Much better than I was expecting...I am thrilled with my results!In effort to reduce my beauty budget, I tried eSalon after a referral from a friend. After a few conversations with my eSalon colorist regarding my color and her concern for a good match, I received my shipment and quickly performed a test strand, as per her direction. I quickly went from a test strand to doing my entire head, and was incredibly pleased with the results. Best Color EverEverywhere I go people are constantly complimenting the color of my hair or telling me how pretty my hair is. AWSOME stuff. Doesn't destroy my hair, and actually slowly improving it!AWSOME stuff. Doesn't destroy my hair as a natural blond with baby fine but dry, brittle, and very sparse quantity existing pre eSalon patronage. Using this product is actually slowly improving it! I seriously thought I was going to be forced to just submit or... GO BALD lol. We eldens used to call women that had hair like me who had no choice but to give up "blue hairs". Forced to cut short after years of bleaching and balding, and forced to curl to cover up the dawm scalp. I LOVE that I can adjust the color slowly and with confidence to get back to the natural color that was utterly destroyed by OTC products I started using a year before just to cover the doom and gloom of ole age grays and the Elvira streaks that were starting. I swear I lost at LEAST 1/2 the quantity of hair strands and I seriously couldn't afford that lol. Also the shampoo and conditioner are the BOMB. Wish I had the $$$ to purchase those items to use daily as well. If you can? DO!!!!!!!!!! Heck, wish I had to $$$ to invest in this company because I would =) AWSOME JOB folks, and a special shout out to my colorist! Good color but way too thick!!I like everything about this except for one major issue. It takes a ton of rubbing to get the color off my scalp!! I am a former cosmetologist and I have never had this problem before. In fact I might just stop using it because it's so ridiculous. I usually hop in the shower to wash out the product so I take along time to do it. The last time I used it I was VERY concious of getting the color off my scalp because the previous time I had to go back and work on getting it off twice. It happened again! I was like,"OMG!" I am very disappointed with the colorIn the beginning the color was not what I had asked for. I originally wanted black base with hints of violet. I received an email requesting to take it down to a darkest brown that was closer to my natural color, which is not what I wanted. so I told them go ahead and do it, because they said it would look like I wanted it to look. After I put it on my hair I had Auburn roots medium brown middle of my hair and a little bit of a hint of violet toward the roots. all that would have been perfect if it had been black to purple but I did not want Brown. I was told it would be adjusted. I now go and look at my account again and I see that they still have red in my formula my hair is naturally an auburn color I don't want red, if I wanted red I would not be coloring it. I'm going to give it one more shot and if I'm not satisfied this time I'll go back to buying it in the store. I just noticed they say they will reship to correct it. No one offered to do that for me.
