It was terribleThey didn't listen to what I wanted. I have salt and pepper hair. I wanted a color lighter than my dark. Not a bleach, just a lighter color to just cover my gray. Then it looks frosted instead of salt and pepper. What I was sent made my hair black! I already look harsh enough. But the black hair made me more harsh! My family hated it. Color doesn’t lastColor came out great until about a week later it faded significantly. My colorist adjusted the color to try again but I’m not so sure. If it didn’t last the first time I don’t think a color adjustment will matter. I feel like it was drying on my already dry hair too. Too Light is allMy hair color wasnt what I was expecting. It was too light. I'm sure that was due to my explanation of the color I wanted. Because I wasn't satisfied with the color the wonderful people of eSalon and my most patient colorist Mindy are taking the time to make sure I am satisfied with my color by preparing me a new one. I am so thankful. I have tried one of eSalon's competitors and you just don't get the quality of care or product that you get with eSalon. They didn't even send the second color for your ends like eSalon does. So without the extra color I barely had enough to finish my entire head with the color they did send. Add the personalized packaging , all the extras and the price you get when you order with eSalon it's a "Color" Above the rest. Excellent Management, quick adjustmentsI am on my second box from eSalon now, and I am much happier with this box than my previous one! The color I was previously sent was too red, and with a note to Adjust Color, my current color is more a coppery auburn, and I am very pleased with how it turned out. My hair is soft and healthy despite changing colors and brands of dye. This go around the bottles were not broken, and the ends color left me with bright and vibrant ginger hair, even after a wash. The previous eSalon color also resisted fading beyond a gentle auburn, despite my attempts to dull it as much as possible in preparation for the new shade. Very happy. wayyyy better! whew!i liked it alot. still, a tiny bit darker than i would have liked but I'll change my formula. i appreciate the stylist working together with me on this. this is a great company and i like how my hair feels after i dye it.
