WowI didn't know home colour could do this. There is a lot of online hype surrounding this product. Believe it best home colour I have ever used. Love the service I was concerned over the colour but was called back by my personal colourist to talk me through. The colour is gorgeous. Love the color!Started with a darker brown first time. It was dark. But it looked great! Mom liked it! Then I got the light brown a while back, it's a little dark at first, but lightens up perfectly and my hair looks like I have highlights! I get a lot of compliments! Great work team! No gray! Great product; even better customer service!I've used this hair product three times. My review: ease of ordering = 10, colorists professionals = 10, packaging & delivery = 10, ease of use for product = 10, product effects (color retention) = 8 (add the tinted love & it's a 10) I have a lot of hair but each strand is very thin. It's naturally light blonde & spaghetti straight. I always got my hair colored by a professional but I injured my neck and I have been out of work. I decided to try eSalon because of the cost difference and, even more importantly, the salon's scoop sinks caused pain when I had to tilt my head back. When looking at the shelves in a store, I can never decide on a product or a color. If I actually buy a box of hair color I chicken out when I get it home. I have at least 6 boxes of hair color in my closet that I've never been brave enough to use! Waste of time and money! My first set came in a sturdy box with all the products securely housed in a convenient way. Even though the customized directions were easy to read and to follow, I still had questions. I contacted customer service and spoke to a colorist. I know that they all probably answer the same questions all day, every day but I was treated kindly. In today's world of automated Q&A machines and disinterested CS reps, eSalon's professionals are a rare experience! I have been impressed and overjoyed by every one I've talked to in their colorist department. My first hair color packs were blended as a 'strawberry blond' and it wasn't quite as red as I wanted. I spoke to another eSalon professional and we switched the color slightly to a 'copper' red. It punched up the color just enough and did not cause my hair to look brassy. covers gray and staysCustomizing my color to be delivered to my door each month is joyfully convenient. The color is true and it stays on my gray roots until they grow out. Which is a lot more than I can say for other products off the shelf. I appreciate the customer service of emailing me each month to let me know the product is on its way, and asking if I want to make any changes. I rated this product three stars for 2 reasons (and I am sorry I had to) 1) the price could be lower 2) no matter how much time i spend rinsing out the color or using all of the provided shampoo/conditioner, my hair is greasy and clumped together afterward (I have tried this for 3 months). I cannot get the gross feeling out of my hair until I heavily shampoo it again 24 hrs later. So FYI the 1st day your hairstyle will be a tight braid or ponytail. Using for about a yearI think I need to go a little darker it comes out dark blonde but I don't get a shine but I'm also going grey so I don't know what color to go with I did take a photo and will submit to the color consultant ...
