I dyed my hair tonight and it came out great! I always have trouble with my white/gray hair dying - and I have a lot of fine hair that’s also transitioning from straight to kinky curly in areas. And I tried eSalon and I love the way it worked. It’s a subscription service, so they’ll send me color every 4 to 6 weeks. I can change my color too. It’s a little more expensive than store bought, but those weren’t working on me anymore, so it was worth the change. The packaging was super cute and personalized. I asked for all over color, but the stylist who reviewed my profile recommended roots only. And specifically told me not to carry it past my roots. I’ve been dying my hair and I always comb it through to avoid any stark contrast, but I reluctantly followed their instructions and it came out perfect! And my hair is surprisingly soft (I used their conditioner, but I’m sensitive to strong scents, so I also followed up with my own conditioner). Let me clarify, it doesn’t have a bad smell, it’s just stronger than I can handle. I am so happy with this subscription!

The e-salon crew did a great job providing me with another box of color when the first box had color spilled in it. The color I ordered is a little darker than I like. It mixed and went on my hair wonderfully. Definitely covered the white where my natural color has stopped growing.

I will never go back to my salon. This kit is amazing. I love my color and won’t be fooled by stylists telling me the box is bad. I wish I could share a before and after picture!

I was blown away by the salon-quality hair colour!!
I vowed never to use home colour kits after a few disasters in my 20’s, but during lockdown, I became desperate to colour my dull hair with one too many grey hairs. I was very hesitant to use this, but cannot believe the salon-look that this product gave me. Absolutely blown away by this and may never go back to the incredibly expensive salon again (sorry to my lovely hairdresser 😬) Will recommend to anyone!

I chose a colour and when used it today it was brilliant and perfect so soft smells nice and really love the colour I will order again if I ever need the same colour or any other colours, thankyou very much I feel really happy and beautiful colour that feels like me again. Perfect.

Due to Covid my salon was closed. I have never been happy with at home hair color so when I saw the ad I was skeptical but after weeks I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. It didn’t dry up my hair and the coloring looks natural. I’m now on a subscription!!

I am transitioning from bright red to Auburn tonal colour..I needed to change the colour mix after the first application..

My color came out great. Very natural which was what I was going for. I was tired of highlights and the cost and the color covered the highlights without being flat. Great packaging and easy to follow instructions, too. Will definitely use again.

I really am so grateful to Esalon. The products sure great and the system works so well. There is a learning curve to coloring your own hair, but Esalon does a good job of making steps as simple as possible. I strongly recommend them!

After slightly changing my colour mix for roots I found the products really good the process was good and not difficult needed a bit of help at the back . But I did wait a day and followed it by using the highlighter brightening kit on thin top front strands and at round face and it lifted it even more . Really pleased as I started using this due to covid lockdown and have blonde coloured hair highly processed already . After using the products then the shampoo included im really pleased . Customer care is excellent highly recommend

I really liked that everything I needed was given to me. I used the bottle method as I am used to doing it this way. The only complaint I had was that I was given a lot of darker color choices and the lightest color I could pick was still too dark for me. I usually go lighter for Spring/Summer(nothing dramatic) and darker for Fall/ Winter which this color falls into that category. The gray coverage was great! I couldn't wait to get rid of them and my usual stylist moved a more expensive salon and of course the pandemic was upon us. My hair felt really soft afterwards.
All in all I really like that I will be getting my color in the mail and I could adjust color, timing of shipment, and contact a colorist at any time as needed. I have already suggested to some people they should try it.

I wanted to wait a few weeks after coloring to submit my review. I do love this color, the step by step instructions are a wonderful thing and my hair (still 2 weeks later) feels healthy.

My husband was quicker doing the back this time, and I did the sides and the top.

I was really nervous ordering this, but I read the reviews. Plus being an allure winner. I had my sister apply the color she’s a hairdresser. I will say at first she was nervous that it was to thin in consistency. It does thicken up. She was concerned that it was going to dry my hair out & be red and dark. When we rinsed she said the shampoo smelled awesome, the conditioner actually softened my hair. After my trim and blow drying she kept saying wow. It’s not dark at all, it’s extremely multi dimensional and my highlights previous remained. I love it. She approved it. Especially with all that’s going on she said this is a good way to go. She said no to box color ever. Everything from the directions to the second bottle impressed her. I asked if she thought I could do my roots when it’s time. She said yes. I would definitely recommend this. I am hoping that I can fade red out in the fall to be more in just the brown family. I feel like I can do that with my Stylist here. My hair is healthy and shiny. It’s coming up on two weeks and it’s holding strong the color. So we shall see. Right now this works for me and I needed a change but it was just a subtle change.

I have difficult hair to color as it pulls red. The first and second custom colors were good but this one is pretty great. A gold cinnamon. A great do it yourself option with professional help!

I have tried boxed hair color as salon upkeep is just not in my budget. This color not only looked professionally done, it was the right color and stayed the same color! Plus was so soft and looks much healthier overall.

This is the first time I have used this service as I was getting desperate. My hair has not been coloured since February so you can imagine the mountain of grey hair that had appeared. I wasn’t going to colour my own hair but thought how bad could it get? As long as it doesn’t turn orange I can handle anything. Even after my colour kit arrived I was a bit worried but I bit the bullet and have to say I am glad I did. The colour is really nice and too my amazement it covered all me greys in 35 minutes!!!!

Wow! My color turned out great. It covered my grays and it looks natural. My hair is soft and shiny... looks so healthy♡ And after it's all done my hair didn't smell like the product... it smelt like the shampoo and conditioner. Thank you very much Mindy and eSalon♡

Easy to do. Instructions are clear. Watch the videos prior to coloring your hair. That helps so much. My mixed color was more strawberry blonde than golden blonde so next time I will adjust it. I used my fingers more than the brush. I recommend small sections of hair as you color.

I was nervous at first because it’s been a long time since I’ve colored my hair. The online process for selecting color and kit was easy to follow, very thorough and extremely humanizing. I felt like I was talking to a dedicated professional who had my total interests at heart. I love the packaging and entire process so well thought out and executed. The end product—my newly colored hair—looks great. I can’t wait to do it again!

My personalized color is perfect and blends for a natural look. I love the personal touch of opening the box and seeing my name printed on the bottle and instructions. The color lasts and doesn't fade like red tones often do. Most importantly, it's not damaging my hair and causing breakage like store brands.

This is by far the best home coloring experience I’ve had. The color that they made for me is Salon quality. Easy to follow directions and comes out perfect after every application. I will never go back to a salon for color again. Extremely satisfied

This is terrific! I was very nervous to try and I’d give my starting technique a B, but the product is definitely an A! Now that I’ve done it once I’m not afraid to go at it again—at home when I have time and no driving to the salon:)

I love the way my color turned out. It has been 3 or so weeks and barely any fading noticed which is tough for a red shade! I loved the setup and everything. The box comes with plenty of it all. One of my favorite things about coloring my hair, aside from a fresh brightening up, is the texture change. I have fine fine fine hair. This has really given me some volume and texture that’s lacking. I can’t wait to do it all again next month.

Nachdem ich eine Hilfe! Mail an das Team inkl. Bildern geschickt hatte weil ich eine Blockstreifenbildung auf dem Kopf bekam (2mal ansatzfärben mit unterschiedlichen einwirkzeiten=unterschiedlicher Farbton)- habe ich schnellst möglich ein 1.ste Hilfe Set bekommen! Perfekt!
