Former (15yrs.) Cosmetologist honest review...I am going to just jump right in... Pros: 1. Home delivery, what's not to love about that? 2. Clear directions and everything you need to DIY 3. Love that it came with 2 sets of gloves, stain remover, a skin prep pack, and the bonus sticker so I could put those directions right on my mirror! 4. The money savings vs. going to the salon is HUGE 5. The option to apply with a brush or bottle is nice 6. The quality of the packaging/merch is amazing 7. I loved seeing my name on the product that was fun Side note; I didn't even have to use the stain remover and for me, that was a surprise because that has always been an issue in the past. Yay. Con's 1. This was my first order and though I sent in a slew of current photos of myself, my hair condition, % of grey, and photos of my previous hair color, online pix I found showing the color I wanted, and a very detailed email outlining what I wanted, the color didn't quite give me the results I was expecting given the extensive info. I provided. I wanted more red and maybe a level lighter. Having said all that I AM STILL VERY HAPPY because it did cover my minimal grey and the level of color is still great. I understand red is hard to deposit but with today's color being what it is you should at the very least get the results you want and then it fades within a dozen washings. 2. I have to apply the color, lol 3. I don't get that great salon shampoo, conditioner, massage, and style. lol 4. I don't have eyes in the back of my head to apply the color well. lol I would have added before and after photos here but there is no link or ability to add attachments. I will let my specialist know about my experience and I've no doubt the next shipment will be the perfect color. These things take time and I look forward to being a long-term customer. Love the kit that I gotI love the kit that I ordered with my hair color, the tray, shampoo & conditioner. Fabulous colorI wasn’t able to find natural red at store- only purple burgundy maroon, sent a pic to team and they nailed the coppery brown red I wanted on the first try. Oh My Gosh!Perfect! I waited a couple of months to review. Seeing as I dye my hair a red/brown shade, it typically fades out to a strawberry blonde within a month. My grays typically show through after only a week. I can say that it has been 2 months and my grays are just beginning to show in a couple of spots, and my color is still going strong! First time order eSalonFirst time I have used this brand & doing at Home. I am impressed & colour. I was wary & worried it will turn out the colour & will it be messy to do at Home .
