This really does soften and shine. My full bodied waves look healthy and vibrant. Great product!
One issue is the packaging. I can’t overstate how awful I find the rebranding. The design is ill-conceived and reminds me of my mother’s 1970’s kotex. Aside from asthetics, the font, color and layout make the packaging nearly impossible to read, even when magnified. Thank goodness the products inside are great.

I love the shine silk. It smooths and protects my hair all while giving it a luxurious shine. My one major complaint is when they updated the design they also made the bottle 20ml smaller for the same price

I love this product and get compliments often and i know it’s always because I’ve used this... but I HATE the packaging. The cap never stays on and it gets everywhere.. not safe for travel!

I've tried other similar products and they just don't produce these results. Lets me have hair that looks like it was just trimmed for a whole lot longer. Smooths. Soothes. And simply shines me up.

My hair is thin & fine, but long. It just takes 1 or 2 small pumps - while it's still wet, I rub it around good in my hands, then run my fingers through my hair, focusing on the ends, and comb through just one more time.
At first, I tried using it WITH the Illuminating Shine Spray. That was too much for me, as it weighed my hair down & looked greasy.
BOTH are amazing products and work great for me, but each when used alone.
Very happy with both!!

Its very good but I really can continue to use my own Argon Oil treatment Ive been using for yrs. Its a bit pricy for the amount of product, and I really see no difference from what I buy from my local Beauty Supplier.
I get more product at a much less price..

I'm not a fan of using a lot of product on my hair; however, with the humid climate I live, 'calm' hair is difficult to manage. I've tried many things and even went so far to use several at one time ONLY to last half a day. My hair consistently felt filthy..ugh! That was until Shining Armor; just a few pumps on damp hair after I shampoo and a couple more after drying and it's smooth, soft and cooperates. Long story short, when my hair is happy, I'm happy!

I love the way this product makes my hair feel. Just a drop or two is all I need to get the job done! Unfortunately, because of the packaging, I can never tell how much I have left, and it's kind of frustrating.

I actually really liked this product but it's way too expensive for the amount that you get. I think if the price went down you'd get a whole lot more people buying it.

This works as stated; however don't use to much or with similar products...it can make your hair look a bit greasy. I learned that if I put a small amount and start on my ends underneath and only go to mid hair...that does not happen.

REALLY helps to stop the sun bleaching out your color. I work out side and with out this I would turn in to a blonde between colors. This stops that from happening. the only thing is its messy to use. I wish it came in a spray.

I used this for the first time last night. I realized as I was in the shower that I had no conditioner left. Ugh. My hair is very thick and is usually a knotted mess without conditioner. So, after the shower, I used this, hoping it would compensate, and my hair came out soft, shiny, but still full-bodied and bouncy - not at all greasy.

I DO enjoy this product a lot - and use it nearly every day. One thing, however, is you CAN use too much (then hair gets a greasy slick look). Just a very small amount scrunched through hair with your fingers will do it - smoothes fly aways and moisturizes ends...

I like this product, it restores nutrients to my hair and it looks healthy and shiny. Use sparingly or it tends to weigh down my hair and appear greasy. Also if I use too much the fragrance is a little bothersome to me.

I love everything about ESalon's hair color! But this, has lots of room for improvement. As a gloss it's so-so, it has very little fragrance, and it's not something I will reorder.

if you only use a small amount, you can't notice that you've used anything at all. If you use more, then it only leaves the hair greasy, even on wet or damp hair. Not a good product and would not recommend.

One thing I dislike about many hair products, their scent is just too strong. I sadly got a migraine after using this. I'm not sure what's in it, but even my wife said the product was too much. I think when I moved, I just ended up tossing it since neither of us could use it.

It leaked during shipping

When I open the package, the oil is everywhere in side the bag. The base cardboard is completely soaked with the oil. The shampoo packed together is also covered with oil. The leakage is not coming from the pump, it’s from the bottom of the bottle.

Schöne Textur, zieht schnell ein und die Haare werden nicht ölig. Duftet sehr dezent und auch angenehm. Leider bringt das Serum meinem Haaren nichts. Sie sind genauso trocken wie zuvor. Das muss aber nicht am Produkt liegen, sondern Haare sind einfach unterschiedlich...

Not the worst,, but not the best. I don’t notice much of a difference when I use this product. My hair is still quite frizzy and I find I have to use quite a bit of product to even notice a slight difference. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Still searching for a de-frizz that works

I've tried this and a couple other E Salon products to reduce frizz. I don't see any real improvement from this product, and my hair drinks this stuff up so I end up using a lot more than recommended - and it's a small bottle!

I haven’t used this much so I can’t really add much to this review but it did seem to add some shine but also made my hair a little sticky, and I felt like it needed to be shampooed pretty quickly after I used it once!!
