Gray to BlondeI had tried several brands but none covered my mostly white hair. I had given up and than found ESalon. It was easy to use and my hair is now exactly the color I had hoped for. Glad I chose eSalonI had been trying to put off coloring my hair for as long as possible but it was time to cover up the gray. A friend suggested eSalon and I am so glad I made this choice. This is the first time I had ever colored my hair and was very nervous because I have a very sensitive scalp. In the past, Redken products have made me break out and even made my hair fall out and other women in my family talked about how they have to put up with their scalp burning to get a good coloring- so I was very worried. The kit comes with a recommended test to check for allergy and I did that and didn't have a reaction. I even tested a small unnoticeable place on my head and didn't have a reaction. I had no sensitivity with the actual coloring of my hair- no burning, no itching, nothing! Another worry was that it would really dry out my hair- but it didn't- my hair is soft and just as shiny as ever. When selecting a color, the questions were very thorough and I ended up ordering the demi-permanent dark brown. What a great color! I was worried it would be too dark but it was a great match and even had just the tiniest hint of auburn in it which I am really liking. I can still tell where my gray was because the gray is lighter than the rest, but I think it gives it the look of some lighter brown highlights and it works for me. We had some shipping problems; the developer kept leaking inside the box but customer service was excellent. I emailed and received a response and phone call every time. When I had a question right before I applied the color and called the customer service number, I only waited on hold about 2 minutes, the customer service rep was very friendly, helpful, and supportive. Love the color!The color is fantastic and it covers grey! Usually with other coloring products my greys show again within 1 week!
