I love this product...& the shade is EXACTLY what I'd hoped for. I've had very little fading & it's not "flat or one-dimensional AT ALL! the highlights are vibrant & everything I wanted in my fun, off the "beaten path" shade of "rockabilly red"....which is what I get called. I'm a drummer & I'm all about vintage & the 50's & 60's....so I LOVE YOUR PRODUCT! VERY satisfied!

I was nervous about applying my own hair color for the first time. Initially I chose a color that would not look natural so I got a polite eSalon phone call and my color was adjusted to better suit my goal shade. I read my personal instructions, watched the eSalon videos, I let the lavender box sit for over a week. I called and asked questions and the color expert was very kind and helpful! I followed all instructions for the brush and bowl technique. I was nervous while the color processed. I was tense during the rinse and shampoo and finally calmed after the conditioner that made my hair soft and shiny! I dried my hair and was very pleased with my results. I’ll always follow the instructions! It is important to leave notes for your colorist and send a picture. They read and look at them! I am so happy to save money and time! My results were so natural looking that my family does not know that I colored my hair. Goal achieved!

It's such an easy process. My first colour was good but I wanted it slightly darker and they changed it for me with no hassle at all. They were quick and responsive and the colour is amazing (dark copper)!
The instructions and packaging is clear and so cute, and it arrives on time every month. Much love!

Its a no brainer. When you need to color your hair it is at your home waiting for you. Also it is the best color I have ever used. Its not like the colors you purchase in the stores. It is a professional type color the only difference is you do it your self.

I was going to a pro once a month to get my hair colored but it was minimum 70 bucks and I never got the same color twice. Esalon has save me thousands of dollars over the last 4 years I have been using it and I get compliments all the time on how great and natural my hair color looks. It was so easy to get started! after just a few adjustments in the early months and now I have a shade of copper all my own! I'm a low-key kinda girl but I still want to look good! I recommend this company to every woman who colors their hair.

I wanted a slight alteration in the custom color by eSalon. I corresponded with the master colorist and was sent a new formulation that was exactly what I wanted (I wanted a little more red added in). My color is perfect and my hair has so much sheen and very moisturized with no dry ends. Thank you eSalon for my perfect custom color!

I LOVE the customer service and how they work with you to change the color tone to your desire. The product it self has held up. I would Love it more if they had an offer of double the amount because of the thickness and length of my hair I need more than the average sent and I'm sure there are others that would appreciate a continual SPECIAL rate with more quantity to cover such needs.
However I do recommend this product.

I had highlights all over the place and dark roots 3 inches thick. I didn’t think there was any way possible that I could make my hair look normal. My esalon stylist created the perfect formula for my roots and ends..my hair looks amazing and I’ve gotten so many compliments!! Took me a few days but I did my hair today and wow! My. Hair looks awesome. I got colirfir my whole to hidemy roots. My daughter help me do it. It took longer than my last color at home butworth it once it dried itlook like I spent a few hours at the salon. Irs also soft and the color is down right awesome. I look forward to using it again

I loved the color that I chose. Once I was done it was the same actual color I did choose. My hair was not brassy and it has lasted even longer than normal.

Post chemo in my 40's..total grey...and curly, which I loved, but the color made for me was super awesome (!m not calling my hairdresser out at all) it looked nice. For those with post chemo hair....try this product. I've been a customer since I had 1/2 inch grey hair. Now I look normal with the color.

At the beginning I didn't like the color because it was to dark for me. But my colorist suggested dark brown because I have a lot of gray hair, she was right the color is dark for my liking but it did covered my gray really good!! This product is great!! It didn't burn my scalp, it Covered my gray, left my hair shiny and soft!! Thank you eSalon!!

Kit was wonderful - everything you need is in this package. Solution did not smell bad at all, no strong chemical smell. eSalon was in contact with me consistently to make sure my custom color was exactly as I wanted. They volunteered to do any adjustments to lighten or darken the color for next month. I really like the online auto-ship where I can add products to my regular monthly order to save me time. I normally just buy my color from the drug store, but I must say, I am very impressed with this company and will be a long time customer for sure. Receiving an actual "color expert" from eSalon to discuss exactly what my expectations are with this newly created color was so nice. Thanks Jennifer @ eSalon !

I am always skeptical of beauty products- especially when all the reviews seem to be too good to be true. This product really delivered- not only is the color perfect but my hair feels so soft and is very shiny. I uploaded a picture and it was recommended that I don’t go ask dark as I indicated. I trusted the specialist and I’m happy that I did!

I've been using eSalon color for a few years now, to match the natural brown of my youth & cover my new dull & grey growth/roots that I just can't tolerate. The eSalon color consistently colors my hair perfectly, not a single grey escspes it! & as the weeks go on it always looks natural, never fades poorly (I only need to refresh my color every 8-10ish weeks usually). I'm very glad to have found this company.

I have been coloring my own hair since I was 15 when I started noticing grays! I am a natural strawberry blonde so it is super hard to find color close to my natural color that doesn’t look fake... After having my daughter my hair has gotten dull and drab. I've been using Esalon's light matt brown for about 2 years and love it. However, I fancied a change. I decided to darken my hair a little but after an unfortunate salon experience where I emerged looking like vampire I've have been really nervous about it. I need not have worried. After a quick email to the colourist, my hair is now a gorgeous chocolate brown shade and I absolutely love it. The colour looks natural and vibrant and doesn't leave a flat matt finish like some box dyes do. I'm so pleased and feel like I have my natural colour back; only better! Thank you Esalon!

Excellent hair colour, exactly as I requested. Easy to apply and comes with everything you need in the kit. Quick shipping. Only reason it is a 4 star is because my hair felt very dry and frizzy afterwards. Would recommend for anyone colouring their hair at home.

I have used this custom color set for three (3) years now and I absolutely love it. I am thrilled with the fact that you can make adjustments whenever you want and still receive a great product. The service has been wonderful. I also like the fact that I change my delivery schedule whenever I want, I can delay it or speed it up. Can't beat the service and the price.

I had a few annoying white hairs but was dreading the flat, unnatural color of box products or the time and expense of a salon. eSalon was a perfect match for me. The site was very easy to navigate. My kit was beautifully put together, and my custom color is fabulous! I've received many compliments at work about my hair - they love the copper tones and hint of violet mixed with the medium brown. I'm going grey really fast (I blame my genes also) and I was spending a fortune in salon visits every three weeks.
eSalon product is amazing and comes in a beautiful personalised package with customised details only for you! It's easy and simple to use.
At first the colour wasn't covering my grey hair well, however, I communicated this to my eSalon colour specialist and he made the right adjustment!
I have lots of good compliments about my hair colour and condition!

I was a little worried. I’ve always had my hair done by a stylist at the salon. This was the perfect solution for me and so much more inexpensive! They called and consulted when they had questions about my color and it turned out perfectly! No more hours wasted in a salon! Thank you eSalon you changed my life!
