Co washes are great for dry,over-processed or mature hair. I think anyone over 40 should really stop using reg shampoo and use coach or cleansing conditioners predominantly to keep aging hair from being stripped of its moisture.
I'm 52 so I love what this cowash does to keep my hair shiny, and healthy. I rarely use reg shampoo anymore and I work out daily so daily washing would kill my hair, this is the solution.

Smells nice and is a nice moisturizer for your hair. Next day my scalp/roots feel greasy. I don't have oily hair. It's probably best to wash your scalp with shampoo, then use this starting an inch or so below your roots

I needed a new shampoo and conditioner so I gave this a try. What a great product, actually 2 in 1! My hair is nice and soft and manageable. Highly recommended

This CoWash is a game changer. I've never used one before so didn't really know what to expect. But wow, I've used it for the first time today and my hair feels the best it has EVER felt.
I have very thick coarse wavy/curly hair and it's never felt soft with any shampoo and conditioner. And my waves never really look great without a lot of after product.
But today, for the first time ever, my hair feels soft and is falling into the most beautiful curly waves ever. I'm totally bowled over. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

I used this hair product for the first time with my March order and was so impressed with how easy and quick it was. I have fine straight colour treated hair and these changeable weather conditions very often leave my hair a bit fly away but after Cream CoWash, my hair was soft, shiny and really manageable. Thank you esalon you have done it again, a brilliant product especially if time is short. Love it.

I have really struggled with coarse, thick hair for years. I wear it very short in order to control it but the volume is unmanageable. I ordered this with my last kit and the texture of my hair has completely changed. It’s calm, less frizzy and much easier to style. AUTOSHIP

This product truly does what it says! It cleans, conditions, and makes my hair the most manageable of anything I have ever used. I have medium short blonde (color treated with e-Salon color) thick hair and I wash my hair twice with Cream CoWash; it brings out the natural wave in my hair and makes it so easy to style. I am getting rid of my old shampoos, conditioners, and other styling products. Thank you so much for creating this outstanding product and for making my life easier.

I have very fine straight hair..baby fine...most conditioners make my hair look even flatter..
I thought I'd try this...and wow..my hair looks great..even on second day...I'm delighted..
The amount of conditioner within this is the perfect amount and does not weigh the hair down and can still easily be combed when wet.......my 50 year search has finally ended..lol

I thought this was something to use With shampoo but quickly realized it would work Instead Of. I want to shampoo everyday but my hair gets so dry . I can use this every day I want to freshen my hair but not dry it out . It makes it soft but not weighed down . I love the scent also.

I bought this to try because it was heavily discounted and I thought it would be great when I went camping and would only have to bring one bottle to wash my hair. The first time I used it and didn’t get many bubbles, I thought my hair wouldn’t be clean afterwards. Not only was it soft, shiny and beautifully manageable but it really smoothed out my color treated frizzy hair! I really love it! A week later while I was camping I took a serious fall and wound up in the hospital:rehab for 4 weeks. I used this to save the extra conditioner rinse step and it left my hair so manageable that I didn’t even need to style or blow dry it. It was really a lifesaver washing my hair after surgery! Wow! WOW! WOW!

Update: I have changed my mind. I like this even better than I thought initially.This is a keeper. I really don’t need to wash my hair more than once a week and this co-wash gives me the opportunity to refresh my hair when I have worked out or been outside in the heat. I like co-wash and I recommend it highly and order it again. I encourage you to give it a try. I feel like I’m doing something good for my hair and for my color when I use it. The way I use it is in rotation with my regular shampoo and conditioner.
In I like this Cowash, especially if I want to wash my hair more often for a special occasion or if I need a quick wash. Curls are bouncy and it works.

Love this!! I have to use a lot of it so the bottle won't last long but worth it to keep my color from fading! Red hair color fades the FASTEST (Per my esalon colorist) so it's worth it imo!! :)

This cleansing conditioner smells great and performs great. I could strictly use this product esp now that I've switched from the v light blonde to my now very dark brunette w/ Violet. It's just easier on the hair without the Goldy locks.

I was a little weary of trying this because I was worried that it might make my hair greasy and weighed down but I was so wrong. I was very pleased with the results and now this is a very important part of my hair care. My custom color is a vibrant red and I’ve learned that red fades quicker than most colors and washing my hair makes it fade even faster so I now use this between washes to keep my hair clean and soft. I’m so glad I decided to try this I get the same results I would from shampoo and conditioner without the color fading of my red hair color. This is now my “must have” of all of my hair care products.

