Not as good as advertised.I tried to follow the directions as closely as possible. It wasn't as easy as they made it sound. Coloring in sections wouldn't be my first choice of application. Would have been better if they instructed to put it on all at once and work it through with the hands. It covered my gray well at first, but faded out of the gray strands pretty quickly. Color doesn't lastI purchased this about a month ago. At first I loved it the color was awesome, looked natural and didn't smell bad while we put it on. But the color faded away rapidly, even when using color safe shampoo and the recommended conditioner. Within 3 weeks it was gone from my hair. I don't wash my hair every day, I do condition it however, and it was the conditioner that I got with my color. Not the color I wantedI loved the packaging and the price and the personal level and the overall idea! Unfortunately, I thought with the color I chose (copper blond) and the color I had (light brown), that I would get the right results but instead it turned my hair a dark red. I was not satisfiedSo i have shoulder length hair and very thick and frizzy. The dye did not dye my whole hair completely. I made sure to follow the instructions and everything and the previous color i had on is still on my ends, so no it didn't die my end it just dyed my roots.
