I don’t know what happened. The first bottle that they had sent me foamed up purple. I’ve never had a hair color turned that color. My hair turned orange. I have very dark hair, so it was just my roots. But I look like a freak.

I'm going to give this another try, but I've used this twice and both times the color is beautiful, but fades. I expect it to fade some, but this color seems to fade within 2 to 3 weeks after coloring.

I have been trying for weeks to get my $ back as they send you color monthly without permission. I told them I didn't even try the first one and I don't want a 2nd hence please refund my money. So far, no money. I am going to try the product that I got on the first order and review the good, the bad and the ugly. I wondered why they called me to see if I needed help with the application.

You are told your hair photos are sent to a colourist which is a lot of rubbish . I have emailed you several times . Your dye has turned my roots ginger and my ends almost black I want fully refunded and sent a dye to fix this or I will be seeking legal advice and leaving another review on trust pilot

Ich finde das Set eigentlich gut aber es deckt nicht auf grauem Haar.Ich habe vor 1,5 Wochen mein Haaransatz nach Vorschrift gefärbt.Es sah alles sehr gut aus.Nach 3x waschen war der graue Haaransatz zu sehen,dabei wasche ich die Haare mit der Volumenhaarwäsche von eSalon,grüne Flasche.

I really loved the initial color- but now that it has been a couple weeks the color has completely faded and my hair is left lighter and brassier than before. I wanted an ash brown to take the red out, but now it seems worse than before. Really disappointed as I have had good results with this hair color before.

Followed instructions to the letter, my hair looked the same as before although it did cover my roots/greys, my old highlights were literally still there - gave up and caved in to a shop bought box dye, very disappointed as this was the second time after being unhappy with first colour outcome. Didn’t even bother using the highlight/balayage kit I bought.

Incroyable, j'en reviens pas, la couleur est parfaite, j'ai adoré la nuance supplémentaire pour les longueurs.
Petit bémol : je regrette d'avoir jetée la moitié du flacon étape 1 : Racines, trop grandes quantités quand on l'associe à l'étape 2 pour les Longueurs.
J'ai le cuir chevelu très sensible, et malheureusement cette coloration n'est pas une exception, je tenterai la prochaine fois de faire un bain d'huile sur le crâne, pour aider à mieux la supporter.

Noch nicht so wie vorgestellt

Zuerst hatte ich mich nicht herangetraut da ich befürchtet hatte, es wäre zu dunkel oder zu rot. Dann war es eher das Gegenteil - einen Rotton erkenne ich gar nicht und das Braun hatte ich mir dunkler vorgestellt. Die Grauabdeckung ist ok, gerade am Haaransatz zum Gesicht würde ich mir da noch etwas mehr wünschen.
Die Anwendung fand ich eher schwierig, die Haare fühlten sich auch nach der Maske stark verklebt und schwer zu kämmen an und die Dusche brauchte nach dem Ausspülen eine Grundreinigung da die Farbe stark an den Fließen haften blieb.
Was die Haltbarkeit angeht: dazu kann ich noch nicht viel sagen da das Färben erst 6 Tage her ist.
Alles in allem bin ich noch nicht zu 100% überzeugt ob ich weiter machen möchte, ich würde aber einen zweiten Versuch angehen wollen.

J’ai spécifiquement écrit et envoyé une photo de mes racines pour dire que j’adorais ma couleur sur les longueurs mais que malheureusement elle était trop flou sur mes racines blanches. J’ai reçu une nouvelle couleur. Non seulement elle ne correspond pas à ce que je veux ( la même que précédemment) mais elle n’a ps fonctionne du tout sur mes racines. J’ai donc du acheter un spray pour colorer mes cheveux blancs. Donc j’ai dépensé de l’argent chez vous et aussi au supermarché. J’aurais mieux fait d’aller chez le coiffeur. Enfin… je n’ai pas du tout apprécié le contenu de cette seconde couleur. Pas see de produit. Pas de différence entre couleur racines et couleur longueurs. Bref … très déçue.

I have grays around my forehead and my biggest issue is covering them. Well this didn’t work either. And my hair has a very red tint to it when the color was brunette. I can get the exact same result for half the price at the drug store. Very disappointed

Ich wollte einen kühlen Braunton. Hab es extra ins Feld an den Coloristen eingetragen und ein Foto meiner Haare mitgeschickt. Wurde leider komplett ignoriert und ich hatte rotstichige Haare. Also genau das, was ich NICHT wollte.

I was hoping for cherry brunette hair bits pretty much just black with sort of purplish black roots. It’s much darker than I’d hoped.

I finally got round to using this, I need someone to help me so had to wait until someone was available. It has only covered some of the greys, the ones at my parting are still very much grey. It has not changed the colour on my lengths at all. I ordered a chocolate brown, but my hair has the same reddish brown it had before. My hair feels like straw. I won't be using again.

