to figure that process out.

Me lleve una gran decepción espere tanto el momento para que llegara mi pedido aplicarme el tinte y no me agarro nada el color literal es cómo aplicar un shampoo y ya fue todo estoy muy molesta por que quería mi pelo negro azulado para un evento y fue mi gran decepción no recomiendo para nada estos productos no sirven son una porquería

Man sieht den Übergang, da die ansazufarbe viel zu viel blond enthielt. Das auffrischen war ok. Färbe seit Jahren selbst, aber das war das schlechteste Ergebnis.

The color that I ordered was dark brown (ASH). There is no reason it should have been orange. The rest of my hair is dark enough that it’s not too terrible but my roots are orange. I get ash because I don’t want the red or orange. The kit that came with it was awesome and made coloring my hair an easy process.

Unfortunately despite following instructions very carefully the colour left greys showing & had left all grey showing in less than 2 weeks.

Recently received my color. Love the color but it stained my scalp terribly even after 5 shampoos I can't get it off and never touched the grey, no color at all on them. Believe me I followed the directions very, very carefully. Will not be reordering color again. I also ordered shampoo and conditioner and absolutely love it, hair is soft and shiney just as advertised. Will purchase shampoo and conditioner again.

My roots didn’t cover as well as i wanted, they were much lighter than my ends. I wanted a natural transition from roots to ends.

directions were clear and i accurately followed them - except that i did run fingers through hair right before washing . my greys at roots and temples were like i did nothing to them .

This color they adjusted was more brown then red.
The front where my grays are didn’t take well and the color seems to fade especially where I have gray in about a week.
The only problem I have is the gray hair coverage and the time the color fades is quicker then other box color.
Otherwise I would use this regularly.

Love the color and its lasted a longer time than any I've ever used. The problem- it dried my hair so badly it is breaking and splitting terrible and frizzy. I may have to cut my long hair off! I'm 65 yrs old, this is awful!

The color looked beautiful in the bottle. I followed the directions exactly, but sadly the color did not take well on my grey roots. My greys were a light red and the rest of my hair a dark brown.

Better experience the first time

I first tried esalon when covid first started and salons were closed. I really loved the color that was created for me. It covered my grays well. When salons reopened I stopped ordering my color but recently decided to order esalon again as I loved the original color I received. This time since time had passed from my initial esalon order I had to go through the process of answering questions and submitting a picture of my hair again. I had hoped I would be able to get my original color but understood why I had to go through their process again. Unfortunately this time around the color wasn’t what I had hoped and didn’t cover the redness from the color I had from the salon. I provided a rating of 3 as it did cover my grays but I was hoping to achieve my natural hair color which is a medium to dark ash brown. Although my hair is more brown now, there is a lot of red undertone to it.

I have really tried to like esalon. I have asked a few times for less red, orange highlights and it has never been quite right. I was told I needed to go darker for less reds etc. I went a shade darker and there's plenty red and orange, as well as it's not even blond anymore.

As a chef / cook, I can follow instructions and measurements pretty well, following the dye instructions was a piece of cake 🎂, and yet, not all my greys were covered especially in areas that were pretty saturated with the dye, I am however willing to give it another try.. hopefully a better outcome.
