I like the product, but I love the little packets of the shampoo better.
The shampoo in the bottle doesn't lather or make my hair feel as clean as those little packets.

This shampoo is great after color, it seems delicate enough to complement the coloring procedure, before the conditioner. But I feel that, when used alone, it leaves my hair a bit on the dry side and I really really need a good amount of conditioner to feel "safe". Good product, though, I would recommend.

This shampoo is the first I've used that truly makes my natural curly hair feel smooth without frizz. The reason for the four stars rather than five, is that the pump dispenser is extremely difficult to use in the shower - it delivers the tiniest blob of shampoo and pumping it eight times to get a more decent sized blob is rather tiresome. `Please improve the pump / delivery.

I really like this shampoo. My color remained vibrant far longer than when I used regular shampoo. My only issue was the pump for the shampoo; it broke, so I just unscrewed the top and poured out the amount needed.

Love the way my hair feels after using this product! But I have a lot of allergies and something in this shampoo makes my scalp itch. I won't be able to use it, so I gave it to a friend that loves it, too.

...but I was firstly disappointed by the amount of product that was in the bottle to begin with. I have long and somewhat full hair so it took a great deal of shampoo just to get a decent lather. Which is the second part I was kind of upset about. I can understand the Color Enhancing Treatment not lathering up as well because it's not a shampoo, but the shampoo was foaming up the same way as the treatment and felt almost dry in my hair (if that makes sense). I fear this shampoo will finish within two weeks with how much is in the bottle and it would get extremely pricey if I had to continuously buy it over and over. I pay $30 for a huge bottle of It's a 10 and it lasts me at least two to three months. However, I did really enjoy the smell of the shampoo and I'll keep using it because eSalon is great with hair products in general and I've really had no other complaints.

This is a good product, however, just like the conditioner, this bottle is too small, needs to be bigger. Otherwise, love the product and how my hair feels and looks after each use!

I love this shampoo, it's not super leathery though and also the pump it kinda annoying bc I'm in the shower pumping it a hundred times because one pump is the size of a pea ... other than that I love

My only complaint is that the size of the bottle its 8.5 oz and I am used to getting bigger bottles of shampoo and conditioner so I would have to buy more to get what i need for my hair

The only reason I rated this product as 4 stars instead of 5 stars is due to the container and the pump mechanism. I love the shampoo and it keeps my color longer, which I appreciate. However, the pump doesn't always work and it takes many hard pushes to get hardly any product out at all. I wish these shampoos and conditioners came in a squeeze tube-like container - more like the travel sizes. That would be so much easier and I would feel like I wasn't wasting any product. And, yes, I have tried different methods of using the pump and no matter what I have done, it has not worked well in most cases. So, keep the formulated shampoo and drop the container! That would make me give it 5 stars.

The shampoo is good but I prefer a less sudsy shampoo. I does leave your hair clean without damaging your hair dye... my preference is the color safe volumizing shampoo by eColor.

I don't really like this shampoo as much as the one in the pink bottle. This one tends to make the frizzes more prominent after blow drying and straightening. I have a brand new bottle of the shampoo and conditioner, never opened. I would like to trade it for the other shampoo and conditioner. I will be requesting that.

This shampoo does not dry out your hair but keeps it soft, smooth and helps maintain the color. Although it does not foam-up like commercial brands, my scalp always feels clean.

I enjoy this shampoo, it cleans well and my hair feels super soft afterwards, one downside is the pump I find I have to pump it quite a few time to get the amount I need! Another this is I can't use this shampoo with conditions , my hair gets too greasy and weighed down if I do. I have to use the leave in conditioner afterwards instead.
Other than that it is great if you have dry or damaged hair!

I love the smell of this product. I just wish like I said with the conditioner that it was a bigger bottle with a higher capacity pump. Other than that I love it!

I love the fruity aroma. One thing different about this shampoo compared to others is that instead of a lot of lather, it has a thicker more luxurious consistency. The only downside is the small size of the bottle because it takes quite a few pumps of shampoo to wash my hair. Other than that, this shampoo is my favorite.

This is the first shampoo I've used that doesn't take my color out of my hair. The pump bottle could be better made as it only gives out a drop with each pump. So 50 pumps later I might have enough to put on my long hair.

I don't use anything else the first two weeks I wash my hair, which is only 1-2 times per week, if that. I ONLY use this shampoo and conditioner for my hair after I color because it works really well at cleaning the scalp, but not stripping my color.

I wish there was a bit more "lather" but my hair is clean and shiny so it works how it should. I purchased this in Aug 2015 and still have not purchased more - shampooing twice a week, waist long hair.

Really love Lock It Shampoo. The pump bottle has some issues in my opinion. It doesn't deliver enough product with each pump. I have to pump 10-12 times to get enough shampoo to wash my hair. Also, the pump mechanism breaks sometimes. I would also like to recieve a larger portion of product for the price. The product itself is awesome.

I absolutely adore this shampoo. Now if I could just get a pump that would unlock/lock properly. My last two orders had the same issue. But I love the shampoo & it makes my color last more than twice as long as before.

I see a lot of the unhappy comments are about the pump and the lack of lather. Just because it doesn't lather doesn't mean it isn't doing it's job. The pump doesn't give you a ton of product so you'll need a few pumps (depending on the length of your hair) to get the job done. I have come to find that the dirtier my hair, the better the lather.
I tend to use pretty "nice" products on my hair (Oribe, Alterna, Pureology, etc.) and in regard to condition of my hair and management of color I really think that this shampoo is pretty comparable.

It is so unlike me to repeat using the same hair products as i rarely love them enough. But I like this shampoo/ conditioner combo and repeat my order. The pump top gets a massive thumbs up as it's easy and quick to dispense- I hate screw tops. Only 4 stars as I'm not 100% sure how effective it is in preserving my colour if I'm honest.
