Little effectThe dying process was very time consuming. In the end, I still had straggling grey hairs at the front over my face as well as stragglers throughout. I cant give less than one...My hair looks like a horrible red sofa. I can't even go out like this. Not sure how to fix it. I bought the brown copper and looks like a cheap temporary red farmacy color. I wish I could attach a pic to this review. I want to love itMy roots took the color beautifully and are the gorgeous copper color I wanted and grew up with. My ends didn't take any color and are the same brown with red showing through in the sun that I was trying to cover. (I have always had redish auburn hair naturally and switched it up and went purple. My job was not pleased so I went brown to cover the purple.) It was too dark & it didn’t last past 10 washesThe color was darker than I wanted so the colorist has adjusted it. The solution was hard to get to come out of the bottle & was hurting my wrist squeezing it & it would come out in clumps so that part got really messy. I will just make those clothes my coloring hair clothes. But I had to cut the end of the bottle to get it to come out easier. Not a huge deal -but was a bit frustrating. The color between roots & the rest of my hair turned out well. My hair felt a bit dryer after the color- will try again to see if that is dry damage (more harsh on my hair than Clairol) or just a fluke. I would like to see how long this color lasts to see if it’s worth the cost. It didn’t cover the gray around my face & temples like it should have & I saturated those areas. Will try it one more time to see if it’s a much better experience to justify the cost over clairol box that I normally use. I’m hopeful that this turns into a partnership but just not convinced yet.- I plan to cancel - stylist said I must go darker to cover gray but drugstore brand lighter shades cover better at a fraction of the cost. Hair color by mail? Don't hold your breath.Entering week 3 since I ordered my first hair coloring kit from ESalon, and no sign of delivery from the USPS. I'm canceling...I'll go back to picking and purchasing my own hair color from a store, since the USPS has become completely unreliable. NiceLoved the little pink box. It could be my hair but the color result should have had an ash tone to it. It turned my hair an auburn brunette. The kit said it was for roots only but that was not my intention. I wanted an all over ash blonde. The kit was nice. The result, not so much. I probably won't purchase again. ColourI put in the colour two weeks ago and followed the enclosed instructions carefully and am very happy with the colour - but I am seeing re-growth and a couple of grey hairs - should I be seeing this after only 2 weeks? the colour is very dull and darkthe colour outcome is very dark and dull compared to the picture of my hair I uploaded of what is is always like after I leave the hairdressers. I specifically stated that I wanted bright orange and this is not at all what my hair looks like it is a dull auburn and the slight orange tone that can be seen on the ends in the sunlight has not taken on the roots, so when my hair is up it just looks mousy brown and very boring. on the positive side the condition of my hair has not been impacted and the tint rinse makes my hair shiny but I am not at all satisfied with the colour :( 0 di 0 persone pensano che questa recensione sia utile. DisappointedDissatisfied I order a bottle refresher along with my root touch up and the refresher did not do anything for my hair and I end up with a hot root and yes I did follow up the proper steps this is not the first time u use e color although I was offer a credit for the refresher that did not work for my hair I end up having a 2 color tone on my hair that can only be corrected professionally because e salon couldn’t do any formula to match my hair 0 di 0 persone pensano che questa recensione sia utile. Way too messyI wasn't happy with a 2 step color treatment, but I was willing to give it a try. Worked ok but I was using Madison Reed and it's all 1 step and that is so much easier. The worst part was the final 2-3 minutes when the instructions say to put water in the bottle with the leftover color and massage it in. Well, the color got all over the bathroom vanity and into my eyes and nose and it burns. Can't do much to get the color out of my eyes since my gloved hands have color all over them. So bummed!I wanted to love this color, but unfortunately it is just BAD. I sent pictures of my current hair, a picture from their page of the color that I loved, and included a message stating exactly what I wanted. What I received yesterday is not even close. In fact, it’s not a color that anyone would want their hair to be. It’s so dark, muddy, and almost appears to be more gray! Did Not Cover GrayFirst, the color on the non gray hair was beautiful. It was warm, rich, and multidimensional. However, the gray roots did not cover well at all. They were various shades from gray, ash brown, and golden brown even though I left the coloring on my roots for 30 minutes as directed. If it had covered my gray roots I would buy again. DisappointedHello, I'm pleased with the kit, instructions and also the sticker that helps hold instructions. I'm disappointed because the color did not cover all my gray hair around my face, though it was saturated. I followed full instructions (20 minutes and 5 minutes) Step 2 instructions does not indicate to wear gloves, however shouldn't gloves be worn to color ends or are we to keep our gloves on while waiting for 20 minutes? I recommend to add a 3rd pair of gloves to kit and to add wear gloves at step 2 Instructions. To fix the gray around my face area, may I receive a free touch up kit, asking for small amount to fix area, not a full portion. Not what I was hoping forThis is not the colour I was hoping for at all. It was a lot darker than I hoped it would be. I have pretty much juts gone back to my natural colour and that is not what I had in mind. It may have been a miscommunication so I will try again and hopefully we will get it right next time. I hate my hair colorIam pale and this color darkest brown with golden undertones makes my hair almost black. I had no