As it turns out, didn't cover the gray like I thought. I see a lot of reviews with the same problem I like the products but it's too much to pay for so-so results.

I have to say I was really nervous this time coloring my hair as it had been 20 years since I last colored hair. But I had some gray and wanted to try eSalon to see what the quality is. I love the product, it went on effortlessly and was not messy, which concerned me as I have MS and my dexterity at times and shaking but it went on easily thank you. It has not fully dried yet to see the color but I think it will be pretty with my natural color. Thank you for the quick shipment. I will be ordering again in the future.

My custom color set is wonderful and blends in with the rest of my hair well. It is comparable to going to the salon. Great to be able to have such a good match at home designed just for me! I would suggest this to anyone.

From the semi permanent rinses and toners, to the touchup set with the developer, you guys have really helped me work with my silver hair when I know it's not a specific color you do. The little potions I make from all of the princes and semi permanent non-damaging things are actually keeping my cool silver boulder each time I use them, and that cannot be better for someone like me who plays around with their hair as frequently as someone might change an outfit before leaving the house –I have been of course looking into all of the incredibly beautiful silver spectrums for cool toned grays etc. and I'm just falling more and more in love with the lilac tints that I'm seeing really start to show up that are now dominating the previously more visible blue while my hair is in fading breaks between more color- so I want to go a little bolder!, and kind of boost up these cold pinks and purples that im starting to notice, and it looks like adding a bit of your guises Irish lilac color on the fantasy color pages list or something similar in this blend without changing anything else – I still definitely want to keep the same concentration of the cold ash tone blue that we have in there because that's what keeps the base going so my hair stays looking really icy ash but I've noticed after playing around with bits of pastel semi permanent color creams from other brands that the lilac streaks show up so beautifully blending and touching the blue in such a sweet, cold sun kiss. I just got my recent order yesterday. And with this tint rinse I got this time in the purple/pink sort of color I confirmed that it just washes in beautifully!! so, thinking of how beautiful a few drops of that would be for the permanent dye set as well to really add that extra flair :-)

I've been a customer since 2013 and have no idea why I haven't added a review yet but here I am now. There aren't many companies that I've stayed with for over 10 years but eSalon is one of them. Their products are fantastic with excellent colorists available right away to make any adjustments. I was very hesitant to dye my hair since it had never been processed with color before. I knew I wasn’t quite ready to go spend salon money so based on the great reviews online and how to videos, I decided to give this a shot. Not only was the process super easy, but the stylist team was extremely helpful in formulating the right color choice for me. The process was easy and while the color wasn’t an exact match to start, it still looked nice. I reached out to my stylist and she recommended one shade darker and sent me a whole other kit at no cost! I haven’t used it yet, but have total confidence that it will be another great experience!

I just tried eSalon for the first time. I had grays and root growth, with old color from a salon. I was nervous about getting everything covered and colored right. I could not be more thrilled! Roots and grays are gone, and my hair is one color, and it looks fabulous! I've been paying at least $150 for salon color for decades. I'm so glad I discovered this company!

This is a good product for the price. I didn't have time before my appointment with my hair dresser so I brought it to the shop and he did it for me. He loved the product toll me to keep buying it it was not harsh on my hair. I normally do my dying at home. Love the product get the correct color and the gray is gone.

I've been trying to achieve this shade with home color and with salon visits for a long time. And it never turned out to be what I was looking for. Until now. How the colorist at eSalon nailed it on the first color they sent out I will never know, but no matter how they got there, with little more than a picture of my then current colored hair, I am amazed and thrilled!

Great instructions, with everything needed in the kit. May need to re-evaluate the color for the next coloring, but the gray is all gone. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling not over-processed at all.

13x habe ich meine Haare nun schon mit esalon coloriert und jedes mal denke ich "wow", weil meine Haare wirklich super werden! Ich liebe den Farbton, die Anwendung ist easy und das Ergebnis top. Einem Stern Abzug, da die Farbe bei mir leider schnell verblasst.

My custom color is perfect! My store bought color usually came out too dark and took a few days to fade down to the color I wanted. This was a totally different experience! The color looked great immediately after washing and styling. My hair looks much healthier too. Very happy I made the switch.

Nach einem kurzen Telefongespräch wegen dem Farbton, , bevor ich eure Haarfarbe benutzt habe ( hab noch ein paar Tage Mut gebraucht 😊 ) habt ihr den perfekten Ton getroffen! Sehr angenehmer Geruch und auch meine Kopfhaut, die etwas empfindlich ist, war absolut zufrieden… sehr mild! Super Ergebnis!

Genevieve mixed my color and what a beautiful job she did! This is a blend of my natural colors. I’m a light golden blonde with red tones. As I’ve gotten older more blonde and now grey has been coming through. This color from Esalon and Genevieve nailed it! Definitely will ordering again. Thank you!

I have been blonde all my life. When I took the test to see what colors goes with my skin color I was surprised it said mahogany. I had always wanted red hair but was to afraid. I took a chance and OMG I love my hair color. I have gotten a lot of complement on it.

I am so happy with the results of my eSalon colour! My last purchase of colour seemed “off,” from the previous orders. I applied the product and noticed that the colour didn’t take. I phoned customer service, and without any hassles, a new kit was promptly mailed out. The agent was kind and courteous. I applied the new delivery and the results are 100% gorgeous! PS eSalon colorists have managed to match my natural deep strawberry blonde hair PERFECTLY!

This was the easiest and best color brand I’ve used. I’ve been coloring my hair for years, at home and the salon, and I’m extremely happy with this company. It didn’t stain my skin, easy to wash out and didn’t stain my shower. The gloves actually fit my hands. My hair doesn’t feel dried out like other brands have done. Overall, amazing! Definitely will be recommending.

I seem to be in between light brown and medium brown, so I have been buying two colors at target and mixing. I tried Madison Reed but couldn't get a brown without so much red in it. I love the medium brown I have tried twice. It seems to match perfectly. I am happy with e salon and would recommend them.

Finally got the colour I've always wanted from a salon but never had. Love that it matches with my own hair perfectly so looks more natural. Looks great añd had lots of compliments from people. This was the first time i colour my hair at home and not at the salon. I was very nervous and scared the colour would be too bright as i tend to get “hot roots” The colour is perfect!
I prefer it over my salon colour. Application was somewhat easy , I’m sure i will get quicker with practice.
The smell of the product was actually pleasant unlike the horrible smell from the salon. I will be using eSalon from now on. Thank you

I was super nervous to do this as I’ve always only went to a salon but to my surprise it turned out well! I did have some help with the back since it was my first time. It took longer than intended due to me going so slow and having longer hair. I think next time I will be able to be faster. I’m so glad I took a chance and did this. My hair is so shiny and soft now! If I can do this, anyone can!

Purchased my products and was excited when they came. How wonderful to get a beautiful box set up so nicely with my name on the product. Followed instructions and my hair looks and feels fabulous. Sent an invite to a girl friend who ordered and she has already received her products. She too was so excited and I received credits for her purchase already. I could not be happier. Took some adjustments but my color is perfect!

My hair is grey and I have been trying to get a light reddish gold color. I've been working with my colorist over five orders and the roots were too bright compared to the shaft. I almost gave up but decided to try one more time. Am I glad I did! We had to have one color for the roots and another for the shaft and this time it was perfect! Hang in there and give your feedback if you're not happy. They listen and eventually you'll get what you want.

I am stunned at how beautiful my color turned out. I love how I did my roots a golden brown and then just gold from there to the ends, my hair looks so natural when I look in the mirror. I am so happy!
