I absolutely love my custom colour, it looks so good and very shiny. Lots of people have commented on how much it suits me. I have been trying for a long time to find the perfect colour and now I have, I couldn’t be more pleased.

I have used “drug store” colors and had my hair professionally colored. Esalon is a great mix of both worlds. The convenience of at home, any time of day coloring with the color and quality of the color comparable to a Salon. Best of all, my color arrives on my doorstep.

First time coloring with esalon, and have to say I’m very impressed! I’ve colored my hair many times both at home and at the salon, and esalon is a really nice, affordable and convenient hybrid of the two. It really is salon quality color, but without the long appointment or high end salon pricetag. My color is shiny, has excellent coverage on my grays, and is exactly the shade I expected from the online quiz. I called the support line with a question before getting started and they were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I never would have thought of going to a dark blonde since my natural color is light to medium brown. I always had to leave my color (over the counter) on too long to cover the gray & it always came out too dark for me. I love the dark blonde color they set me up with. My hair is soft & I love it! I am getting the color 1 shipment at a time, since I don't care for auto shipping on anything. But I may have to change it to auto ship!!

I sent a picture and my consultant mixed the perfect color match! I’ve used other professional color at home but none of them come out as shiny and vibrant as theirs! Idk why that is!?? So to me it’s worth the extra$ it might cost to pick up all the components yourself- the color system they use is just superior to others!

I am very happy with the results of my color! I am so glad I found this site! First I ordered what I thought would be a great color, I am glad I sent a picture of myself though. They recommended a different color because of my skin tone. I am very glad I listened, the color is awesome. My boyfriend of 6 years told me it makes me look very different and quite a bit younger cause it seems like my natural color (which he hasn’t seen since Ive dyed my hair myself trying to chose my most natural since before him, always failed) , I told him it IS my natural! They succeeded in something I’ve tried for years! Store bought colors are not for me anymore!
The staff is awesome! They were there for me every step. I love esalon!

Not only is this amazing color that stays quite a long time and covers the gray wonderfully but my hair has stopped falling out. When I use the over-the-counter hair colors I would lose handfuls of hair daily in the shower. My hair is no longer falling out and it looks fuller and the color is beautiful! I would recommend it to anyone!

You know you're on to something great when your stylist says your hair looks great. I have gone to a salon for color and paid $140/month for many, many years. I decided I had nothing to lose by at least trying this service. I can't believe that I actually like it BETTER than going to the salon for color. I feel silly for spending all of that money for so long. This is really good stuff and the support for adjustments, ideas is wonderful.

I thought I would try this novel way to get custom color. Guess what? I LOVE it. The items are very well packaged and I love the fact that the instructions, etc., are customized with my name! How cool is that. The color takes great. I have been coloring my hair for many years myself so am especially impressed at this system. I get professional results at home. And the support is fantastic. I will never go back to store boxes again.

Love my color and it lasts longer..... but really I don't color my hair often. Maybe twice a year lol It's great tho if you color often, have a thick head of hair or love to change your color often. :) Go for it!! You only live once and hair (usually) grows back... lol

So far so good..! (been coloring without problems for 38 years, but then - 1 accidental lightening episode ..😣😕🧐🤓🤪.... ) I'm normally a very dark, ash brown, almost a gray black. My family has little gray even into our 70's, if we're healthy, and I'm 56 with just a few gray/white hairs around my ears and creeping over the top of my head. I like my dark hair and don't match gray very well... (hate getting old, too!), so ..
so - So - I’m sure this accident of my red roots with long, blackish-red ends, as the base that I’m testing eSalon on, will be a bear to grow out, 🐻🐻🐻
- but - after just doing the temporary, eSalon treatment tonight, I like what I’m seeing... I ordered Darkest Brown, Matte-Ash to obliterate the red, and gradually grow out and eliminate the blacker long hair with lightening. Basically, a double-down treatment of naturally bringing my roots back to normal, letting my hair just grow out the black, and also lightening up, toward the roots, to get black out, as well.
The color is really still a bit too red for me, but I am happy that my roots are closer to an ash brown. Because I wear long layers, and curl my hair, I don't ever get "hmm.. what's with the color, Tanya..?" from anyone.. Just "man you have the most gorgeous hair!! I know you by your hair! I could tell it was you by your hair!"......
If I mess anything up, I just let it grow out and use a wash-out color to blend the mistakes. But this one is the biggest one I've ever done... LOL.. whew..
I missed a few grays right by my ears, which is not like me because I go there, and my forehead, firstly, and I know I saturated them very well... I'm thinking what I really should have done is kept the color on for at least 30 minutes, knowing my hair, but I followed the instructions of 10 on roots, and 5 on ends. I did a little longer, but not 30 minutes. Next time, i will go the full 30.

What I like about this is there is someone who follows up and if you want to change your color it's easy. They also contact you before getting your color ready to make sure you are ready for a new set. Plus my color consultant really cares about my color outcome, by sharing her concerns. I love my new color it's a little bit lighter and that's ok. Thank you!

I didn't think I could colour my own hair, but with the instructions and a bit of help from my boyfriend I managed to make it perfect. I love my colour and my hair is so soft and shiny! Definitely great product for the price :)

I am an all gray, 40 year old that has been dying my hair for over 20 years now. So when I say I have used all the products out there and had many a salon visit under my belt, that’s the truth! . I, like most, cannot afford to get my hair done in a salon every 2-3 weeks like my roots require. eSalon has been a great experience in that I love the color, the dye covers my gray 100%, and the cost is affordable. I am always a little cautious about using DIY hair colors - mostly because with my natural ash (and now grays) turn out brassy with just about EVERY color, but this really is great. The color is a natural brown with just a hint of gold, the instructions were easy to follow, and my hair itself feels super soft. I would recommend this

A very good product. They send plenty of dye and haven’t run out. It was very nice they sent two bottles in the first shipment. I would have given this 5 stars except that I wanted my hair to have a purple tinge in the sun.

I have colored my hair for so many years I can't even say how many. I have tried the store bought kits, then a beauty supply store. They were ok but never totally covered my grey and i had more grey showing in just a couple weeks. The first time I tried this I loved how it went on, it covered ALL my grey and after 4 weeks I barely saw grey at my roots. I had my color adjusted and it is perfect!!! I am recommending eSalon to anyone that I know who colors their hair. Love it!! Oh and did I mention how nice it is to have the kit (which includes everything you need) delivered to my door.

I was really pleased with the colour thanks. It looks really natural and my hair is in great condition after applying it. The tools to apply the dye were great too, although I'd recommend getting someone else to help so that you can make sure you've got full coverage.

I just used it last night and the products seem very high quality. The smell is so much better than what I've been using. And I do love the color. It's hard to say today how it holds up, but the coverage is great, even those pesky areas were colored, like the sideburn area, that sometimes do not take the color! Very happy! Will be using again!

My stylist is the best hands down! She understands color even over the phone! I called her with my “hot root” issue and she customized a whole new color set for me and shipped it out right away for my super important business week & I was thrilled; no more hot roots!
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the first time I used it my roots were so super dry! Boar hair is softer. Lol Maybe I did something wrong and I’m in the process of finding out but other than that I’m in love! I’ll never go back to boxed color and I’ve been using eSalon for over 3 years now!

The color was great. It was easy to apply and the instructions were clear and concise. Following them was a breeze and left me with great coverage and a nice rich shade of copper red.