idea it would wash me out this bad. If you have grey hair, this might not work for you.Given that the pandemic has made us all into our own hairdressers, I thought a hair color subscription--of sorts--would be an excellent idea. And, this service is amazing. I really appreciated the details that went into my order (ie extra pair of gloves). That said, the product itself was lacking considerably. While I liked the no-mess formula, there was not enough product to cover my roots entirely. Even the front and side sections which were fully covered came out with about 50% coverage. I have black hair, but have been dyeing it since I started going prematurely grey. Décevant !La couleur est beaucoup plus foncé que mon choix, pourtant j'avais mis des photos. De plus j'ai des reflets roux (je déteste) alors que j'ai demandé un blond foncé doré.... Poor grey coverage and insufficient productI have hair that is just past my shoulders and quite thick. I had sent in a photo of my hair and emphasized the results i wanted to achieve. I had a friend help with application and it quickly became clear that there was not enough of the colour. Not impressedThis is not the colour I requested at all, definitely nothing like the inspiration pictures I have sent with my request. I ordered Light Brown Copper and what it turned out to be on my head was dark brown mahogany with a tint of purple.. I'd understand if it was my roots that didn't pick up the colour but 3/4 of my hair were bleached blonde so there's no excuse for them not to turn out correctly. Cannot seem to get the colorist to let me be the blonde girl I've always been.I'm not having much luck getting to the color I want. Initially was told I'd need to go darker strawberry to transition to the light strawberry I opted for (given that the only other color that was recommended/permitted was the same light brown that grows, free of charge, out of my head). Went dark strawberry, way too dark for my comfort but an apparently necessary stop on the way to a lighter strawberry...Also way too gold so I went elsewhere to buy toner because eSalon doesn't sell toner. (???) Explained all of this to my colorist when it came time to adjust my color and was assured that they would adjust my next order accordingly. Received notification that my new color was about to be shipped, an entirely different color as per the formula pie chart. But only color for my roots. Went back and forth with my colorist (not least because the cost of coloring my entire head had gone from $12 to $70?!?) but eSalon, to it's credit, threw in an extra bottle of color so my roots and ends would match. Colored a couple of weeks ago, new color is still really dark, and really gold. Had to go out and buy toner again. I don't understand why this is happening- it's not like I'm trying to get from black to platinum here, people. If my colorist refuses to make with the bleach this next time around I will be cancelling for good. No point spending money and taking the time to do this myself if I can't get something close to what makes me feel like me. Two stars because the packaging is beautiful, instructions are really easy to follow, and customer service always gets right back to me. The only good thing is that it covered the grey hairUnfortunately, I did not get what I wanted and I what I was looking for. I wanted lighter colour, given options were not close enough to what I want. Unfortunately, the colour appeared a bit too dark, more into the black side. I was following precisely all instructions but... Not sure I will reorder it as there was too much of ammonium as well. I know that you will say that to colour grey hair you need ammonium... mmm... not sure, as it was well coloured in Aveda salons, definitely there was not as much of it as I got in this pack. I have not had a head ache after colouring for a long time and this time I've got it. I know there is no one cure for everyone, I am sure there are customers with great results. I didn’t for me! I would not recommend it!This arrived a few day in the mail. It’s well packaged and all. i was so excited to open it and use it. Well i finally used it and it did not work. My sister latter may hair with the solution. as in did it in small section to not miss and hair! After following the instructions it did not work! My gray hair that was pretty obvious for us to miss is still the same. I mean not even a hint of color got absorbed. The other thing is the chemical smell was so strong and it smelled for a few day after the first washing. I’m so disappointed not going to purchase again! I would not recommend this. Great color but lasts 2 weeks before grays appear and color fades outLike the way my hair feels and the hair color does not have a strong ammonia color. Wash my hair every other day. Gray coverage lasts 2 weeks then return. Have tried root touch up and same is true. Follow all of the directions but still feel the color fades too quickly. Farbe schön; deckt weiß nicht abDie Farbe ist heller und honigfarbener als erwartet. Leider werden weiße Haare gar nicht abgedeckt. Dabei war dies der Grund die Coleration zu bestellen. Wasn't what I asked forI've been asking to even out my hair for months and they keep sending the same thing so I am wasting my time. Unfortunately not for meIve had 3 attempts with esalon. I wanted a nice medium copper red. First time it was more rose gold and faded very quickly, got in touch and they changed the colour, but again it was still more rose gold than copper, changed the colour again but still not happy with it. I’ve now gone back to box dye. Shame really, because the idea is great. Not covering my greys anymoreThis was my 3rd colour and unfortunately, I have decided not to order again as the colour fades off my grey hair in 2 to 3 weeks. colour the grey rootsThe first time I bought the colour it worked really well but the most recent application did not work so good. I only want to cover the grey which it did but for only a week whereas the previous time it lasted much longer. Maybe I should leave it on for longer than 15 minutes? Hair unchangedI was so very excited to get my first hair coloring! But I was very disappointed. My hair did not change. I followed the directions and did everything.
