New color vs. oldThe new formula without the red in it was a bit darker and didn't have as much highlighting as with the red. As usual, the color was kind to my hair and looked great. Best dye bang for your buck!If you have a sensitive scalp that reacts in the salon and you want to have soft wonderfully coloured hair then e-salon has your answer. Boxed dyes are fine once in a while, but over time my hair begins to feel, look and react like straw. The salon dye is too harsh for my scalp. E-salon offers your in between. A great product for only slightly more than the box, but a whole lot less than the professional studio. I have yet to be unhappy with their product. Sometimes my colour descriptions have not been delivered as ordered, but they correct that right away no questions asked. If you say, " I am purple!" Love that the colorist truly listensAlthough the color is still not exactly the way I want it, everything I explain to the colorist that I want, he always makes the adjustment in an effort to give me the most satisfaction for the service.