I wash my hair 1 or 2 a week. But after either working out or a smoggy day before, didn't have a quick soothing option to get the smell out or revitalize my curly hair. Then esalon came out with this gem! Smells magnificent, energizing and leaves my hair so soft & more manageable. WTG Esalon!

I've been gushing to my girlfriends about this product! My hairy has never felt so soft and manageable. Normally, my hair is very fine but also frizzy. I really drew the short end of the stick on that one! This product give me volume and smoothness. I love it!

I have very fine hair that has been abused from years of bad colouring/infrequent cuts. In one wash this has transformed my hair (alongside the silk serum and a blowdry). I honestly can't remember the last time my hair felt this smooth and looked this healthy.

Anything to save a bit of time - this product does that without cutting corners in my hair care. I have found all in one products in the past leave my hair too fly away, but this is perfect. Great for packing when I go away - less bottles to take with me.

Ehrlich gesagt war ich vor der ersten Anwendung skeptisch, ob mein sehr langes & kräftiges Haar in einem Schritt tatsächlich ausreichend gepflegt wird.
Das Ergebnis ist der Wahnsinn: Mein Haar ist nach der Anwendung sauber, extrem gepflegt und seidig glänzend. Ohne jedes weitere Produkt lasse ich meine Haare im Anschluss an der Luft trocknen & bin ready to go.
Das Ergebnis haben die besten Kuren in der Vergangenheit eher selten erzielt!

I’m so glad I ordered this product & gave it a try. It makes my thick, frizz prone hair feel super clean & silky. I usually pile on shampoo then conditioner, but with this product, less is more. I run a small amount through my hair to the ends, leave on while I shower and then rinse off when I’ve turned the shower to a colder setting. My hair is shiny, weightless & smells great. I follow with some Universal leave in conditioner & style as usual. Always a good hair day!

Great for curls

I buy this for my 5 year old daughter that has pretty curly hair. Its makes bath time much easier because it is one step and helps detangle her curls. Have also used it for myself as well and I like it for my waves. Not to heavy but nicely hydrating

I’m IN LOVE with this sublime product. It smells heavenly, cleans my hair perfectly & leaves it soft, shiny & manageable with no frizz. I’m hooked!
I’ve been looking for a decent 2 in 1 for ages as I suffer with chronic health issues & find washing my hair quite hard & this just makes it so much easier and in fact I now enjoy washing my hair whereas I used to dread it! Thank you eSalon 🙏🏼🙈

I used this instead of shampoo for a few days after a wash day. It is great for moisturizing curls and you can go straight to styling and adding your products after washing with this. I am transitioning to only using shampoo a couple days a week instead of every day

I was skeptical about this product..past experience always left my very thick hair with tons of static or very dry. This cowash is fantastic my hair feels clean and hydrated for a 2 to 3 days. There is certainly a trial and error factor with how much to use to get a great result I would think that less is more for those with thinner or finer hair..as I said my hair is pretty thick and shoulder length and I use about a quarter size amount of product. It doesn't need to stay in to long in fact going over 3 min before rinsing can make my hair feel a little weighted down. I love love love the condition my hair after use and love the ease of only using one product. I use 1 to 2 times a week. Depending on how often I get to the gym. I have also used the product on one day and just rinsed my hair a day later and my hair still felt great.

Definitely took care of my frizziness. I’m 57 and have been coloring my hair for several years. It is quite heavy so I use my other color safe shampoo just on my crown then I use use the Cowash on the rest of my hair. Do not expect a lather so I don’t suggest you add more product as it gets heavier.

I’ve been a daily hair-washer forever because of my oily scalp/skin. This stuff has been great for skipping regular shampoo/conditioner and has not been too heavy for my hair. I still use a clarifying shampoo every other week or so to prevent buildup. I’d recommend this if you are trying to preserve color or shampoo/condition less often.

I was skeptical as I have tried several different brands of cowash in the past with less than stellar results. Either my hair would feel greasy and unclean or incredibly dry. But not this! My hair feels and looks great - very soft and plenty of volume (which can be difficult with longer hair). I will definitely purchase this again in the future and would definitely recommend.

Cleans without foaming agents, so don't expect any lather (much better for your hair). It's a great conditioner too - I didn't need to use any other products after washing and drying.

This CoWash is nice, not the best I have used, but it cleans and conditions without being heavy. I have fine hair but a lot of it and it is fairly fly-away after this. I do like that it was not irritating to my sensitive skin and did not strip my color. Overall a good product. I would buy this again.