Colour was to light, tried to go back and change my options but it wouldn’t let me.
Biggest issue was how dry it made my hair, never had anything like it. Felt like straw while washing out, didn’t like that I could only have the option of purchasing when I wanted, instead was only given the option of continuous purchasing.
Found somewhere else that is more user friendly and a product that didn’t make my hair feel like it was going to snap.

I would NOT RECOMMEND if you have any gray hair at all, I specifically told them I have hard to cover grays when ordering. I colored for the first time yesterday and I’ve gotten better results from a drug store box coloring kit. Sent an email and all they said was sorry we will adjust for next order. Well that doesn’t help me now and the reason for the color was my 50th bday. Guess I won’t be coving my grays for my birthday. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

The first time there were two bottles of color one for the roots one for the ends. My hair is thick and medium length i had plenty. The second month was only one bottle of color. I have a pretty decent chunk that didn’t get colored properly because i didn’t have enough so that was kind of disappointing. I didn’t know it wasn’t 2 bottle each time.

Zu rot geworden.

Die Anwendung war einfach, und die Haare fühlen sich nach der Anwendung sehr gepflegt und gesund an. Auch die Farbe ist schön gleichmäßig geworden und wirkt natürlich.
Allerdings entspricht der Farbton leider nicht
meiner Vorstellung und dem Bild, das ich mitgeschickt hatte. Ich hatte mir einen natürlichen, leuchtenden Kupferton mit orangenen Reflexen gewünscht – ohne Rotstich. Das Ergebnis ist mir zu rot und geht eher in eine Richtung, die mir farblich einfach nicht steht. Gerade, weil ich Rottöne an mir nicht mag und sie mich blass wirken lassen, hatte ich auf ein wärmeres, orange-betontes Kupfer gehofft, so wie ich es auch kommuniziert hatte.

does not last

I am disappointed in the product because it simply does not last. I think the color is great the first week and by the third week I have a whole new different color which is much lighter than the original and brassy. I am canceling my future orders because it's not a good value for me and I shouldn't have to color my hair every 2-3 weeks to have a great color. Very disappointing.

Obwohl beim Auftragen die Farbe noch sehr intensiv rot aussah, ist der Ansatz eher eine Mischung aus dunkelblond und Kupfer geworden. Ich hatte mir aber ein intensives rot erhofft.

I requested an ash blond color for my thick, shoulder length hair. Unfortunately, the end result was dry, dull hair with way too much gold. The shampoo provided dried my hair terribly and the tiny amount of conditioner that was in the kit didn't even cover one eight of my hair. My hair feels and looks like dried out straw. Instead of providing silly extras like stain-remover and extra gloves, why doesn't esalon simply provide a sufficient amount of conditioner like L'Oreal does? Very disappointed.

As I explained, my hair pulls red, now it is ruined. You promised you can pick the color that it would not happen. You truly cannot test a site, without disrupting the mixture. I followed step by step. I loved the packaging, presentation. So dissatisfied with the , “red”!

Je n'ai pas l'impression d'avoir fait une coloration.
Le cuivré n'est pas du tout visible.
Je suis simplement châtain comme d'origine, alors que châtain clair cuivré demandé avec accentuation sur le orangé et non rouge.
Je vais devoir attendre 2 mois avant de tenter une autre coloration si je ne veux pas abîmer mes cheveux.
J'attends de voir les modifications suite à ma demande et mon résultat insatisfaisant.
J'ai mis 2 etoiles car le point positif c'est que les cheveux blancs sont bien couverts.

Somewhere in between chestnut and a darker brown. Definitely not light. My hair was blonde before this dye. It is now incredibly dark with red-orange tones thanks to esalon’s “recommendations.” This has ruined any chance I had of getting a light brown. Super disappointed. Would not recommend esalon at all.

Didn’t send what I ordered!

I’m a redhead or at least I was until I went gray. I ordered a color that I thought would give me back my red hair. eSalon decided, sight unseen, that I needed a color that was different from the one I ordered.
I used that color today and I hate it! It really didn’t cover the gray. It’s not really red and my roots are pink. Did I say I hate it bc I really really hate it!
Now I don’t know what to do. I don’t think I can color it again for a minute, so I’m stuck with awful color!!! Thanks eSalon!

Great idea for personalised colour.

It is a lovely idea as you can get hair colour adjusted for you and delivered to your door. Nice and easy way to use. However the colour is not holding on my hair for long and it washes away. Also shampoo added contains SLS. It is absolutely impossible to find on line how to stop subscription.

When I did my color profile I actually I sent pictures, my current color, my expectation, I think yo do not even see it, the color I got is not even close the color you told me I will get, "I hate it" I was thinking give you another chance but after see my hair at the mirrow everywhere I just want to cancel my suscription, simply I hate this color.

