Amazing color!After a goof-up (totally MY fault) getting my first shade right, my colorist, Freddie, gave me the closest color possible to my dream shade without needed to strip my current hair color. It was as simple as sending a message and a couple photos. The product is amazing, too! It doesn't stain your shower and rinsed from my hair more quickly and more completely than other brands I've tried. And the next time I showered, the water still ran clear, so no staining clothes or towels! It smells like regular drugstore hair color while you're putting it on and it has a lingering smell after you rinse and wash, but it's not terrible. And the smell is gone the next time you shampoo. I really love that I can get a salon-quality color AND talk to a real expert about things I want/don't want without having to go to a salon. When I reached out because I didn't like the first shade (which again was totally my fault for reading the chart wrong), my expert told me that the color I wanted was too light because I'd already dyed my hair and that the new color wouldn't lift the dye, just lay over it. But honestly, the shade I got the second time is MUCH better suited to my complexion and I LOVE it!! I've been dyeing my hair since I was 16 *cough 40 years cough* so I know my way around a box of dye. This by far has been the best home hair dyeing experience I've ever had. great colorI am very happy with the color as it matches nicely with my in salon color. My hair seems shiny and healthy. I like the kit completeness with gloves and conditioner.
