Was excited to try this, however it left my hair tacky, stiff and wet looking. So glad I tested it on a Sunday so I didn't need to rush out as I had to wash it again.

I was so disappointed with this product , after reading some of the reviews I had such high hopes as I really am struggling to find a hairspray that has good hold but does not feel crunchy or make my hair look dull and I am afraid this did both , it made my hair look flatter rather than lifted.

Worked wonderful for the first spray...second spray wasn't able to come out, all the product gathered at the top of the lid and ran down the side...very disappointed...cant use it! Was looking forward to this too!

washed my hair and applied to damp hair, let it dry, it was stiff like hairspray, and did not produce any lift to my roots. might be ok to apply after styling, but not for a root lift

I sprayed this on my roots and noticed right away how sticky it was. It was difficult to use my round brush on my hair with my blow dryer.
I also didn't care for the scent.

it works nice on the roots to give the lift, unfortunately the spray bottle did not work right, and it ends up pouring out of the bottle and not the nostril, which makes the hair very stiff.
i have to find another bottle to transfer the liquid into it, unless you want to send me another bottle

This product did absolutely nothing to improve volume in my hair. I tried using a lot, I tried using a little, different styling methods, etc and got zero results. A total waste of money. Can't understand why castor oil would be added to a volumizing product.

Horrible Residue

I followed the instructions on how to use this root lifter and I absolutely hate the way my hair feels after hair drying. It feels waxy and it makes me feel like my hair is dirty. There is so much residue that this product leaves that I literally feel like washing my hair again. Since there is so much residue weighing it down, it failes to lift my roots! I have stopped using this product after 3 uses. Pretty sad as my hopes that this would be a great product have vanished.

Used this with BIG LOVE Color Safe Volumizing Shampoo and BIG SOFTIE
Color Safe Volumizing Conditioner. The overall result was less than acceptable. My hair never goes that flat after using my previous products...to which I will return.

I purchase the root lift and I notice a little lift but after the 3rd use the pump stop working, now im stuck with the whole bottle and hopefully I'll find a pump that can work for the remainder of it. The pump is cheaply made for what you pay for. Would not purchase this again.

Product works wonders for the roots and really does a bang-up job at providing volume. However I waited weeks for my shipment to Denmark (close to 3 weeks) and when it finally arrived, the nozzle didn't work. Nothing comes out when you pump. I didn't feel like sending it back and waiting another x amount of weeks, so I managed to swap it out with a nozzle from a competitor's product.

I have only used it once and maybe I need to experiment with it, but the hold was so strong I couldn't style my hair. As I dried my hair, it began to feel like there was varnish in it.

I find this to be absolutely useless. Not only does it fail to provide the promised lift, it flattens out my curly hair and makes it much worse than before. Waste of money, and waste of space on the shelf.

I've tried to use this a couple of times...but it leaves my hair too flat and heavy on my head ... And I eased up considerably on how much I use. Just not a good fit for me. In addition, when it was shipped to me, the attachment at the top of the bottle was broken off and it doesn't fit right in the bottle. Just not a good experience.

Cannot figure out how to use it! Spray function does not work. No hole for spray to come out of. Tried punching hole but all I got was a very small mousse type of product. Undid the whole top and poured small amount into palm of hand and tried to massage into roots without much success. More directions please.

This product did not work at all. Instead of lifting it flattened my hair worse then without the product. I used it on my bang area. Now I have a bottle of unused product, I would like to return it but I don't believe there is a return policy.

I was excited to get this product because I wanted to have a good lift product and well, it's nothing to rave about. It does give you some lift, but that's about it. I do like the scent of the product.I did NOT like the way it made my hair feel when I sprayed it in sections,it left it DRY & BRITTLE feeling. I'm in a lot of makeup groups and we always give reviews on products and I honestly couldn't give this one a 5 STAR and I was so disappointed that I couldn't. Will I purchase this again? No... I thought about purchasing other hair items to review, but I'm not going too,and end up not liking them and wasting my money ....

My hair is shoulder length so that may have had something to do with it not lifting my roots. I just didn't notice any difference in the way it looked after using lift spray on the roots.

I was so looking forward to receiving this product after reading great reviews online. Unfortunately this products did not provide any volume. After spraying and styling, it felt as if I hadn't put anything in my medium legnth, fine hair. I tried using more the next time after I washed my hair and it was damp, but still the same - no volume ☹️. I've bought drug store brands that performed better.

I have fine hair and was hoping this would help. Another let down so the search continues. I'm sure for regular thicker hair is works well. Fine hair is an puzzle at best.

I wasn't very happy with this product. I have used quite a few other products of this type and this one just didn't do it for me. My hair is very fine and after applying the root life my hair was still very soft and flat.

Too thin - no lift

I use another lifting product, and it works great. This one, is too thin and runny. The very first time I tried it, it ran right down to my eyes immediately. I tried it several different ways (spraying onto my palm and rubbing in, spraying higher up so it would run down to the spot I want, etc.,) but, even if I got it where I wanted it, it didn't give me any of the lift I wanted. Maybe, instead of a stream coming out, a mist would be better?