I paid for a custom shade that, once done and dyed, was much darker than what I'd selected, looked like a popular brand I could've bought for less than half the cost but didn't because I wanted a lighter, coppery gold shade, not a dark tangerine ginger,
But even on trying to own it and be happy with the wrong shade for a while, it started fading on the second wash and looked terrible anyway.
Just get a regular boxdye down the shops if you want to do hair at home, it'll be the same result.

Product came quickly and with easy directions. Like the color match…I sent a picture and I think that was helpful. Only problem is the grey is starting to show through 1 week in and I don’t have extra product to touch up.

So I was really hoping last time was a fluke but now I received my second order and I followed the instructions to a t and I am really orange this time. No one responded to my emails so I am trying some other company products to see if I can somehow tone down the orange though my hair will never be the blond I asked for. (I am naturally blond with some grays) I am never doing this again and its back to the professional who actually knows how to mix color. Very disappointed in the product and the customer service this time.

Sehr enttäuschend. Die Farbe ist beim 2. mal färben nun einfach rausgefallen. Ebenso war es nach dem Färben auffällig hell und rötlich. Dies hatte nichts mit meiner Wunschfarbe zutun. Es lag definitv nicht am falscher Anwendung. Einwirkzeit ebenso nicht zu kurz. Gestern habe ich mit Hersteller Poly gefärt und das hat perfekt gehalten. . Ich habe das Abo storniert.

I was impressed with the packaging, shipment, customer service and quality of the product however the colour that I wanted happened to be so absolutely different to how it actually turned out. I am utterly shocked as it was so dark and can’t even see any red tone.

I wanted auburn ginger hair, but i ended up with quite a vibrant red. Also, I have very long hair, and there was not enough dye to cover my whole head so I had a large portion of hair undyed. My fear is I will need to keep purchasing and adjusting my colour to get to the actual colour I want, which can be very time consuming and costly in the long run. I wonder if going to an actual salon may actually be the best option when colouring or changing the colour of your hair. Although I do like the care put into the website and the support you get, aswell as detailed video tutorials.

The color is so dark!!!! It’s almost black. My hair was a golden medium brown. My natural hair growing in was lighter than current color. I asked for my color to be lightened. I was told couldn’t be done. What I didn’t expect was for color to be soooo dark compared ro my dyed color; and worst it’s darker than my natural brown hair. My hair looks black. Very disappointed.

I waited so long for this to get here I think it took 5 or 6 weeks to here and by the it got here I had already colored my hair. I had to wait a month but I got sick so it was delayed again. So I finally tried it and I was so disappointed.There was no no light copper that I wanted. I sent a photo of my hair clearly showing the color that I wanted and picked it out of you color chart and even told you to make a little redder. I texted you he informed you what had happen and all you said was I'll send you a free shipment of it. I stated that I didn't want it because it was the wrong color only for them to come back with the same answer. I asked to talk to a supervisor and they said someone would be calling me soon. I never heard from them.

I gave this a fare try with 4 uses, and found that it fades faster than the store box color I use. It's not worth the money to me. Also, I cancel my subscription over the phone with CS the day I received the next months box and got a refund. Then I end up getting another box this last month that I didnt want! Turns out they didn't cancel my subscription like I requested! So, I went online into my account and cancel it this time myself! I'm going to be extremely mad if I receive another box of this junk hair dye again!

Ich hatte lange Haare bei der Bestellung angegeben, doch leider war die Menge schon sehr knapp bemessen.
Des weiteren hatte ich Mittelblond angegeben, aber der Ton ist zu dunkel, es ist eher Aschblond.

I haven’t received the product yet and was purchased since January 10.

Very disappointed after purchasing a colour for the first time and haven’t get the order yet when I looked at the account and said that I was in flex plan meaning that they will get money from my card no permission I did for this. Again the first order haven’t got it yet.

Color is way off

I tried this for the first time… sent pictures of where my hair is and what i (wanted to get close to (extensions that i wanted to wear) I even spoke to a colorist on the phone to be sure we were on the same page and answer any questions. My hair is not even close and barely red, when it should have been a copper color

Initially perfect colour

I’ve slightly added more red to my copper which I love however when washed off the colour was a slightly different colour to my roots. Today I have washed it for the first time an my roots are now noticeably orange in comparison the the red hair. I followed instructions with second bottle and left on the end all over colour for recommended time. Tax disappointed ☹️

Esta ocasión, el tinte no cumplió mis expectativas. Al aplicarlo como se indica en las instrucciones, lo dejé posar el tempo indicado y no cubrió las canas por completo. Llevo dos lavadas y ya se cayó el tinte de las canas por completo.
