Loads of complimentsI used this hair color two weeks ago and I’m still getting compliments! The color is just a natural fit for me, with a bit of shine and dimension. Whats the point of a custom service?I explicitly mentioned my thick hair and virgin roots. I got the package and it wasnt enough for my whole head (this service is geared towards people with thinner and lighter hair apparently). I also followed their directions. I have been box dyieing my hair for years. This is the ONLY time I have ever gotten light roots like a damn band. And it did nothing to my lower hair. Medium brown came out blackI was trying to go from a blonde shade to a medium brown which is similar to my natural color. They gave me a color tint to fill my hair before dying it, which I did. I don't know how this happened, but the dye made my hair completely black. I emailed esalon and left a note for my colorist, but didn't receive much support other than use a clarifying shampoo or a color corrector. I did end up using a color corrector and now there are some hollow spots in my hair, but it is mostly brown. Overall I'm really disappointed with the lack of support from this company.
