My colorist Alexia A "NAILED IT"!!!Perhaps my review is premature; I just did my first order tonight and am done drying and styling my hair. Wow!! It looks terrific! I typically get my hair colored at the salon and do two root touch ups between salon coloring. I have mid-dark blonde with many many grays that are hard to color. While this application took a bit more time with prep and time than the Loreal I use at home, the results were well worth it!!! My hair has more of a sheen/luminosity to it - not that flat dull do-it-myself results I'm used to. I had sent Alexia A a photo that did not have the best lighting and asked her to match it.... She did it!!!! I'm very pleased. I'm hopeful the results will last; I do use quality color safe products (Alterna Repair X) and shampoo only 3 times per week - so that should help hold the color. If my hair looks this good in 3 weeks I'm definitely reordering. My advice is to take the time and follow the instructions carefully; I took a few extra minutes to stage all my supplies, in order, and carefully covered everything before starting; I kept the work area clean and it made it so much easier to follow the instructions to the letter. They are easy to follow but I made sure to take more time with the application and made sure to apply it more carefully than in the past; I think this helped me to get a result that looks just as good as my salon coloring. Covers my graysI really don't have gray hair... I have white hairs. No one has ever been able to color those hairs that last at least six weeks. This color does. Being a nurse I interact every day with people. I have had so many compliments. Unhappy with my colorI have blonde hair and have tried many of the retail permanent hair colors for blondes and I seem to always get a red tint to my color. The same thing has happened with my trial order.
